I can only speak for myself and I’m sorry you’re going through “IT” right now, TT. Everyone tells me the same thing … self care and rattled off a list of what I can do. That’s a tall order for me. What I would like to know is HOW. How do I get to the point where I can calm down enough to think about self care? When I’m going through a rough time with anxiety, physical and emotional pain but still have to function for work and as a mom, how do I think “self care” in that moment?
I haven’t been watching Bravo either. For some reason, I am rewatching the January 6th hearings. I’m sure that’s not helping my anxiety but I’m hooked. You would think after the battles with my ex and being dragged through zoom court throughout the pandemic, I wouldn’t want to see anything similar 🤷♀️
I know its a slippery slope but it always grounds me in the present moment by taking a walk taking a bath & sometimes just sitting down / laying down & breathing ( deep ones then release ) I find SELF CARE is the only thing that works for me. Agreed. What is Kyle’s storyline? Nothing she opened a shop in Mexico that is it. So she interjects herself into Suttons conversation with Diana for some screen time. She is coming across as the lap/guard dog to Diana in the same way she was with LVP. Telling Sutton it was convenient to bring up a miscarriage and insinuate she was lying was beyond!!! I had a miscarriage years ago I hardly tell anyone about. I felt sorry for Garcelle’s party it did not look like a super fun party. I think Rob was right saying why is the dance floor so big last episode. Nancy, me too. This episode bothered me. Kyle has been my ultimate fave since the beginning of RHOBH. I did not like the way she put her hands on Sutton and spoke to her. I cringed when she said “Bullshit” when Sutton was trying to relate to Diana and said she (Sutton) had had 2 miscarriages. It was like it just wasn’t true if the group did not know that info. A miscarriage is something so private for a lot of people and not something you just bring up in idle conversation.

It is my first time watching it! I am So hooked! I got peacock so I could watch Ultimate Girls Trip and it was on there. I swear it makes me want to be a better person. You never see Anyone without a task unless they are reading a book. And Yes! The speech, I love words anyway and it’s so true.
I am 100% Irish and we are supposed to Hate the Brits, but my Aunts who were in service, as was my grandfather and grandmother (Chauffer and housemaid in the late 1800’s – 1930. And they told me that the Irish were always the maids and were really the ones who taught manners and breeding. So she raised her 7 children that way as did my mom with us 7. We didn’t have money but I like to think we had class.
I like that thinking! My grandparents (both sides) immigrated from Ireland and worked as gardeners, cooks, nannies, maids, chauffeurs etc. at first. I think of all they did to make theirs lives better. And of course mine 2 generations later. ☘️

I went to Paris when the final episode was showing there and watched it in my room on some British Channel. A bottle of wine, a Parisian view (of sorts, I am cheap, but it still felt like the lap of luxury to me. #FondTravelMemories The BEST part of solo travel is not having to compromise over what to do travel companions. The first solo trip to Paris, I did all the touristy things. That was fun. After that all I wanted to was eat at my favorite Gyro stand, eat as many Croque Monsieurs as pubs that I passed. It’s a ham and cheese sandwich. But each one I try is better than the last. Sometimes they come with….random and tasty stuff,… sometimes just the sandwich. HIGHLY RECCOMMEND. I’m not an egg kinda gal. But if you are order Croque Madame. Same sammich but with and ovary or summinlike that. 🙂

Silly me, I always drink beer there. Some 18XX numbers I’ve already forgotten. I URGE YOU to stop being quite so posh and have a Croque Monsieur at literally anywhere and a gyro from L’As du Fallafel 34 Rue des Rosiers there will always be a line. It is totally worth it. This is where Parisians eat.
There is also a Gyro competitor across the street. It’s kind of a big deal competition like in Philly where I understand two competitors fight over who has the best sandwiches. Philly cheese steaks I think. Don’t go to the other place! LOL.
I just learned by trying to remember the name via Google that they have a sit down restaurant thingy. Just get in the line and walk until you find a place I usually go left if you are looking at the gyro place and eventually stumble to a beautiful church where I eat my Gyro on the steps and then go in an pray/meditate/enjoy the years of peace inside.
Also, the area that the Gyro place is in makes me happy. It’s kind of a mix of Arabs and Jews living together in harmony. Walk a bit further to the right (not good places to sit for a LONG way) you get to a gay hood. It’s like all the cultures and people live in harmony and it makes me happy.
TT, I get the 5 Euro bottles of champs from Franprix or Monoprix! The Pain Au Chocolat are only about a euro.
My favorite thing to buy in Paris aside from the wine is Christmas decorations.

