Say what you will about Vicki Gunvalson, and believe me you all have a lot to say; but, Vicki really dodged a bullet when it comes to Steve Lodge. She has dated a few losers in her past, but in my opinion, Steve is worse than all of them put together. I think the only thing Steve is in love with other than himself is Puerta Vallarta. He spent most of his time there in Vicki’s vacation home while she was earning a living in Orange County. Let’s just say he probably was not faithful during that time.
Then, there was the timeline of the Vicki breakup. He allegedly began dating Janis Carlson, at the end of September 2021 the same month he broke things off with Gunvalson. That is the same month Ex Wives Club filmed. So, that explains why Vicki clearly wasn’t up to the trip to the Berkshires. She got dumped days before filming. I would not have wanted to be there either. I feel bad that everyone is going to treat her like shit. Is there not one compassionate soul in that house? Steve married Janis last month. I wonder if she bought her own ring too? Call me skeptical, but I I doubt they started dating in September. Spring/Summer maybe? 🙂
So that brings me to current events with Steve Lodge, the newlywed who has one been married a few weeks. Today I received and email from a Tamara Tattles Spy straight from Puerto Vallarta. I’m going to post the entire thing here unedited.

This month I was in Puerto Vallarta with friends. We stayed at the resort next to the complex where Vicki owns her vacation home. I knew that Steve rented a room in the same complex but had no idea if he was in town. On Wednesday, June 15th the electricity was turned off at our resort by the Comisión Federal de Electricidad. We needed food and decided to walk to a restaurant on a beach next to Vicki’s complex.
We took pictures during our meal and at that time I noticed Steve walking down the road in front of the restaurant away from the beach. He didn’t see me and I made no attempt to get his attention, I did not even mention him to my friends. We went on to have lunch and drinks and when it came time to leave, my friends decided to head to the bar to get drinks to go as our resort was still without power.
The Creepy Dude At The Bar
I stayed at the table with my back to the bar, I did not see what was happening. My friends came back with drinks and were laughing telling me how there was a cheesy, pathetic older guy at the bar that was desperately trying to pick them up. They found it creepy that he was wanting to know where they were staying, and what the plans were for the evening and he even asked if they were on social media. They are not on social media, and had no idea who he was. He came on so strong that they called him creepy dude. We had a good laugh and got up to leave.
At that point, we took a few more pictures. (picture 3) While I was taking the picture with them on the beach, they started laughing again as a creepy dude was walking toward them, and he winked at them.
I did not see him approach as my back was towards him, but when he got in front of me I immediately knew it was Steve Lodge.
He was alone and I have no idea if his new girl was in town. This behavior shows that Steve enjoys keeping his options open despite his current relationship status with wife #4 and validates everything Vicki has said since the very beginning.
More Lies From Steve Lodge
This time last year, June 23rd to be exact, Vicki called me and said Steve moved home and he wanted to work on their relationship. She didn’t want to talk about it because she didn’t want to jinx anything. She cared deeply for him and truly wanted the relationship to succeed. At this time, he also announced his (failed) candidacy for governor. (picture is them with his campaign manager Randy Economy in Palm Springs that she texted me) Vicki was optimistic that things were getting back on track after a rough spot in their relationship. As her friend, I wanted her to be happy and I let her know she would have my support no matter what. I was cautiously optimistic knowing how much this meant to her.
I was in contact with Vicki the day she found out that Steve was cheating with the girl that is now his wife. He tried to portray her as refusing to accept that they were broken up a year prior, however, nothing could be further from the truth, once again proving to be #lyinglodge. No woman would knowingly have an ex move into their home, sleep in their bed, and willingly accepts them picking up girls at a bar while she is at work. He met his now wife in a bar in OC.
THOUGHTS?
I feel like the new bride is about to learn the age old adage, “How you get them is how you lose them.” Also, please do not go too hard on Vicki. She’s just trying to get her love tank filled and the Tamara Tattles Spy is a friend of Vicki’s
I wonder what Vicki’s life would be like right now if she’d just stayed with Donn and tried to work things out. She’s made some terrible choices in men since then. Both Brooks & Steve creeped me out immediately. You can tell she just wants to find true love and live happily ever after. I hope she does find that love.
I loved Donn. I hope he’s happy now, I think he deserved better than Vicki.
I went to Puerto Vallarta with my mum when I was 19 (nearly 30 years ago), she won the trip. Australians don’t often go to Mexico. We enjoyed the trip, fantastic and cheap Margaritas.
I have wondered that too. I think at the time Vickie was too infactuated with Brooks, and too immersed in a mid life crisis to see things realistically. I think that when someone is older, you cant assume its gonna be possible to get another rrlationship or marriage. Vickie threw the dice, and is having a hard time because she was really too risk averse to do what she did. She is not someone content to be alone, and I think a person has to be ok with the possibility of being alone once ypure trying to start over later on. At the time Vickie was unable to work on the marriage with Donn. She belittled him and thought she could do better, or hoped to.
Vicki says she wants to get married and her new man does not. While she understands it is WAY TOO SOON in their relationship to be talking about THEM GETTING MARRIED, she thinks if she hangs in there, he will come around. NOE VICKI. You need to find a man with shared aspirations. Some people DO NOT WANT TO MARRY. Please do not waste more time waiting for something not likely to manifest. Tempus fugit.
The HUGE red flag for me, there are many, is that this misogynistic = narcissist asshole
actually thought he could be Governor State of California. He did it so he can have fund raisers and write the expenses off from his campaign funds. Dinners, private transportation-planes, chauffeurs, clothing etc.
One problem with the email … there is no photo of Steve, not even his back. Just “the scene of the crime.” I have no trouble believing it, and if you (Tamara) can vouch for this spy’s credibility, great. But … no evidence.
She deliberately did not take photos of him. He knows her through Vicki. She was laying low. I 100 percent believe her. There were other photos and I chose not to use use them. You can trust her, (or me) or not.The ladies she was with had no idea who he was until she explained it to them afterward.
This timeline you lays out is just like I thought with all my social media stalking of Steve the asshat, Vicki, the new wife and his run for Governor.

