Oh Lord, what is the “dirty little secret” on this episode and why do I think it has to do with Johnny? Let’s knock out a MAFS Houston recap really quick before the next on airs. PLEASE DO NOT SPOIL ME I am a week behind on these episodes. I have to recap all the Bravo mess because that is what people want to hear about. But this is one of MY SHOWS that I LIKE. So please be patient. People posting spoilers will be banned from the site.
We Are Getting Down To The End!
It looks like it might be time for homegoing week. I just noticed that Johnny is THIRTY FIVE! He acts like he is 19. Zack goes to talk to Dr. Pepper one on one. As we all learned on the previous episode, Michaela is a nutcase. Zack says he is done with Michaela. Dr. Pepper seems to want to force them in to couples therapy. Zach needs to run as fast as he can. But, Dr. Pepper brings in Michaela. Why? Michaela comes in and the first thing we here is “Zach left me.” Um, after you screaming at him to get the fuck out a billion times you psycho bitch! She is legally insane. OMG. I have no idea how Zack is sitting here listening to this bullshit. She is trying to gaslight him! He walks out. Good for him.
Michaela tries to tell Dr. Pepper that when she demolished the house she was having a panic attack. That was not a panic attack. That was a tantrum.
It’s Time For Hometown Visits
Johnny was raised with an absent father. It’s also the letter to their younger self episode. Johnny’s letter was heartbreaking. Bao realizes that Johnny comes from a broken home and has no male role model. Gil takes Myrla to his hometown. His father was shot and killed in the apartment he grew up in. Myrla also lost her father as a child. This is heartbreaking. Jose takes Racheal to his childhood home. They both had pretty good family upbringings. Jose said he was raised on rice and beans. Racheal feels like he had the good life. And, in her mind all Hispanics live on rice and beans. Jose had a nice house to grow up in but he is pretending to be poor?
Bao and Johnny apparently arrive in separate vehicles to see where Bao grew up. Her house is totally gone. She isn’t really comfortable sharing things with Johnny at this point. She grew up in a trailer. Bao’s letter to herself as a child is heartbreaking. Her father had PTSD from the war. She cries. Johnny tries to comfort her. Is Johnny having a breakthrough? Is he human? Myra takes Gil to play volleyball. They are cute. I didn’t think that Myrna deserved Gil, but now it seems like a good match. Gil wants her to remember her roots. I remember my brother telling my mother that I need Gloria Vanderbilt jeans and Calvin Kleins and buying me Levis so I would not be made fun of in High School. And, I was pretty damn confident in high school and never paid attention to anyone.
I was pretty hyped about the jeans though. LOL.
Dr. Pepper Gives Bad Advice
Dr. Pepper give more advice. But, Racheal has a confession to make about the night he locked her out of the house. UT OH.
Michaela and Zach meet with Dr. Pepper again. WHHHYYYYYYYYY! She is a nutjob. They need to break up! Dr. Pepper is a moron. Why is Zach trying to hard with this sorry excuse for a woman. It is like he is the one being abused in the relationship and still keeps trying! Gil and Myrna haven’t told each other they love each other yet? Shopping is a problem in this relationship. But that is all fake for the cameras. We all know these two will end up together.
Brett and Ryan
We hardly even see this couple. These two go fishing. I guess this is his way of dealing with a not having a home to go back too. They talk about childhoods and share each others letters to their former selves. Brett has a friend who recently died. Is Brett actually falling for Ryan? I’d actually like them to be together. These two don’t do the home visit. But, later, Ryan finds out that he on a dating app. It’s not cute while he is married. He leaves the house.
Then all of the sudden, we get blindsided by Johnny telling Dr. Pepper that he had talked to one of Bao’s friend who told him that “this is what Bao is like in relationships!” Johnny says horrible things about her. Bao is heartbroken over her “friend” fucking her over. Johnny is a dick. Later, Johnny and Bao talk about her friend trying to fuck up the relationship. Johnny is done with the relationship. He leaves the apartment.
Then Rachael tells Jose that when HE LOCKED HER OUT her ex came to pick her up. Like that is her fault. So don’t lock her out of the house, you asshole!
