While doing setups for tonight’s RHOSLC Recap, I noticed that you guys actually comment the more on the RHOP posts than these. I assumed it was the other way around. I also thought that tonight was the episode that we finally catch up in time to when Jen gets arrested. But alas that doesn’t seem to be the case. The episode description this week does sound juicy though! Lisa comes for Jen and Meredith is warned about Mary’s cult. So, I’m in for now.
Do. Not. Question. ME!
We start with Stuart and Jen committing federal crimes. Then we are on to Mary, Whitney and Heather going out for an Italian meal. Mary is so weird. The topic is Lisa. While I am down with all the Lisa hate. Mary cries because Lisa questions her. No one should question her either. If she says it, it is the law. Maybe in the cult, Mary, but not in the real world. BTW, during the sob story about how her mother cut her off 25 years ago when she married Grandpa, all I could think about is all the family members saying that her grandmother never ever suggested that she marry Grandpa. It’s all lies. Lies that need to be questioned. Why are Mary’s eyes always bulging?
Next we see Lisa’s sons business. They are children. But they are working to make money for foster children. They are having some sort of fundraiser it seems? For now it is a photography shoot for their mens care line? It’s called Fresh Wolf. So Jen crashes the party wearing an actual wolf’s head hat. Take that PETA! Jen jumps right into the photo shoot. Lisa brings up Heather to Jen. Making Heather out to be someone that isn’t her friend.
Lisa Barlow Is A Lying Liar Who Lies!
Then Lisa brings up the designer that Jen used to have. She tells a very odd story that is nothing like what the designer said. All of her staff have proof that she was abusive. Both of those links have leaked audio that back up what the employees said in Jen’s own voice. The crap that Lisa is spewing is all lies. All of the other cast members besides Jen and Lisa are telling the real story. Jen is playing the victim. This is infuriating to me. I can not imagine how pissed the designer must be watching this because my blood is boiling. Lisa said the other housewives were sending him gifts. This scene will not age well for Lisa Barlow.
Next we seek Whitney out rollerblading with her brother. She asks him about her dad. Whitney hasn’t heard from him in months. But, apparently he is still around spending lots of time with her brother, Will. Whitney was the only child who took care of her father when he was battling addiction. The other kids didn’t maintain a relationship. Whitney facilitated her father reuniting with the other kids. About six months ago there was a big blowup while her father was watching the kids and apparently drunk. He tried to attack a food delivery driver at her house. Wow.
More Fresh Wolf Scenes?
Meredith and Whitney go to lunch with their college aged daughters. The girls talk about college. But the important part of this scene is that the trip to Vail is finally being discussed! That is when Jen gets arrested! YAY! Meredith is the assigned host and she really doesn’t want to invite Jen after the way she has treated Brooks. But we all know she gets invited anyway. So maybe next week? I’m so excited! Next, Jen Shah comes over to spice up Heather’s dating life. Apparently, this includes playing stupid sex games that 20 year olds play at bachelorette parties. It’s too ridiculous to recap.
What I am not excited about is more Fresh Wolf nonsense. Apparently, Lisa invited Whitney, who she is very busy trash talking and Meredith who she’s not really BFFs with anymore. Heather told Jen about the event after Jen told her that Lisa is trash talking Whitney. Sorry this gossip is hard to follow. Lisa Barlow is such a conniving bitch. Jen is now pissed at Lisa for not inviting her to the foster care event. FYI what foster care programs need is an exit strategy for the kids when they age out. Many times they are just sort of kicked to the curb.
Are We Finally Going To Address The Cult Situation?
At the event, a black man named Cameron is introduced to Meredith by Lisa. It was all kind of ….odd. It just looked very scripted. Lisa tells Cameron that Meredith and Mary are very close. Are they though? Cameron has two foster kids under two years old. I other words, Cameron is a saint. Meredith asks Cameron how he knows Mary (who apparently is some sort of link between Cameron and Lisa). Cameron says he used to attend Mary’s church. He says there are many God fearing people in the congregation. But Mary and her husband are very harmful people.
Cameron says he hopes for healing for everyone. Meredith says she hates to hear this because she “loves Mary.” Bitch, you just met her a year ago. Cameron says he was very close with Mary at one point too. He tells her, “Just be careful.” Cameron doesn’t want to give any specifics on what the issue with the cult is. Meredith goes to debrief Lisa on what Cameron alluded to. Lisa says that Cameron used to preach at Mary’s cult. Lisa said that Cameron has experienced real trauma from the cult. But she was told in confidence and it is not her place to share.
NEXT WEEK IS THE ARREST! Probably at the end of the episode, but still. We’re in the home stretch!
