I’m a little bit behind on this Below Deck Sailing Yacht recap because I have been watching all the RHOM on my DVR and I thought I was watching the new season, but I was actually watching season three. How did this show ever get cancelled? It is so good! As soon as I finish this I’m going to binge all the RHOM shows on DVR. They were on so long ago I don’t even have to watch commercials. Okay, let’s see how much drama Gary, AKA Austen of the sea stirs up tonight!
We pick up with the boat race and of course everything is going to fly everywhere. So far the other boat is winning. Eventually, they manage to pull out the win. I like these guests. Somehow they manage to pack their own luggage and nothing needed steaming. They were very kind when they left. They left a nice tip.
I’m Not Doing Anything Wrong!
Ashley and Gary talk about their boatmance, or lack thereof. Ashley is clearly pissed that is going to move on to the next, who just so happens to be, Scarlett. At dinner, Gary begins making his moves and Scarlett is trying to play hard to get. Barnaby is narrating the whole thing. He’s kind of funny, Daisy finds out that Scarlett and Gary have already kissed on the boat. She tells her to do what she wants but don’t come bitching to her when it bites her in the ass. Scarlett gets irritated with Daisy. Gary sure knows how to make all the females on the boat hate each other.
Daisy goes to smoke a cigarette and Scarlett tells Gary she wants to leave, so they go for a chat. Scarlett runs on the them on the way back to their table and sits down to console Scarlett. Daisy tells her that she is sorry and should not have said things the way she did. She reassures her that she is on her side. Scarlett goes for a walk to collect herself. Then Barnaby arrives with what I presume are Daisy and Scarlett’s drinks. He is there
for the gossip to console Daisy who feels awful. On the van ride home, Barnaby asked Daisy for a kiss. The first attempt doesn’t got so well. She spills her wine all over him. But, they finally share a rather long smooch. These poor van drivers must HATE them.
Besos Para Todos!
Apparently, before they had back to the boat, they are off for more drinking. Most all of them are already wasted. Barnaby and Gary make out on the street. That was not me getting my names confused. 🙂 I was wrong about them going to another bar. They were in fact heading to the boat. Let the suck and fuck begin! UGH. Daisy is sort of bartending. She tells Gary she will fuck him if he will just stop whining. WTF? Then, Daisy and Ashley start talking about how she upset Scarlett at dinner. Is there anyone that Daisy hasn’t whined about this to? At the same time Gary is making out with Scarlett and he says, “I want to have sex with you.” What a romantic he is.
Scarlett says that he is charming. Wow, that is what the kids find charming these days? But, Scarlett says she is not going to sleep with him tonight and heads to her cabin. We have a full half hour to go so I am not believing that they all just go to bed separately. Perhaps he will crawl in bed with Daisy. Or not. They actually all slept in their own beds!
A Storm Is Brewing
The next morning, Gary, Kelsie and Barnaby are up early cleaning the deck. Kelsie is not hungover and she just wants to get everything done. There is a big storm coming so they rush to get the boat to a nice big cove that could allow them to get out the water toys. Daisy is flirty with…. wait for it… wait for it…Gary and gives him a quick kiss. SIGH.
The new guests are a new engaged couple. They are foodies who have eaten at many Michelin Star restaurants and like Japanese food and molecular gastronomy. Do they realize that they are on a boat, the supplies are ordered and it’s a very small galley with one chef? The guests are calling Ashley, Smashley. It’s like they know her. All the guests are Canadians so they should be pretty chill. They have a blast on the rope swing. Two hours before one of the most challenging dinners ever, Marcos gets very sad phone call. His mother texted him to let him know that his best friend’s mother died. He is like a brother to him and part of his family. He can’t get a signal to call home. He’s very distraught. I feel so badly for him!
