I’m trying really hard to get up a quick RHODubai Recap ASAP. We shall see how long it takes me. Wednesdays are my busiest night. Again, apologies. On it now.
We begin with Stanbury and Leesa continuing to go after each other. Leesa calls Stanbury “The Wicked Witch of the Middle East.” Then she claims that Stanbury was in Jeffery Epstein’s notebook. Sounds like she probably knows Diana. She admits to being very good friends with him. Wow. Then Nina and Leesa argue over… french fries? Nina and Leesa seem to make up. That was sudden.
Now we have to talk to Ayan about her FGM. I can’t deal with this. It makes me want to vomit and I don’t need more help with that. Why is Andy asking so many questions? Ayan says that FGM is still happening in her family. Finally we move on to Ayan’s friendship with Nina. Finally, we get some cute footage of all the babies. Stanbury says that when she gave birth she never attached to them. Wow. I might not have said that on TV. Ayan wants to go to college with her son. I don’t think she is joking.
It’s the reunion and I still don’t know who is who on this show. Stanbury has no reason to have issues with Ayan. Leesa is a good friend of Ayan. Stanbury is still pissed that Ayan upstaged her at her reception. Ayan’s response is basically she will always look the best in any situation. Where is the lie? Brooks talks about how the white woman’s husband coming to save her upset the black women. #WhiteWomenTears Somehow Ayan and Stanbury end on a good note. It seems like they are all trying to end on a good note.
They all give each other gag gifts at the end. Stanbury’s is sort of a jab. Actually, many of them are. Wow, Sara gave Brooks a trip for the two of them to go to the Maldives. Stanbury’s reaction was, “And I got a fire extinguisher!” LOL.
And that’s a wrap! What did you think of the inaugural season?
