I tried to start this Below Deck Sailing Yacht recap last night but could not do it. I feel like dog shit and I need to find something I will eat. My inability to eat is rather frightening and I’m sure contributes to the fact that I have no energy. Anyway, I’ll see what I can do with this episode. Tonight’s recaps may be late as well. I’m going to TRY to get them done.
One minute in and I am already confused as to who is screwing who. It looks like Daisy and Gary in the hot tub. Also, Ashley (ew) and Tom in a guest cabin. Then, mornings comes and the day of regret begins. Daisy apparently doesn’t remember a thing. Or so she says. But, there were plenty of witnesses. The new charter guests are mostly a family of adults. They have high expectations for the food. Kelsie has to redo all of Ashley’s bed. Tom gets a phone call that his best friends dad is in ICU and might not make it. They are very close. 🙁
Chef Marcos gets to work on a birthday cake for one of the charter guests. They all get to bed early for the next charter. Ashley continues to complain that Gabriela gives her lists. That is because she doesn’t do anything unless she is told to! Even then Gabriela has to go back in and redo things! I don’t understand while Daisy is waiting until after the charter to deal with this situation. One of the male charter guests literally passes out during the middle of dinner and missed the whole cake. Colin and Gary brought out cake slices shirtless for Bunny, the designated cougar. It takes three of guys to get the birthday boy to his cabin.
The beach setup goes horribly as usual. Ashley and Kelsie are disastrous, and the guests are on the way. Why isn’t there a male deck person there to help with the heavy lifting. Gabriela is mortified when she arrives with the guests. Nothing is ready. Not one thing. The guests are disappointed because there is not enough wind to sail. But later that night, the wind gets really scary and things are flying everywhere. Everyone loves dinner. And goes off to bed. The deck crew is up all night cleaning the deck. About five thirty in the morning, alarms go off. They are dragging anchor and the winds are over 30 knots. Shit is flying everywhere! YIKES!
P.S. There is a problem with my server and it’s almost impossible to upload photos. It may go down for maintenance. 🙁
