Also tonight at 9 the finale of The White Lotus drops and that is the one thing I am hoping I will be awake for. I can’t really control my sleeping right now. This show is the best thing on TV for quite some time. I’ll probably make comments in The White Lotus thread.

You’re right about RHOP. I sort of zone out while I’m watching it. It sounds like the tests have determined it’s your gallbladder. That’s a step in the right direction. I hope your surgery goes well and you’re on the road to recovery asap.

I’m with you on the screaming going on in RHOP. I have no idea what’s going on either! I have heard so much about White Lotus that I believe I will be binging Season 1 & 2 this week. Keep us posted regarding your gall bladder surgery so we can send all the prayers, good vibes, all the things that will make it go smoothly!
Hi Tamara. So sorry to hear about your health problems. Many of my family members have had their gall bladders removed and are much better because of it. I hope that you have the same experience. Praying for your healing and for the surgeon to have a steady hand! I don’t comment very often but I really enjoy your recaps and i will be so happy when you start up again! Especially love your blinds!
As for Potomac, it is my absolute favorite franchise. I love karen, Ashley and Kandis! As much as I like Mia I agree with those three that Wendy should not be ostracized and excluded on a group trip. Mia is acting out and she just looks petty.
Gizelle and Robin are complete bullies this season. I am really starting to strongly dislike Robin mostly. She seems insecure around Wendy.

Tamara–please have your doctors test for h Pylori, I had that along with gall bladder problems. Treated h Pylori first then removed my gall bladder. Take care!
You should probably try watching a show like a the Great British Baking Show. It is delightful and always lifts my mood. Sometimes the housewives shows are just so negative.
I hope you are well.soon. I know quite a few who have had that surgery. It takes a few weeks to recover but you will feel much better.
I am not big on most food and cooking shows…but at the holidays I LOVE the holiday baking shows! Yes, they are uplifting and seeing the talent. I think I watch 3 or 4 different ones. I also like “Chopped” and old reruns of Iron Chef.
I LOVE that show. It is now free on Roku so I put it on every night when I go to sleep. Happy, lovely, scrummy dreams!
I love this show. But, again, Wendy mentioned having 4 degrees. As someone with 2 degrees, only one of which had any actual bearing on my career, what difference does it make how many degrees you have if you don’t really use them? Asking for a friend.
I’m also totally amazed at how much I like Candiace this season.
I never thought of it that way. I have several degrees and never mention them. Why would I? And, like you, only one pertains to my career. It’s interesting she keeps bringing it up.
I watched Andy’s Watch what happens live, he tacked it on to the end if Potomac.
It was cute, Karen and Eva Marcelle were on. I enjoyed them
That was a good show. Eva is great! I loved when Andy asked about Kim Fields and Eva said she and Kim talk about a lot of things but never about Housewives.
I still love potomac but wendy is hard to take. A friend of mine just had gall bladder surgery and feels 1000% better. Sending you healing wishes

Tamara I was reading a book on Jodi Arias and saw the author mentioned you and your site. I’m sure you know but I thought it was pretty neat.
I can’t watch the yelling and screaming either. These days I put my TV on mute and watch it with subtitles.
I had a gall bladder test which was normal but it sounds like we have a lot of the same issues. The anxiety is still my worst symptom.
I have found CBD to help tremendously and it does not get you high.
Prayers and healing to you. This horrible adventure you have been on is hopefully coming to a close.

I wasn’t aware I was in a book!
I covered that trial from beginning to end. If you search in my search box for Jodi Arias and scroll all the way back, you can get minute by minute analysis of the whole thing. This is when I learned there is a 500 comment maximum for comments. Each day I had two or three or more posts every day. The Bravoholics were furious that I was all Jodi all day.

Candiace semi-cried without folding a napkin into a triangle.
I saw that cry without the cyrangle! And the trail the tear left through her makeup! I have terrible oily skin and cannot imagine wearing that much foundation! I would just be a walking zit by the end of the day.

Pretty sure the reason Wendy feels the need to bring up her degrees because of her HUGE insecurities. There are times when she seems to have zero social skills. Lord knows watching her eat is hard to watch.

Yep – while it is an accomplishment, she seems to use it as a mask, shield, many things other than a badge of honour.
Tamara got me onto Kempirs, and in a recent YouTube video, a caller said Wendy mentioned not having many female friends. If true, that can have a lot to do with her insecurities, or even the way she’s seen as abrasive one day then overly sweet on the other.
Rhop is still my favourite – even if I don’t comment. I always check to see Tamara’s write up!

I know this is a little out of the blue, but I just read that Kate Chastain is pregnant with her first child! There are pictures of her baby bump on-line. I’m very happy for her.

Potomac is a weird show for me because I don’t really love to hate any of these ladies.
I used to really dislike Karen for her grand dame pretensions but now she just amuses me.
Same with Candiace. I did not like her one bit and was upset how she got Monique off the show but she shows enough of how sad her life is and gives amusing enough shady confessionals that I can pity her at the same time I may dislike her behavior.
All of them are stuck up in certain ways despite how messy they are and they are all also bone carriers constantly bringing each other a peg down in certain ways.
This season though could use more light hearted storylines to break up the pot stirring and shouting matches. From the midseason preview it looks like we got a lot more yelling in store

I LOVE all the Potomac ladies but Wendy. Though she certainly doesn’t deserve to have drinks thrown on her (no one does), she is the only housewife that never seems happy. She has a gorgeous husband and beautiful children, but she doesn’t seem happy with them either. She constantly talks about her 4 degrees but I don’t think they make her happy either because if they did, she wouldn’t have to mention them so often. Out of all the ladies on the show, she seems devoid of joy and brings other people down when they’re around her too. I wanted to like her but she makes it impossible.