I have excellent sandwiches in simple type of tabac-bars in Paris and elsewhere in France, to sit by the bar and get the best baguette bread with cheese or rillette and cornichons is a real joy. I have met great people in places like these as well.
I’m watching Downton for the first time, too! Just started last week for some reason. Went away for the weekend so I need to get back to it–mid 2nd season or something like that. Fascinated with the hierarchy of the servants and their starched, buttoned-up, always pristine look and I love the beautiful scenery.

I don’t know where this post will land but JO, the concierge at the K+K where I stay violated all the rules and took me out for NYE which could have gotten him fired. Then the metro shut down and there were not taxis and this skinny little guy got us a bike and I sat on the seat while he pedaled us home. I will never stay Anywhere else in Paris. Like YEARS later and I am staying in a normal room they REMEMBER ME. And treat me like a Queen. One day I just stayed in my room and they called to check on me and sent stuff up to me. It’s LITERALLT THE BEST HOTEL IN PARIS. And also, people weirdy like me. LOL.
I resisted watching Downton Abbey for years. I was hooked from the first episode. the clothes are magnificent. the lifestyle of the aristocrats is so otherworldly to me, but fascinating. The cast is incredible.
I saw a PBS documentary that said a few of the clothes are authentic, preserved from the era. I always spend a moment wondering… is that one of them? I actually love that you see the outfits in multiple episodes. Not like Friends or something where they never wore the same thing twice!
Yes, they are authentic. I used to collect Vintage clothing in Fairfield County in the 70’s and I could cry when I think of what I could have and should have bought. It is a very rich area and the thrift stores were filled with dead people’s clothing. I still have a few pieces, they are works of art to me.
I am happy I am not alone in the Downton Abbey watch! I am halfway through season 2. I am addicted!
TT, take as much time away as you require to feel better. I think it’s stressful recapping the decline of reality tv shows never mind dealing with your reported struggles. I personally enjoy your commentary on high profile trials, activities of your neighbors/ lawn boy , foreign travel memories and the hilarious Honey Badger at your therapy pool. I think, without going into specifics , Kyle is rightly receiving backlash for her comments and behavior on RHOBH. Fortunately for Kyle , she has good family support and can use Mauricio’s new Netflix show as a reason for leaving RHOBH if she has an uncomfortable time on the reunion , as a good manufactured public image is most important to her.
Lawn Kid drama has also been at the max during all of this. The baby mama was at my house crying yesterday. I am no longer speaking to him and he seems to have ghosted both of us. Because I am way to trusting and hopeful that some of the things I tried to instill in him, honesty, keeping your word, supporting your child and the baby mama have clearly fallen on deaf ears.

I cried the day I realized that despite all of the effort I put in to raising my son to think of others, he grew up to be a selfish man like his father.
As someone who has never met you and but has been coming to your site for year, you do not suck as a mother. Sometimes it takes YEARS before the lessons kick in and kids realize that their moms were right and actually knew what they were talking about. Most of us were horrible selfish human beings during our teen years but we came out okay in the end! (Well. . .sorta!)
I always love Kyle. Can’t help it. She makes friends and keeps them other than she who shall remain nameless. I understood why Kyle got upset with Sutton. She was trying to apologize and Sutton kept telling her what she did wrong and what she was thinking instead of just listening. Sutton is always on my last nerve though. She’s the moral police. I know everyone thinks the opposite and I’m okay with that. The whole world is upside down to me so me being opposed to everyone else kind is makes sense.

