We got a brand new season of 90 day Fiance last night (not really last night because I forgot about this post because I was still hunting down pictures. It’s pretty much all new people except for Biniyam & Arilea who have returned to the states together. While looking for photos I found out a lot of tea. Apparently, Memphis is abusive to Hazma and has thrown him out of the house with no money and no place to live. Can she do that? WOW. So let’s do a 90 Day Fiance Recap.
Bilal & Shaeeda
Bilal, 42, is a neat freak and seems to be living large. He is also Muslim since birth. He is a realtor and a real estate investor. We see him showing his ex-wife a home. His fiancée, Shaeeda, 37, is from Trinidad and is also Muslim. This seems like a good match. She is moving from Trinidad to Kansas City? Wow. that’s a big change. Bilal has two young kids with his ex-wife and he has joint custody with his wife. He seems like a great dad. Shaeeda wants to have a baby. Bilal would rather not.
It’s time for Shaeeda to arrive. Bilal is driving to pick her up in a work van. And he is taking her to his childhood home and not where he lives now. It’s kind of dilapidated. That seems a bit extreme. This will not end well. This kind of “test” or “prank” on a woman you proposed to after seven days together is not a prank, it’s a lie. What kind of grown man does this?
Kara & Guillermo
Kara, 29, is from Charlottesville Virginia she makes giant balloon garlands. Who knew that was a thing? She met Guillermo, 23, while she was working in the Dominican Republic where he was a waiter. Kara is flying to the Dominican Republic to fly back with Guillermo who will be attempting to fly on an expired visa. Apparently, the US and Venezuela have some sort of an arrangement during Covid where his visa should be sufficient. Maybe. Kinda.
These two seem really in love with each other. They are a very cute couple. Side note, probably the best looking guy I ever dated was some sort of Venezuelan royalty or something.
Jibri & Miona
Jibri, lives in Rapid City, South Dakota with his parents and seems very young. He fancies himself as a singer/entertainer. He’s really not very good at singing. But hey, it seems like people like his band, The Black Serbs, in Serbia. He has been there more than ten times and the band performs there. His parents are not really down with the plan. He doesn’t seem to think he should have to mow the lawn and do things to help his parents out. Miona wants to live in LA, not South Dakota. She seems to think she is going to live like the Kardashians. This does not bode well.
Jibri is doing a lot to get ready for Miona. He bought a a clothes rack for Miona. Apparently, she has called Jibri stupid and her mom heard it. She is worried about how Miona dresses on her Instagram. Jibri’s mom wants to be sure that Miona needs to dress modestly in her house and watch her mouth. Miona seems like a real bitch who is expecting to be given everything she wants. SPOILER ALERT: These two have been married for at least two years. Now all of his trips to Serbia make sense. Also, Black Twitter is saying that Miona is “not black,” “she’s white” and is “blackfishing.” I’m not sure of the racial makeup of Serbia. But there are photos on Twitter with her with various skin tones. (Regarding Spoilers: Please not Spoilers in comments regarding who is still together and who is not.)
Emily & Coby
Emily is 29 and lives in Salina, Kansas. She has at horse and seems to live on a farm. She has traveled a lot and met Coby,34, when she was teaching English in China for two months. He’s from Cameroon and is an international underwear model. I’m not sure where in Kansas he is going to model underwear. She managed to get pregnant while over there. Emily lives with her parents. Coby was denied a visitor visa and missed the birth of the baby. Then, Covid happened. They have been apart for two years. The baby is 17 months old and has never met his father. He is also adorable.
We didn’t get any of Bini and Ari on the first episode.
