How long is divorce from Cody going to take? On last week’s Sister Wives episode Christine Brown announce to the family that she was leaving Cody. But when? I am all for her plans to do that. But, is she hanging around for the rest of the season? These are things I want to cover in this week’s Sister Wives recap. Cody, is still making things all about him. Today, his mission is to go get Janelle’s RV/Trailer she is going to live in on the land. Cody bought his his brother’s truck from his widow. Robyn was against it. She seems pissed that Cody is spending money on Janelle, if you ask me.
Cody Is Such A Dick
Cody continues to make things more difficult for everyone. Janelle has to move the RV every 120 days. That requires her to talk the other wives for permission to part there. This makes no sense. She won’t be able to keep her RV on her property even after a house is there? Plus, who comes to check on this? It’s not like they live in a neighborhood. Plus, Christine’s lot and Kody’s lot should not be an issue. Next, we get scenes from Meri about her mother’s passing. It’s been four weeks, and we have seen no support from her family. It seems that Meri is at her bed and breakfast. The other wives and Cody give short tributes. Cody told Meri she should just move up to the B&B. He really only cares about Robyn.
Janelle and Cody go to see her RV. Even though for whatever reason, maybe to build a pad, they won’t bring the RV home for another month. Again, why? Janelle bought the trailer sight unseen. Janelle thinks the RV is massive. It sure looks that way to me. But, Cody insists that it is small. Janelle loves it. I think it is cute for two people who are fine living off the land. Cody is just a downer. Christine throws Isabel a graduation party. Instead of helping Christine set up for Isabel’s party, he invites her to spend the day with him. SIGH.
Isabel’s Graduation Party
As preparations continue for Isabel’s party, the older kids give interviews about Christine leaving. Isabel is happy that her mom is leaving Cody. Mykelti feels the same way. Cody feels like he deserves more respect from his kids. So he does little to nothing to help and sits in a chair and sulks. It is also Isabel’s birthday party. She’s turning 18 and Kody thinks she is turning 17. What a dad. The rest of the family is happy to be together. This may be the last time they are. The whole family is going to sing to Isabel. The vocals were bad but she loves it anyway.
It all kind of ends on a positive note. I am confused how Meri is there, due to timeline discrepancies. Robyn doesn’t get why the family is falling apart. It’s because of YOU Robin. This is what the family was like before you showed up. I’m telling you Janelle will be the next to leave Cody. Cody begins to realize that he is also losing Isabella. Cody wants Christine to stay. This is how men are. After it is over, they realize what they had. And he is being a big baby about it. He seems to think all of this is happening TO HIM rather than BECAUSE OF HIM. Typical asshole dude.
Next Week: Christine tells Cody she told Truely they are moving to Utah. Again, he makes it all about him. Technically, it is about him. If he had made an effort with the other wives and kids to spend equal time with them, this would not be happening. Also, he is going to refuse to spend time with Janelle and her kid in the RV. Here we go again. He has learned nothing.