I think Sutton kept interrupting Kyle’s “apology” to be sure that Kyle would actually acknowledge what she was apologizing for. It was one of the most insincere apologies I’ve ever heard. Diana is repulsive. Erika’s behavior was atrocious. Rinna looked like a cartoon character at Sutton’s luncheon. This bunch of rude women harping on about having to sit outside and walk on wet grass annoyed the crap out of me. Complaining that there wasn’t enough food before they even started eating was beyond rude. Were they all raised in the wild by wolves? My mother would have slapped us into next Tuesday if she ever saw any of us act like that.
As for Dubai, Caroline S. is even worse on this show than she was on Ladies of London, and that’s almost impossible to believe. What in God’s name does Sergio see in her? She treats him like crap in front of the other women & their husbands. She’s complaining about his parents before even meeting them. The sad story about being in boarding school from 6 to 18 so she wasn’t around family is nothing but an excuse. She’s had a long, long time between 18 & now to figure out that family is important to some people. If she doesn’t want to deal with that she should have found a rich orphan to marry.
The new villain is Kyle and the more she talks the worse it gets. EG asking for a threesome was barf so trashy and maybe I am paranoid but with the trafficking of kids it makes me really sad to see G’s children treated disrespectfully. Dubai is interesting but CS is a very mean person, especially to her husband. She has big d*ck energy and not in a good was but in demeaning awful way. TT really hope you find a way to get on a normal sleep schedule. I am super cranky when tired.

Sutton’s lunch was nicely decorated and Rinna looked like a weird little anime character in her stupid shoes.
Erika’s behavior at the borthday party was abhorrent. She spoke so disrespectfully to Garcelle’s sons. What made it all the worse is how Kyle and Dorit act as if Erika’s drinking is so much fun, that her drunkenness makes her look relaxed and light. No. Drunken Erika is an asshole. Then she decodes she isn’t going to overdrink at Sutton’s event and then she drank a lot.
Diana needs to go away. Her weird lip licking scares me.
RHoD – I couldn’t stand Stanbury on LoL and I can’t stand her in Dubai. Poor little Sergio, I think he’s more into her than she is into him. She doesn’t even seem like she’s 100% into this wedding. They should not bring children into this world. They’re so different and have nothing in common.
I always liked Phaedra from RHoA. Aside from lying about her due date and the whole dungeon/rape accusations, she brought so much to the show. She was smart and had such funny quips (“Everybody knows..”). It was disappointing to see her go. Her being in Dubai was so ridiculous funny and I don’t understand why there aren’t more housewives crossovers.

I think there are many mature commenters here who are not “Team anyone” in these reality stars feuds, and I’ve never been that invested to “hate” someone I see portrayed on reality tv. I do comment on bad behavior where it’s shown and Kyle fits under that category the same way Heather Dubrow , Ramona, Erika, Nene , Candiace and others have in the past.

And the Dorit pity-party continues. When she was blah-blah-blah about not being able to take her kids to the park or playground (can’t remember exact words) I was thinking, “don’t you leave that up to the nanny” I don’t see Dorit packing up the kids to mingle with common-folk like a playground.