I’ve always liked Vicki. It seems she’s a successful woman who created a great career and business from nothing. I was sad to see her leave the show. She was fun to watch! Very much unlike boring Heather.
I’m sad that none of her relationships ever worked out. When she first started with Steve I thought she finally found someone good, especially after the whole Brooks fiasco. It’s unfortunate he ended up being a terrible person.
It isn’t even as if we can say she should just stay single. How many relationships has she had since Don? Like 3-4? That’s a perfectly acceptable amount. She isn’t throwing herself around like a floozy. She just hasn’t met the right person.
Don wasn’t a saint. I remember in the earlier seasons he didn’t have much money and didn’t ever help out in the house. He was dead weight she needed to drop. He also took her hard earned money in the divorce. At least Teresa’s Joe had the grace to let her keep her earned money (yea, I know, she’s the #1 felons of Bravo, just trying to make a point here.)

Story – My deceased brother was friends with Donn. While my brother had life insurance thru his work Vicki helped him get further insurance since my brother traveled a great deal. My brother died and, as a result of his insurance coverage, my brother’s family greatly benefited. Also, Vicki turned my sister-in-law on to a good financial planner which later turned into a part-time job for her. Vicki, thru the few times I met her, was a very good person.

I do not like Vicki. I do think she has a vindictive side to her. I have felt so sorry for Briana at times because Vicki has been so controlling. Then, it had to hurt when Vicki sided with scumbag Brooks over Briana. All that being said, I don’t think she deserves what Steve Lodge did to her. I think Tamara is right that the new wife is going to find out how you get them is how you lose them. He is creepy! Sometimes I think the misery in Vicki’s life is what brings out her bad side. Hurt people hurt people. I remember in early seasons when Tamra was trying to make things work with Simon and Vicki was going off on her for being a bad friend, that if she was really a good friend she’d pick her friend over Simon. Tamra was saying “but Vicki he’s my husband.” Vicki wouldn’t let up. I thought then, damn she is really an unhappy woman. She wasn’t happy with Donn. I don’t know the ins and outs of that. Brooks used her horribly. He was a con artist. Then, along came this creep – Brooks 2.0. If a man doesn’t want a woman to be a bitch, don’t make her one. People can only be used and shit on so long until they break.
What an asshole this guy is… I never liked him. He always gave me the ick factor. Maybe she should stop being so needy and go without a man for a year and figure out what she really wants and not what she thinks she should have. I’m married now for like 30 years and I love my guy but honestly? I’d be just fine with my cats. Especially my black cat Casper, who alerted me that there was a bat in the house when we got to Tahoe!! I flipped out but Casper persisted, alerting us to where he was. We ended up locking the bat in the bedroom and the bat guy came out in the morning and got him. Once again, husband didn’t notice but Casper did! Stick with animals….

Just a bit of clarification on Steve Lodge’s run for Governor during the recall. He and Vicki met with Randy Economy to discuss Steve’s run. Randy was allegedly Steve’s campaign manager when Steve announced around June 29, 2021. By July 26, Randy Economy was Doug Ose’s campaign manager with no trace in any bio left that he ever had been called Steve’s campaign manager. In fact, he denied it at one point saying he was only advising him informally.
With Steve going on the campaign trail with Vicki and filming most of his position statements from her home if we take his December break up date as truth then he was traveling with her looking to the outside world “as a couple” while she was still wearing the ring.
