Sorry for the delay with the Below Deck recap. I was busy drinking and watching my Bulldawgs clinch the national championship. How ‘Bout Them Dawgs! Also, Below Deck did not record so I’ll be speed recapping from the on demand version as more of discussion post.
Hmm, it is not on demand either. Guess I have to watch on my laptop this make recapping at total PITA. The episode begins with Rayna and Jake basking in the afterglow of their sex session. Jake denies hooking up with her. But, no one is happier with the lie than Fraser. Bless his heart. Next we have a preference sheet meeting. The primary is a navy guy. They have few issues on their preference sheet. Also, Heather’s new stew is arriving. Fraser is not happy that the new stew is already friends with Heather. He is worried he will be left out. Heather is kind of bitchy about it.
What Is Going On With Rayna?
Eddie gets to drive the boat away from the dock. He’s nervous but he did great! I love the guests and the guests love the food and are very happy. Captain Lee is pissed that the guests are gone way far away from the boat. Nobody was watching them. Also, he pissed that Eddie is working as a deckhand. It’s about time someone noticed that. That has been happening all season. Also, Captain Lee is pissed with Rayna and her constant eyerolls and Wes who he caught texting on the job.
At dinner the guests all suddenly want different proteins. Rachel is pissed. Also, one of the female guests is just determined to be miserable. Then, Captain Lee talks to Eddie again the next day about the deck crew. He fells like Eddie needs to get control of the deckhands. I sense drama ahead. Rayna got to pull anchor. She did a great job. Captain Lee personally congratulated her on a job well done. All is right in the world, right? Wrong. For some reason Rayna is mad and crying at the same time. They can’t just “flip the script” like that. WFT? Finally there is a positive moment for the crew and she’s pissed about that too? IDGI?
Neither does Captain Lee and Eddie who overheard her conversation with Wes because apparently someone’s walkie talkie was open. So much drama. Next week, the new stew arrives and Fraser doesn’t seem to have good intentions.