And then were Dorit, PK, Kyle and Mauricio laughing and joking about how Erika told a 14 year old to “get the fuck out of here” Let’s see someone say that to one of their kids and ask them how funny it is. I have been wondering for a while if it’s all in the editing? Has Kyle had moments like this before that we didn’t get to see because they were edited out? Remember what a great edit Nene got in the beginning? Kim Z? Teresa Giudice? Erika J? LVP?
All these women are human and are going to have an occasional moment they wish they could take back but when you see someone act the way Kyle did on this episode it can’t be apologized or explained away. Sutton tries very hard to be a good hostess and act ladylike. I may not agree with all her beliefs but the way she has kept her cool when attacked over and over is amazing and I’m glad she has Garcelle in her corner. And for Erika to think it was OK to talk like that to Garcelle’s son if he was 16 and to hit on her other son so hard it was an embarrassment and was a new low even for her.
I don’t blame editing. Kyle has always been Kyle. I saw it from season 1. She’s always behaved like a school yard bully. Remember the girls in elementary school who always came to class with lip gloss or a new pair of shoes and thought they were the $h!t and played favorites? Kyle just reminds me of the cringiest people I knew growing up. Last week someone wrote about her running toward the drama with her short little legs and every time she’s on TV now that’s what I see.
I agree. She always talks about all her friends and how she wants everyone to get along, but she stirs the pot to get them fighting and seems to want to be the center of attention. She wants to be the one with the gossip, the invite, the new purse or the first one to arrive in a tragedy but doesn’t seem to want to help – just get credit for being there or knowing what is going on. She has betrayed and talked about friends to other friends on the show for years. I arm-chair diagnose/wonder if it is because of the competition with her sisters. Acting jobs with Kim and Kathy being the super-rich sister. Now she has come up with the show and her husband’s real estate firm so she is the top dog in the family. I always had a “keep her at arms length” feeling about her.
The past 2 nights. Ive gotten 2.5hrs sleep total. Wake up alert but knowing I need more sleep. Worked out to exhaustion and still wide awake. I broke down and I bought Tamra’s CBDs gummies for sleep, sad to see her lights out were sold out, but I just want to rest normally, we’ll see.
I think I watched a total of 20min. All of Diana’s scene skipped, even if it meant vital story line, hah! Kyle is just awful on so many levels this year on and off the show. BHs is definitely knee deep in a honey truck this year. Dorit is still a waste of air. The party out on the grass, yeah I think I would have been pissed as well, you know these women never go casual. I’m really curious why they didn’t just swap it to inside unless production wanted her to look bad. Can’t blame it on covid protocols anymore so wth! Rinna looked rediculous, glad the witch didn’t show. Maybe they do need Kim Richards back so Rinna can target her hatred elsewhere. Everyone, with the exception of Garcelle and Sutton are the most classless, disgusting women on the planet. Mauricio was an asshole as well. Watching Rinna trying to score points with younger viewers with that ridiculous outfit was pathetic. It’s amazing how low people will stoop for their 10 minutes of fame and a paycheck.

Brief story interruption. In my twenties I was in grad school at UGA and lived in an apartment, but it sort of felt like a co-ed dorm except for one of my old next door neighbors. On the other side was white frat boy who spent most of his time high on acid watching religious services. Apparently the preachers move there hands a lot and he like the trails. He always tried to get me to try it but I wasn’t interested. One spring he came over and announced we would be going to the Redneck Riviera (Panama City, FL) for Spring Break.

The yearly membership is nominal, like $1500 a year. However, the 300 members split the yearly upkeep evenly which runs in the tens of millions per year per member.

I had 2 miscarriages and haven’t told but 3 people. My best friend, my ex, and my youngest sister. And I am Very close to my other sisters. There I said it. I feel so safe here, thank you Tamara.
Okay, I am going to share something here that I would never share on my social media page about pain. I am a long time smoker. I recently had some issues with my toes where they were turning purple. It hurt so bad, like tiny knives inside my toes stabbing me. Constant throbbing. I couldn’t sleep. The pain was so severe. I went to my doctor and then a foot specialist who determined that I was not getting oxygen to my toes. I was referred to a vascular specialist and finally had a procedure that opened up my veins. In the interim the pain was so severe that I dreamed of getting a gun and shooting my toes off. I have always looked at people sideways when they OD ore killed themselves because physical pain is to much. I will never do that again. I have a high tolerance to pain. I have birthed 4 children and dislocated my elbow twice and had to endure physical therapy. This toe thing almost took me out. I honestly felt like death would be a comfort. Thank God I was able to get relief. But for anyone that suffers from chronic pain. I see you.
Take care of yourself! That has to be so hard. People don’t seem to understand chronic pain until they go through it themselves.
I’m truly sorry for what you have gone through Lola. I do understand, and people who do not deal w/chronic pain can never seem to understand. I could not function if I did not have ablations (nerves burned) in my back every 6 mos and same for my bi yearly series of knee injections.

