I feel like we will need a place to discuss this juicy three part episode. Spoiler Alert, Robyn is the last wife standing. I’m not going to say much more here but I probably will be commenting frequently in the comments section.

Kody has changed a lot since the show started, He has always been a self-centered, preening cock but he had a sense of humor about him and respected his wives, cared for them. THEN Robyn came along and he broke all of the courting rules for her (which should have been a warning sign for the others) and she and Kody changed the family dynamic. He became angry and sullen, the blonde wives became redundant and Robyn won it all.
Talk about winning a booby prize.

I never liked Mary but I liked the other two and I’m very glad they all got away from that hideous life they had.
Cody is already in full meltdown mode. The interview starts with Christine leaving. Doesn’t he know he should unbutton his too small jacket when he sits down? He is also going straight for Christine’s jugular right off the bat.
Robyn is still hurt that Christine left. She really didn’t want her to go. She signed up for a poly family for life. Christine took that dream away from her. Robyn wishes that Christine would have let her in. Christine says she thought she did let Robyn in.
Meri feels betrayed by Christine for leaving her. So does Robyn. They play Cody talking about how he doesn’t consider himself married to Meri. Meri says this is exactly why Cody lost his mind when Christine left him. She just made her decision, packed her stuff and left. That is exactly what he is doing to Meri on this episode. Meri said she would consider reconciliation with Cody but he is not interested.
Well that episode was pointless. I was looking forward to it all day!
Meri was nasty to Christine in the recent past so calling BS on that. And Robyn (🙄🙄) is full of it, also nasty to Christine.
I wonder how long Robyn will stick around after everyone else leaves. And why does she think the other wives doing what is best for them somehow robs her of her dreams? When did she ever reach out to them? I feel like the only two wives who ever liked each other were Janelle and Christine.
Robyn will stay as long as they are on TV.

The ONLY reason Cody and Robyn are upset is because their meal tickets are leaving… For Meri and Janelle to give the money they made from the sale of their Vegas homes so Robyn could live in a million dollar home, have a nanny and spend like there’s no tomorrow, is sad! Hope that Janelle and Christine do a spin off and rake in the dough! What a burn on Cody and Robyn that would be!!! Maybe Robyn would have to get a job!
I hope another network courts them, wins them and puts them on at the same time on the same night. Yes, I dislike Kody Brown that much.
I’ve been rewatching old seasons because I only sporadically watched over the years. Christine has been vocally unhappy a looooooong time. It’s fascinating watching the old episodes knowing what happens
I’ve watched for years and I saw that Christine tried with the other wives and Kody. Meri was mean to Christine and Janelle. Robin acted like she was an expert on plural marriage and basically wanted them to forget their history without her. The whole dynamic changed when Meri divorced Kody and Robyn became the legal wife. Robyn and Kody are great at rewriting history and think they are great actors with fake crying
Haven’t watched it yet. Was hoping Meri wouldn’t be content being basically the “red headed stepchild” and so obviously the 3rd wheel. Robyn has always loved playing the victim, constantly wearing her distraught face.

I think Robyn and Kody expected Christine to raise her kids like she had the others. Then they would be free to do what they want. When that didn’t happen they didn’t need her. Robyn has shown she can’t raise her children on her own. I’m glad they moved on. I think Kody came in thinking I’ve prepped all my answers to make me look good but it didn’t succeed
Except that a couple of years ago (or so) Robyn hired her “Nanny” Christine was very upset because they never ASKED her to help with the kids. She didn’t understand why they hadn’t approached her.
Robyn is conniving and the victim all the time. Kody is playing right along with that. This whole thing with the Covid and all that is just them playing it all out for sympathy. Without the WIVES there is no need for SISTERS and no need for us to watch them on TV.

I remember way back when Janelle said that Mary was a bitch to her when her and Cody first married and made life impossible. And shes still a demanding bitch all the way through. Like when they moved to vegas and Mary had to have like a 5 bedroom house for just her. And then having a fit in flagstaff about her trees in her lot! Shes just a miserable person!! The 2 biggest mistakes they made were leaving Utah and then going to Flagstaff and having everyone living miles apart.. I thought plural families were supposed to live together? Janelle is pretty much the only one I like of the bunch!
Darn I forgot this was on last night and didn’t record it. I confess I didn’t watch this in the beginning – saw 1 or 2 episodes and thought these women must be idiots and stopped watching. Caught a marathon over the summer of the last few seasons and starting watching in the hopes that Christine would leave. Glad to see this house of religious man BS cards is falling down.
Hope they cancel Sister Wives and start Sister Exes with Christine and Janelle! Make him get a real job to support his passel of kids.

