TAMPA, Fla. – The attorney for Brian Laundrie’s parents says an autopsy on their son’s remains, which were described as “bones” by North Port police, did not reveal a cause or manner of his death. Laundrie’s autopsy was completed Friday and his remains will be sent to an anthropologist for further examination
After over a month of multiple law enforcement agencies, and Dog The Bounty Hunter looking for Brian Laundrie, Yesterday partial remains and “skeletal remains” were found suspected to be those of Brain Laundrie. Today, the FBI field office in Denver announced that the remains were positively identified using dental records as those of Brian Laundrie. All circumstantial evidence points to Laundrie murdering Gabby Petito
The remains were found at Carlton Reserve. Reports indicate that the area where he was found was underwater for a few weeks previously. I guess that kind of explains why he wasn’t found sooner. It was Laundries parents that returned to one of his favorite camping areas to search for him again. The water had receded and the remains were found. His parents led law enforcement to the area the body was found.
While I am not sad at all that he is dead, I do think the Gabby Petito family will never get truth of what happened now. And those details, however gruesome, could have provided some closure for them.