That was until I got the shingles and was left with PHN ( long ass name, that simply put is Permanent Nerve Damage.) it feels like a blowtorch is on high right on my face .. on a “good day” I can get that torch turned down to a 7 or an 8.

Kyle was indeed grabbing at Brandi despite her telling Kyle to stop touching her. When she kept at it, Brandi bitch slapped that pizza out of her hands. I didn’t buy Kyle crying victim after wards. She got what she deserved, as she put her hands on Brandi first.
I can go on with all the examples that justify my being cunty toward Kyle. She’s not a nice person. She couldn’t be any happier when LVP moved on so she could finally jump on the throne of fan favorite Lisa left. I’m not saying LVP didn’t have faults, but Kyle was always a horrible person, I’m glad more of you are seeing past her facade.
Indeed. Girls/women like Kyle have always become popular, like the girlgroup leaders in school that can say whatever they want and whenever they want. I never liked them, if you speak up against them they go crazy.
Erika and Diana are so disgraceful and foul that Sutton is flying under their radar. Cos Sutton baffles me. I do think she’s socially awkward. She never seems to get it just right, not for lack of trying. That scene with Diana and her bizarre tongue about health issues that Sutton shared? It was so hard to follow. Then, throw Kyle walking into it midway through and it became more bizarre. What’s with Sutton grabbing Diana physically? And then Kyle doing same to Sutton? I’m wondering now if the legalisation of various gummies and other products is showing in their behaviour? Not the physical stuff so much, just the wackery of it all?
Erika is a foul mouthed germ and a social disaster. Despite her inability to have a conversation that isn’t full of foul language, references to threesomes and her’s and the genitalia of others, I do not get any sexy or sensual vibes from Erika. She’s just freakin classless. And tasteless. And the way she spoke to both of Garcelle’s sons whilst (more weird physicality) hanging off Dorit’s neck? I am very impressed by Garcelle’s restraint! Especially concerning her 14 year old son. I also heard that Loni Love, who was at the party, commented that Erika was incredibly awkward to be around and made some totally tone deaf and ignorant comment about how the support she was getting coming from …and she pointed at Loni’s skin. In other words, saying that it’s the black community supporting her! I’m sure no one wants to be aligned with dusty foul mouthed old ‘pat the puss’ as she continues to furiously dig that hole she’s in deeper. She’s reminding me a bit of Dorinda when confronted about any poor behaviour, where their response is immediately to double down on it! This franchise! What is going on?! And we haven’t even got to the Kathy Hilton saga yet!
I think one big difference between Sutton and the others is that most of them are paid actors/performers. She is living her life naturally (more or less) on the show and they are playing a part as if reading from a script. Especially Rinna and Kyle. Everything Rinna does is rehearsed.
Maybe this is why Sutton comes across a little awkward to you?
Perfect description of Dorinda! She most definitely doubles down! She may want to be portrayed as gracious but is quite the opposite. Truly rude and insulting and feels entitled to do so because it is her home. Too bad it wasn’t able to be filmed at a resort so they were on an equal playing field with her.

I’m getting to know the faces on Dubai, Chanel Ayan , the model, has such a loving husband and son. I laughed when she said Stanbury would be her coincidence— she meant acquaintance. She also gave Satanbury’ marriage 2 years.
Leesa is the one with the clothing line, goat , cute husband and 3 little adorable boys. Nina is the peacemaker with the husband, and children, she’s from Lebanon. Brooks is opening her own spa with her exhusband’s money – she was the one with Phaedra. She is the potstirrer- invited Leesa and didn’t tell her Stanbury was coming.
Sarah is a native of Dubai/ UAE, divorced, picks wrong men, has a son , paves her own way in the culture, free spirit and has many successful companies.
RHOBH, Kyle has always been like this but I love her family so I figured she couldn’t be too bad… but this season, it is clear what a vile, butt kissing, turncoat, bad friend she is— Sutton is supposed to be her friend and Kyle was riding HARD for Diana/ future real estate listing/business deal……Kyle’s priorities are whatever is best for her immediate family and family business/real estate— friends are expendable when a bigger fish is available.
Rinna was in Diana’s book- enough said.
