Felons By Bravo: Jen Shah Reacts To Hulu Documentary

December 2, 2021 by tamaratattles 9 Comments

In case you missed Aldleft’s intrepid reporting on The Jen Shah Hulu Documentary, click here first!  It seems Jen Shah watched it and she seems to think it will get her case dismissed. BWAHAHAHAHAHA.

According to new legal docs, obtained by TMZ  “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star says the streaming service interviewed two specials agents from Homeland Security for a new documentary, where they gave out details about the investigation that weren’t publicly available and opined on Shah, offering lots of commentary on the “lavish lifestyle” of “fraudsters.”

Jen claims Agent Rick Patel specifically commented on the circumstances surrounding her arrest and says Agent Agnieszka Norman made “highly prejudicial” statements about her allegedly hiding money in offshore accounts, even going so far as to suggest the origin of the case against Shah came from an investigation into a narcotics smuggling ring.

RHOSLC RecapFederal Agents Connect Jen Shah To Drug Dealer

I think this was the part really pissed her off, here is how Aldleft reported on what Agent Agnieszka said:

U.S. Department of Homeland Security Special Agent Agnieska Norman explained how Homeland Security launched “Operation Double Down” in New York in 2016. Once they learned that Arash Ketabchi, whom they arrested on separate drug charges, was also revealed to be part of a larger telemarketing fraud operation. Katersky and Jacob Mitchell, one of the defense attorneys who worked on the United States v. Ketabchicase, had even more to share. Namely, that this telemarketing operation “sold nonexistent products and services” through multiple companies.

Eric Peterson, founder of the Utah Investigative Journalism Project, explained how they lured in victims.  They used “Work from Home!” Facebook ads. Then, they  used decoy websites to collect victims’ information and sold victims’ information to each other. Then, they all took turns selling victims fraudulent “business development” products.

RHOSLC RecapAccording to the documents obtained by TMZ:

In the docs, Jen says the agents’ statements on the ABC News doc “The Housewife and the Shah Shocker” destroyed any chance of her getting a fair trial by tainting the jury pool because the program is full of opinions that will lead people to presume she’s guilty.

Shah not only wants permission to file a motion to dismiss the indictment against her, but she also wants to hit the feds with sanctions and wants the judge to order them to hand over any other info about any other collaborations prosecutors and the feds might have with the media regarding her case.

Yeah sure Jen, ROFLMAO. The jury pool is up to your attorneys to weed through. They can use their jury strikes on people who have seen the documentary. Lots of high profile cases have jury trials where prejudicial information was all over TV. Welcome to the OJ Simpson, Kyle Rittenhouse, Tom Girardi club. If she wants to file a motion to dismiss, that is done multiple times by most defense attorneys. The hubris of wanting to “sanction the feds” is amusing she doesn’t get to do that. Judges do that. And investigators give interviews regarding high profile cases all the time. Judges won’t do anything about that. It’s called freedom of speech. And your boy Stu Chainz is doing a lot of speaking. So, practice taking a shower without dropping the soap.

I just remembered the scene where Jen and Stuart were in the jewelry store shopping for snake designed pieces for her to give to her group of friends. Did they ever show a scene where she was actually giving these gifts to the other women?
I wonder how quickly the judge will deny this motion!

I kept waiting for her to present those gifts too and if she had, I’m sure Bravo would of filmed it.
I’m pretty sure she’s not giving out presents now 😉

This is the only hope she has against SDNY. She is a despicable human being.

I was researching this and some idiot opined that she could actually get off by saying she was merely selling leads, what happened after that was up to them. Um, how did you get YOUR MONEY?!! Wow, there is really a huge payout for giving people leads? Like $50,000/month worth? Damn, I’m in the wrong business. What a giant crock of shite. And yes this motion will be denied. And it surely doesn’t help that she has shown herself to be a giant cunt. “The jury pool will be tainted because they saw me behaving like an animal!” Welcome to the real world-

This is the question we all have Joyce. WTF? Dana Wilkey? Didn’t she have her own legal problems?

Awww..I like Dana $25,000 Wilke. I thought she was funny on RHOBH.
That Jen thinks she can leverage the feds is both hilarious and delusional.
