Kandi Burruss On Kelly Clarkson

September 17, 2021 by tamaratattles 8 Comments

Kandi BurrussKandi Burruss was on Kelly Clarkson today and one thing these two have in common is that they always look so happy to be there. And Kandi looks like a teenager lately, in her Versace swag. I swear she is aging in reverse. Kelly is super competitive. They are going head to head in a challenge involving song lyrics. They both say they are terrible with remembering lyrics. This should be fun. They will be given a lyric and they have to sing the song title. The first song Scrubs, that Kandi wrote. And somehow Kelly rang in first. Now Kandi is out for blood. LOL. The both miss The Hamilton song. I’m not doing this justice. It really is funny. Seth Meyers is the host.

Kandi Burruss Is Taking Over Broadway

The Kelly Clarkson show has been filming all this week in NYC. She asks Kandi about the first time she came to NYC. Kandi says that was when she was with Xscape. She said the first three times she came to NYC she say a bike rider laying in the three that had been hit by a car. All three times. This reminds me of the first couple of trips to Paris where I saw a dead body both times. It was creepy. She said her make-up artist also just got hit by a car while riding his bike.

Kandi Burruss  is there to talk about her new Broadway show, Thoughts of a Colored Man. For the first time ever, the entire cast is black men, there is a black director and a black writer. Kandi is a producer on the show. She literally has a million jobs. I don’t see how she does it. She talks about Blaze. She is really feisty. I wonder where she gets that from. She doesn’t mention her new spin-off, RHOA, or The Chi. It was all about Broadway. The play debuts next month. No doubt, Kandi Burruss is a BOSS.

This made me laugh, because Kandi is a GOD if she made Kim sound good

Of all the RHOA cast members, Kandi really stands out in so many (good) ways. Sure, she can be messy at times, and I really didn’t like it when she launched Bedroom Kandi as a MLM. But overall, she has actual talent, good business sense, and a good example for her kids to follow.

Whatever happens to RHOA in the next few weeks, Kandi won’t need to sweat it.

I saw Kandi on Broadway a few years back when she was in Chicago. She played Mama Morton. I didn’t know she was in the show when I bought the tickets. She was great!

I record the Kelly Clarkson show and listen to the song and delete the show. I don’t typically watch talk shows but I love hearing Kelly sing.

Ha! I often just fast forward to through the song, and watch the show. I love singing on The Voice etc, but Kelly has a voice that can change you mood with the song and I’m usually too emotional in the first place for that. The show itself is always upbeat and funny and not so much like a regular talkshow. She always seems to be surprised that she has a show and is just there to hang out.
