It’s time for another Winter House Recap! And to be honest this is the best show I could be recapping tonight. It’s so bad it’s good if that makes since. I think the Tom’s leave on this episode. Are they really so busy they could only come for a couple of days?
We start with Paige crying because she is dating a man child with no social skills. They are all still on the mountain and ready to come in from the cold. It is in fact The Toms last night in the house. Austen is missing Olivia. She’s in Vegas living her best life. The group changes clothes and is in full blown party mood. Schwartz is leaving at five am and Sandoval is leaving at eight am. I can’t believe they are not flying back together! They are like Siamese Twins! Are we still allowed to say “Siamese Twins”?
They all look ridiculous. What does it say about these man boys that they all seem to love wearing eye makeup. Are we still allowed to say eye makeup is for women and the guys in KISS? (It was a band, for the younguns reading. 🙂 Paige tries to talk some sense into Craig. Good luck with that, girl. Schwartz is still not admitting that he and Katie are divorcing. Perhaps they agreed to keep it off the show? Ah, he just said he is trying to protect Katie’s privacy. Lots of people are making out. More than I can keep up with but the focus is on Jess and Kory. Wasn’t she the one who felt violated??? Girl, please. Stop sending mixed signals! Now she is begging him for sex. Good Lord!
The Morning After
Schwartz makes his five am departure, but Sandoval oversleeps. Jessica immediately shares with Rachel that she and Kory got it in the night before. There were more details than we needed to know. Lindsey feels like the other girls don’t like her. Austen invites Olivia to Stowe. She doesn’t seem that interested. Kyle and Amanda go to visit his grandmother on her 99th birthday. Meanwhile, Craig and Paige and Kory and Jessica go on a double date to the bowling alley. Wasn’t Craig the one that made all the allegations toward Kory? This makes no sense!
Word gets back to the girls about Jessica feeling excluded by most of the girls. Austen sort of polls the women about bringing Olivia out and decides to ask Ciara specifically. But first, Amanda spills the beans to Ciara. Ciara says if Olivia is coming, she is leaving. Time to order pizza! Then the go to bed at a reasonable hour? I’m shocked. Rachel takes the girls to see her beautiful flower shop. Meanwhile, the guys are getting hammered at a bar. The girls bring home tons of floral arrangements for the dinner party. Jason is making chicken parm.
The Mean Girls
Kyle is in charge of the glam squad for the guys. I have no idea what the theme of anything is anymore. They just all seem to think everyday is Halloween and they need a costume. Jess tells Rachel again that the girls just ignore her when she walks into a room. Rachel says she will try to figure out what is going on with the mean girls. The flowers and the chicken parm were both big hits.
Ciara and Austen sit down for a talk. I predict that this will not go well. How is Ciara just now realizing that Austen is a slut pig? Austen actually realizes that he is a douchebag. That’s progress for him. Rachel goes to talk to the mean girls. She tells them everything Jessica was saying. They say all she does is chase the guys so they really don’t even see her much. Paige says she has gotten “this” girls thinking she is a mean girl since second grade. So, perhaps you should consider that you are, Paige. Paige shows it even more when she confronts Jessica for calling her a mean girl. As mean girls do. Jessica stands her ground. Paige storms out threatening Jessica.
And that’s the recap…
