The ladies are all on holiday hiatus, filming picks back up the first week of January. The first half of Season 14 taping has turned out to be one of the best in recent memory. Let’s see if the ladies can keep up the momentum for the second half. The theme for this season is authenticity. There are few notable moments that have taken place…
Kenya Is the Center Peach
Kenya is by far the center peach. She is being more transparent. This season documents her picking up the pieces after her whirlwind relationship with Marc Daly dissolved. She’s still doing the absolute most per usual, but it just feels a lot less self-produced and more that she is standing up for herself and holding the other ladies accountable. Most notable, she is this season’s fact checker: when someone presents information to the group that seems questionable Kenya is calling them out and pulling out receipts. She has been part of some scenes that will definitely go down in the RHOA hall of fame, one for example, is her blow-out “come to Jesus” conversation with Drew early in the season. Let’s just say Drew isn’t pressed to go at it with Kenya anymore.

The third time must be the charm for Sheree who is giving it her all. After Tyrone bailed on taping this season Sheree has went into high gear to keep her story interesting and to keep her job. She’s working on She by Sheree and even being vocal about her financial strains. Yes, she is still filming at that monstrosity she calls her chateau, but after all these years in the public eye, she finally feels open enough to show who Sheree Whitfield really is. The former bone collector is now trying to fix her life, let’s hope none of her own carefully buried bones make an appearance on the show.
Drew Is this Season’s Punching Bag
After realizing her place in the group was in jeopardy after Porsha didn’t sign on for season 14, Drew immediately went to work to get her story up to par with heavy hitters like Sheree and Marlo. What she didn’t know is that Sheree doesn’t want to lose this pay check for a third time. Sheree immediately found Drew to be disingenuous and that she seemed to be very elitist especially pertaining to her career. One one particular blow-out argument, Sheree pressed Drew about gossip about her husband. Although Drew stood her ground, this altercation made the newcomers see her as the groups punching bag. Drew is down with all of the theatrics this season, she goes for the jugular and has to be removed from set after arguments. This makes me sad, I like Drew.
Marlo is part of a lot of drama. When she got her pick-up letter and confirmation that she would be a first time peach holder, she confided in Nene who told her that the only way she will keep it is to bring Kenya down. She’s been vocalizing Kenya’s behind-the-scenes misdeeds and gossip about various ladies and even has pressured Kenya to do some damage control before the information gets back to the rest of the ladies. Marlo’s place in the group has never been more solidified. Her name comes up in every scene and she’s not backing down.
Sanya Tries To Hang In There
Newbie Sanya has come in hot. She’s gone for blows with Drew and calls Sheree out for doing the absolute most on the first ladies trip. Sanya is a firecracker. She’s best described as the person who won’t start the fire but she’ll definitely add gasoline to it. Best thing to come for her so far is that she has an amazing family, beautiful home and handsome husband. She has all of the criteria that a Bravo housewife needs, but can she break through the clutter with big personalities like Kenya, Marlo and Sheree? Let’s hope she brings an it factor for the second part of taping to survive long term.
And as always Kandi is playing the safe route and being cordial with everyone. She’s working, and basically facilitating a lot of the group dynamics. Kandi is basically the show’s matriarch.
Sheree’s friend Fatum Alford will make several recurring appearances. RHOA season 14 is expected to premiere in the spring. I don’t need Sheree to have “friends.”
It seems the suits are quite pleased with this show. But didn’t they also like Vanderpump Rules and RHOC? Le Sigh. Thanks to those of you reading the archives in my absence. Some of you are discovering my court case with Sheree Whitfield for the first time. It’s a must read if I do say so myself. Hit the link to all the Sheree court cases. You will need to scroll all the way back through her many other court cases after me to start from the beginning. Thanks for sticking around while I take a mini break. I’m slowly coming around.
Sounds like it’s going to be an interesting season. Thanks for the update.
I am looking forward to the new season! RHOA was a snoozer. I’m excited it’s returning to its glory.
RHOA still has steam left and I for sure hope this upcoming season put all naysayers to rest and come back full swing and be one for the books.
Kandi
Drew
Sheree
Kenya
Sanya
Marlo
Sounds interesting! Last season’s Bolo drama was complete $h!t. We need a better season. Thank you for the update!
Sounds like the ATL crew is coming in strong. Let’s hope that the season lives up to the hype! Tamara, really hope that you’re getting into see a doctor sooner rather than later. Enjoy this downtime during the holidays. Here’s wishing you a very Happy New Year!
Definitely sounds like an interesting season but time will tell. I know production has tried to keep things hush but Kenya can’t keep her mouth shut and has to leak information for some reason every season she’s on. With Nene and Falynn in the news every other week, I’m sure the network is hoping next season is a success, since they didn’t ask neither to come back.
Looking forward to the season. And breaks are good for the soul. We all need them from time to time.
I hope the suits’s excitement for the next season isn’t a bust like their excitement for Porsha’s shitty show.
This part. I’ll believe it when I see it (or read about it here, because I’m not sure I’m tuning in yet).
When you take your breaks I always wander back to the “deplorables” post. It always amazes me that all that shit happened while you were in surgery.
This is probably an improved direction but it’s likely too late . The premiere might have decent viewers ratings , out of curiosity , but I doubt viewers will remain for the long haul . Kenya and Nene spoilt my enjoyment of RHOA and Kenya now willing to be “ authentic” and Sheree willing to put more energy into “She by Sheree “ which she launched more than 10 years ago shows the desperation of this franchise . Another season of feuding led by Kenya , former housewives returning and new faces vying for the limelight to ensure a return next season is now so cliche . I’ll wait for TT’s recaps.
Is Sheree exposing the rumour that Drews husband got some oral services from a transgender prostitute in Tampa? Apparently he didn’t know.
Does SOURCE have any take on who will be given the villain edit? Is it Drew? Or will Kenya take that prize again
Looking forward to it!! Thanks for the tea 🫖!!
Ooh, I was about to pass on RHOA but now I’ll give it a peek. Bring on the fun. Vanderpool has really jumped the shark. But I disagree, RHOC is good with Ms. Fancy pants back. I can’t stand Tammara but she is such a good shit stirrer. They need her back for an Epic Shannon show down!
Hmm no tea on Monyetta yet? Must be a snooze. Did store explicitly state who the “friends of” this season would be?
As of October, this was the situation, however these things can change. There is a lot more info if you click the RHOA link in the link bar at the top of every page. https://tamaratattles.com/category/rhoa/
She went on the trip to the mountains or wherever they went.
I feel nervous about this season. I have trouble believing the Sheree and Kenya will actually be authentic on camera. Although I do enjoy laughing at the delusions of grandeur that Sheree tries to sell.
I love Kandi but I wish she got involved sometimes. More recently it always feels like she isn’t really invested or cares about being there.
If Drew is overly extra like the end of last season they can fire her now.
i see my comment didnt land, because i dont go with the flow, i have my own thoughts…
