I’m really hoping that there is more to this Below Deck Down Under Recap than there was from last night’s Below Deck Med Recap. I kept trying to tell you that Below Deck Med was a lot better this season, but that seems to be hitting the wall. Also, I am still trying to figure out who the asshole is between Jason and Jamie. The deck crew does seem to be more incompetent. On the other hand, Captain Jason’s obsession with the laundry seems like Captain Sandy level of micromanagement. So, I guess we will have to just see what happens tonight. Will Bennie actually quit? Or get fired? Will Jamie? I feel like Captain Jason wants to send a lot of people home. Oddly, he seems to favor Magda who basically does nothing but text all day.
Party Time, Excellent!
Once again, Bravo gives no photos for this show. Le Sigh. It is an hour and a half before the show an I am already exhausted. I hope I can get some sleep tonight. Spoiler Alert I fall fast a sleep while waiting on the episode to air. SIGH! Let me get through this quickly as I am still not awake. I also just realized Instacart didn’t bring my gatorade. 🙁 . It looks like we are starting with a crew night out. Ryan is being a prick right off the bat. He gets thrown out the bar right away for defending the girls to some even bigger losers.
Jamie explains to Ryan that breaking glass bottles in a bar in Australia can get you sent directly to jail. Everyone decides to go back to the boat. Ryan threw a bottle at the guys heckling the girls. Then, he nearly fell out of the van getting back to the boat. Back at the boat, Captain Jason realized that Magda is the one running up the cell phone bandwidth. YAY! She uses ten times more gigabits than any other crew member. The primary at the next charter is a former employee of Captain Jason’s. This group knows what to expect on charter.
Magda’s Slacking Off Gets More Apparent
Aesha discovers the next morning that Aesha didn’t clean any of the bathrooms before going to bed. She wakes Magda up and makes her try to explain herself. Magda says that she is sick. Then, she admits she is hungover. Looks like Magda may be booted before Benny. Aesha decides to keep Magda on service so she can keep an eye on her. Next, the all male guests arrive by tinder. Magda is late to greet them. Then she ruins one of the guest’s shirts in the washer. It was dry clean only. He just wanted it to be hung up somewhere.
The guests are all rowdy. Jamie blessed out Brittinti for flirting with all of the guests rather than doing her job. It looks like Benny may actually be working. Captain Jason joins the guys for an Italian dinner. Ryan way over salts the pasta water and the guests point that out. Captain Jason is pissed. He is trying to replace Ryan but the pandemic is going on and no one is quarantine at the moment. Meanwhile, Benny goes to be without finishing all of his work. A couple of the guests caught some squid for the next night’s dinner. Captain Jason is not pleased with the condition of the deck the next day.
The Guys Go Spearfishing The Next Morning
The guys catch a few fish but Ryan doesn’t want them in his kitchen unless they have been scaled. That sounds like a Ryan job to me. Benny ordered blow ups sex dolls for the buck’s party. Then, Ryan tries to complain about Aesha’s service to Captain Jason. Then, when Jason points out his food has no wow fact and is kind of basic, Ryan says he is there to serve the guests and not the captain. It’s going to be a close race about who gets fired first out of Ryan, Magda and Benny. They all need to go.
Culver comes out on deck as some kind of hillbilly sex worker and gives two blow up dolls a not so sexy lap dance as the evening entertainment. Brittini is impressed with his hip thrusting. Really? The guests want to know where their squid is out. Captain Jason, and Ryan get into it again over Ryan not listening to what the guests want. This crew is a hot mess.
Hopefully, I can get back to sleep now. I’ve only had about an hour and a half in the past couple of days. Who do you think will be fired first? On Captain’s Lee’s boat all three of them would be gone two charters ago.
