Well damn, the title for this week’s TAR 33 Recap seems ominous. Also, the clips on Paramount were kind of spoilery! I my just have to keep going with the photos I have! But this is a recap, I am excited to do. I love this show! Let’s get straight to it!
We are back in Switzerland. I am kind of shocked that they allowed them to film there. They have generally had very strict Covid restrictions. However, that make it a safe country to film in because the Swiss people are all smart enough to get vaccinated and wear masks. Unlike, the morons that live in America. Oh, I guess the scenes on the mat were from last week. I am still going to use them though because that little girl was totally pissed off in every photo, and I love it.
This week we finally get to the part where people leave in the order of their arrival at the pit stop last week. Ryan and Dusty and Penn and Kim are the first two teams to go. The rest will also depart in 15 minute intervals. UGH I am worried about some of my favorites being in the back. It looks like we are going to start with the 722 foot bungee jump. Oh fuck noe. I quit. Thanks, Phil it has been fun. That would me my response. The clue just said, who wants to get down. Kim and Penn thought it was dancing so Kim has to do it. It’s a two and a half hour drive. That could be problematic. People get lost a lot on this show.
The twins and the flight attendants are out next. I think. I still haven’t learned everyone yet. Then it is Akbar and Sheri. Sheri automatically has to do the challenge because Akbar is over the weight limit. Poor Sheri. She has to do all the crappy ones, Arun and Natalie, neither of which can navigate, are also in this group. The stunning beauty of Switzerland never ceases to amaze. At least they get to jump with the Travelocity gnome?! Kim is terrified. Penn gets super emotional when she jumped. This is the stupidest thing people do “for fun.” It’s a no for me dog. Bless Sheri’s heart. I’m feeling it for her again this week. But she does it! I love Sherri! Wait? There are only six teams left? Everyone makes the bungee jump.
Bartender Race Or Sausage In Case?
Um I’d go with making sausages? Ryan and Dusty are in the lead again with Kim and Penn right on their heels. They choose bartender race. That apparently has them going up a 400 foot staircase, TWICE to get twelve bottles of wine and twelve servings of chestnuts up the stairs. The other task is making sausage. I would have made the right choice. I think the stairs will be harder than even the bungee jump. And, I am out of breath just looking at the stairs. They should change their choice. This is ridiculous. Once again, Arun and Natalia are lost. They went an hour out of the way!
The twins are on the sausage challenge. The flight attendants are also still trying to find the clue. Kim and Penn take the stair challenge. Again, this is a mistake. The twins are doing well with the sausage challenge. OH NO! Akbar and Sheri are doing the stairs challenge! Akbar is already whining. I hate Akbar. Ryan and Dusty complete the stairs challenge. Next they have to figure out where the pit stop is based on a photo. The twins did great on the sausage challenge. They are currently in second place. The flight attendants also do sausages. Sheri is dying on the stairs. Akbar is an asshole as usual when she drops a bottle of wine. She should file for divorce the second she gets home.
The Final Stretch
I missed who was in second but Kim and Penn are in third. Ryan and Dusty come in first and win a trip to Dominica. The twins come in second! Then Penn and Kim com in third. I feel like this show should be two hours instead of one. It all seems very rushed. The flight attendants get tripped up on the sausages. I’m not sure what went wrong. They looked good to me. Somehow Akbar and Sherri complete the stairs. I’d be dead. Then the flight attendants get their sausages done. Akbar finally carries the backpacks for both of them. They are still in the race.
Sadly, Arun and Natalia are in last place. I hope it is a nonelimination round. And it is! YAY! They will be leaving last for the next leg. By themselves. Next week, we move on to Corsica, France. It looks like they may be making cheese??? I’m down for it all. Thanks for reading and I look forward to your comments.
