Thank God this season of RHOSLC is coming to an end and this is the last RHOSLC recap of the season! It’s been an exhausting season. And I think it’s all going to hit the fan tonight. I’m so not ready. It’s been a weird day and I didn’t get a damn thing done. I probably will not get to Kandi and The Gang tonight, and will work on Killing Eve tomorrow, hopefully when I have more brain power. I really need My American Idol time with Banjo tonight. Also, for everyone out there with anxiety and depression and feeling some type of way about it. You are not alone. Try not to self shame about it. I’m working on that part. Today is a depression day, which is better than anxiety. Kinda.
We begin tonight with the arrival of the husbands. But, before they take the stage, Lisa Barlow tries to mend things with Meredith. Meredith is not really here for insincere apologies. Then, Lisa tries to suck up to Heather and Meredith. That doesn’t go so well either. When the show starts Whitney and her husband talk about her investing so much money in her new business. Her beauty line is doing great. Then we talk about Seth being obsessed with Whitney’s breasts. Finally, things take a more serious turn. Seth talks about how Meredith played through the pain of the loss of her father. Seth and Meredith both cry. I did think it was awful how ugly they were to Meredith this season after such a difficult loss.
Lisa apologizes to Meredith again. Duey says there have been not applications received for a sister wife. He still wants more children even though Jenny has had NINE miscarriages. He’s crying. That’s two of the four men crying already! Almost all of the housewives are crying. Even Jen. Duey stupidly defends his desire for a sister wife as if it is a business and he wants “results” aka more kids. Jenny sent him to counseling.
Oh we are finally getting to the good part. Andy asks Sharrieff where was when he heard about Jen’s arrest. He said he was being examined medically and “one of his assistants” had his phone and called Jen. WAIT WHAT? Why does an assistant football coach need “assistants”? And why would they go to the doctor with him? The smells like bullshit already! Then, 25 minutes (that’s very specific, not like saying about a half an hour later) he got a call from Homeland security and his heart just stopped. They are both lying. These stories don’t make sense. He says his “assistant” called her. But, she answered the phone, “Hello, baby.” She was totally tipped off. Andy is not following this story either.
More Lies From Jen and Sharrieff
Let me see if I can find what I posted about an interview with the Uber Driver who took Jen from Heather’s House to meet her lover. That one is not it. That’s for a fundraiser for Jen though so I am leaving it and going to search again. Here it is. Go Listen to the Uber Driver interview with all the tea on her cheating. On the footages she says, “I need to go to the house?” and then she says she has to go to the hospital. I don’t believe either of them. If anything at this point I think Sharrieff complicit. Andy keeps trying to make sense of their lies. It’s impossible. Then, Andy asks Sharrieff if he ever wondered where all the money was coming from.
Andy will not let this topic go and I am here for it. Andy asks Sharrieff is there was every a time where he questioned Jen and asked her if she was doing anything illegal. He says no. He says he told her this was going to be tough and whatever it was they will get through it. Jen is pissed that Whitney has her number. Jen brings up that Whitney’s husband was accused of running a pyramid scheme. He says the lawsuit was from four years ago. His name was removed from it. It was never resolved and is in limbo.
This Is Apparently Happening To Jen Because She Is “Brown”
Then Jen plays the race card. Why is it the brown girl who everyone is questioning her finances. Um, sweetie. NO ONE WAS DOING THAT UNTIL HOMELAND SECURITY AND NINE OTHER BRANCHES OF THE LAW ARRESTED YOU! Other than that, people just mused about what exactly her business was. Then Jen starts spouting off all of Sharrieff’s degrees and points out that he was an attorney for thirteen years and was an NFL agent. What does that have to do with her being an alleged crook? Sharrieff was disappointed that Lisa didn’t reach out to Lisa after the arrest. He was happy that Heather did reach out to him. Sharrieff says that Jen barely gets out of bed.
Her sons encourage to to get out of bed. He is going to be there at the trial “to the extent he is able to.” really? And then the guys leave the stage. Lisa hugged Heather and Whitney during the break. Lisa is so fake. Heather felt like Lisa would come in contrite, but instead she talked about how great of a person she is. Back to Jen talking about her arrest. She was shocked by the charges. Andy asks her why she gave Bravo the Ring footage of the cops with her sons. She says it is important for everyone to know how black people are treated in America. It was really horrific footage. Those poor boys. Jen says she has not spoken to Stu Chains since the arrest. She is now trying to backtrack saying that she and Stu are not business partners.
Let’s Keep Interrogating Jen!
Andy says that Stu has basically rolled on Jen. She says she can’t comment on his guilty plea. We see that footage of Jen and Stu chains pledging their undying friendship. Then we move on to Whitney and others questioning what Jen does for a living and how she makes so much money. Whitney says she never questioned her success. Jen said in her casting interview that she spends $50,000 a month on….”things.” Andy questions how Whitney knows so much about the ins and out of the case. Jen gets into it with Whitney and Heather for not supporting her. BECAUSE SHE IS GOING TO GO TO PRISON FOR YEARS!
Heather says she is literally the only person that shows up for her. And Jen is horrible to her. Jen calls Lisa a bitch multiple times. FINALLY a point of agreement between me and Jen Shah! Jen is asked about the Uber event again and her story CLEARLY doesn’t match what the Uber Driver Said. The southern district of New York has a 98% conviction rate. She is going to prison. Finally, Andy mentions the interview with the Uber driver. Jen says that is a lie. No, no it is not if you haven’t seen it click the link! It’s juicy! Jen denies being flagged from Louis Vuitton.
Jen Wants To Bring Her Husband Out Again
WTF Is the Story with Heather’s right leg in this photo and why did NBCu Media choose this out of all the professional reunion photos????
Meredith and Heather both talk about they mysterious nasty messages they got from Jen. Meredith says that is why she hired the PI who is apparently a cyber specialist. Meredith’s sons both got them. One was very long, the other was not. But, they were threatening. The PI thinks it is was Jen. Because they were contacting everyone in the cast other than Jen. Heather says that she believes in Jen and she will be in court with her pulling for her. Andy points out the 98% conviction rate. She says that is because people take plea deals because they can’t afford to fight it. She is going to fight it. Also, she is going to Camp Cupcake.
At the break, Jen is crying and Heather is hugging her and comforting her. I love Heather but she has to know Jen is guilty as sin. That said, Heather is a ride or die friend and Jen needs to appreciate her. At this point Andy wants to move on. He says to Jen that there is one charge that is 30 years and one that is 20. She says she doesn’t know. Bullshit. How do you not know how much time you are looking at? Also he said the trial is this month, but it was moved to I believe July. Come on Court TV! Are those safety pins making the bling on the front of her dress? Andy asks if she will be at the reunion next year and she says of course.
Andy asks about their biggest takeaway from the season. Heather basically says that everyone makes mistakes and everyone is redeemable. Jennie says she learned she needs to speak her mind more. Whitney learned to believe in herself and have opinions. Meredith says it is important not to let thing fester and to deal with things when it happened Lisa says says she has a very hard time being vulnerable and people don’t see what a good person she is. Oh for Fuck sake. And she cried. Jen Shah learned that she is stronger than she thought she would. And how much love she has with her family.
Then everyone gets a churro, and with that, it’s only for months until the trial! I love me a good trial!