So glad Christine & Jenelle are away from that guy now. Also glad that they interviewed everyone separately because if they’d done it in a group, Kody would have flown into another one of his kidney-stabbing rages and talked over everyone. You know he was lying when he said he was touched by the rice krispie treats Meri made that he told Christine he was thinking about giving it another go with Meri & Christine threw a temper tantrum. The only person who has ever thrown a tantrum like a 2-year-old (on the show) is Kody. At this point, I don’t care whether or not Meri leaves, but I have no idea why she’s staying. Her biggest mistake was agreeing to divorce Kody so he could legally marry Robyn and adopt her kids. That gave Robyn ALL the power.
Did you see in the promo Meri said that NEVER happened with the second chance thing. Christine said the melt down never happened. Kody is on the verge of losing it. What happens to Coyote Pass is all the money is going away? They haven’t finished paying it off. Nothing come in from Christine. She kept the profits from her house. (as she should). Same with Janelle. Janelle always had a good job before. She has a good financial head on her shoulders. Meri has her inn and if her Mom left her money.
That leaves Robyn who just has babies and hasn’t worked a day since she came on, unless you count crying a job. Kody, just what does he do? I heard on a podcast that he actually takes any money the kids get if they are on right out of their accounts. He is on the go a lot. Where? Who knows!
Oh yes, she took the retirement money and started Sister’s Wife Closet or whatever it was called. Epic fail. Which neither Janelle or Christine wanted to do either.

I thought he sold guns at gun shows. I’ve never heard or read that he has an actual 9-5 in a gun manufacturing plant.
I think he does both. I saw a photo of him on Twitter recently inside the gun manufacturing plant. That is where he gets the guns to take to the gunshow maybe?
My understanding is that this is a three part tell all. HOWEVER it looks like next week we will get the last two combined. Probably because of holiday stuff. I am not sure what I just typed is fact. But the commercial seemed to indicate it.
Then next season, I suspect we will see Cody and and Robyn, plus the three ex wives all individually.
I would also like to point out that another thing that pisses me off is how he refers to Christine and Janelle’s children as her children but Robyn’s as their kids.
He is at odds with almost every one of his older children NOT because of Covid but because of the preference he has shown Robin’s kids over his with the other women. I have no problem believing Janelle when she said they couldn’t come unless they apologized to his crying wife Robyn. It is very difficult to deal with eternal victims.
I wish the interviewer had pointed that out to Kody. She should have asked him why he refers to the kids as Janelle’s and Christine’s like he had nothing to do with them getting pregnant.

I’m so glad that Cody is losing his sugar mamas. Now he and Robyn will have to support themselves! I love Christine’s firm stance and classy exit. I applaud her for maintaining a calm demeanor while defending herself. And I am SOOOO happy to see Janelle come alive and stand her ground. She had lots of babies to build the Brown family and turned around to work hard and help support everyone. Meri is spoiled and a cheater. At least her eyes are finally open as to the state of her marriage.
I would like a spinoff of Christine and Janelle. Those two are my faves. Glad to see they got out of that situation that neither benefited nor supported them in any way.
Christine has a cooking show thru TLC called “cooking with Christine.) I think it’s on FB for now.
I don’t keep up with the show but read the recaps. Kody makes a mockery of polygamy.
I know a poly family really well, it’s traditional for some cultures if the husband can afford to provide equally for the wives. Their children are all adults now. The husband, wife are senior citizens now. They are a cute couple. The first wife said she was very hurt when he took a 2nd wife after 15 years of marriage . He maintained 2 wives and added a 3rd wife a few years later.
In reflecting on his life, he said the competition and jealousy among the wives was difficult to deal with, also the 2nd wife was happy and satisfied until he got the 3rd wife. Each wife had their own home in different neighborhoods. The last wife divorced after 2 children and has remarried, in a monogamous marriage.
He has always lived with the 1st wife. He provides financially for them, whatever money the wives make is theirs to keep.
He regrets the pain he caused his 1st wife even though she agreed with the polygamy. They are a nice extended family, the children are close and they have a lot of love for each other.
My friend is a child of the 1st wife . My friend’s husband is the son of a polygamous marriage. They agreed a monogamous marriage is best for them and are great together.
Kody gives polygamy a bad name, he makes a spectacle of the lifestyle.
Part 2 of the reunion/tell all was aired on Sunday. I didn’t think it was possible, but Kody came off even worse in Part 2. It’s interesting to me that none of his first three wives have been happy in the marriage for a very long time. I hadn’t realized that when Kody & Meri got married they moved into a house Meri owned. When he brought Janelle in to be a Sister Wife, Meri wasn’t that thrilled about having another woman living there. By the time Christine entered the picture, Meri wasn’t at all welcoming, according to Christine’s description, since it was Meri’s house, Meri set up all of the household rules and made no bones about criticizing Janelle & Christine if they didn’t do things the way she wanted them done. Kody should have bought a house and had all three wives on the deed. I think he secretly enjoyed all of the backbiting among the women — until Robyn entered the picture.
If the show gets picked up for another season, I really wonder what the format/storylines will be.
I agree with what you are saying. We saw a side of Kody this time that he has not shown before. He has always been intense and energetic but came across as fun loving. This Kody is a bitter bastard with stank face. Robyn fake cries and looks like Grumpy Cat.
