It’s time to check out what is going on off the Spanish coast tonight. We are down a deckhand after last week and the deck seemed to be struggling then. Will things get even worse without Tom there are will it not make a difference? Will these idiot women still continue to fight over Gary? Gary?! Really? Check out this Below Deck Sailing Yacht Recap to find out.
We pick up with Gary and Daisy fighting again about the guests getting up at the butt crack of dawn and the stews not being up. Really all Kelsie had to do was either make the coffee and shut up about it, and/or wake up Daisy and let her know that the guests were up. Why is everything such a huge argument? I have never had avocado toast but it sounds delicious. Add on some grapefruit and jalepenos and I am all in! Although, as I get older jalepenos are sadly not my friend. But, I cook with them a lot anyway and just suffer through if you know what I mean. Sorry TMI.
Time To Say Goodbye
The deck crew got new, bigger fenders due to the bad weather. It’s time for this fun charter group to leave. Gabriella and Ashely are helping the deck crew with getting the new fenders in place. Gabriella has actually been a deck hand before. They are all struggling with the new fenders. The ropes are not long enough. It’s a disaster. But ultimately, it all worked out just fine. #teamwork The guests rave about the crew and probably left a great tip. Captain Glenn brags on Kelsie for making him comfortable while she was on night watch. Gary thanks the stew for all of their help. The tip was $21,000 that’s $2,530 dollars each! These tips always blow my mind.
Off we go to party on shore. Marcos wants to shoot even higher for the next charter. Why is no one going after Marcos? Daisy tries to make up with Gary. And it works. Meanwhile, Marcos was trying to share and Gabriella starts picking at him. Why are they bickering? Gabriella storms off from the table over something in my opinion, SHE STARTED. Daisy goes to comfort Gabriella. They head home and Ashley makes out with drunk Gary in the van. Back on the boat, most people get in the hot tub. Gary turns in early as he is exhausted. Everyone else gets even more wasted. Gabriella drunkenly crawls into Gary’s bunk waking him up. Jesus. Every week this guy gives me Austen Kroll vibes. it just makes no sense. Colin asks Ashley why they are fighting over Gary. She says they aren’t. They so are.
Yay! Maybe Ashley Will Have To Go Home!
Daisy finally wrangles Ashley who is wasted, into bed. Then Ashley takes a header off the top bunk. That looked painful. Daisy hears the thud from her cabin and goes to check on her. She decides she is fine and goes back to bed. The next morning Gabriella makes the walk of shame back to her cabin. But she is a bit late for work. Like five whole minutes. She apologizes to Daisy. But, Daisy is pissed about all the alcohol and things getting out of hand with both of her stews. At the preference meeting, Marcos learns that the female primary is a vegan. He would rather it be all of them or none. It looks like the new deckhand will not be her for this charter.
Wait, WHAT? Gabriella wants to quit? Oh hell no! And Ashley is the first person she tells? These too actually hug it out and Ashley promises she will not mention this to Daisy. So, of course she will. Then we see her apologizing to Gary for always sneaking into his bed for a cuddle. It seems like maybe Gabriella wants to move to the deck at minimum. I don’t think we have ever had two female deckhands. Gabriella tells Ashley she wants to finish the charter. She doesn’t mention angling for a deckhand spot.
Time To Meet The Guests!
With five minutes until the guests arrive, Gabriella drops the tray with all the champagne glasses flying everywhere. They want lunch at four and dinner at nine? Why??? The water is rough and some of the crew are feeling seasick. This season has so much drama! Yet we are going to sail? Everything in the galley is flying around. So are the cushions on the boat. Why is this a good idea? The sliding glass door start banging in to each other and Gary’s hand gets caught in between them. Gary runs into his cabin and screams.
Next time: Ashley rats out Gabriella to Daisy just like I knew she would. It looks like Gabriella might go home next week. Unless, maybe Captain Glenn could put her on as the deckhand.
