I finally was able to get a bit of time with my EXCLUSIVE SOURCE. I finally got an update on RHOA Casting Tea ! So, I will share that first. Then, I’ll have another post with tiny cups of tea on some other shows.
FINALLY! RHOA season fourteen is ready to begin filming! It only took to months to get all the contracts hashed out. Well, actually the friend contracts still are not done. Porsha, Kenya, Marlo, Kandi, Drew and Sheree will be full-time housewives. They are all signed on. Shamea, has signed on as a friend. The person who I am not allowed to name (because she hasn’t been offered a contract just yet for some reason) is expected to be a friend. Also, they are still trying to find one more friend. All of the ladies have been told this is a make or break season for all of them. The show will not air until 2022 and is slated to have an order of 18 episodes.
Porsha and Drew both held out for more money and got it. Speaking of Drew, she has had quite the glow up in between seasons. She looks beautiful. Kandi has the most favored nation clause which insures no one can make more than she does. I didn’t hear any specifics on her storyline. Marlo is expected to hold a peach for the first time. Kenya promises to have cameras follow her actual divorce proceedings. Last I heard, Marc has agreed to let Brooklyn film again.
According to my source, the theme for this season is redemption. All of the ladies are supposed to show their luxury lifestyles and how they are fighting through adversity in their lives. Bravo still wants the show to be aspirational in nature. Yeah, I don’t think anyone aspires to be any of these women. The whole show is about their ratchet behavior.
PURSUIT OF PORSHA
Pursuit of Porsha is expected to premiere immediately following the first episode of RHOA whenever that turns out to be. Porsha and Simon are thirsty as hell. They are being described as ratchet and rowdy according to someone who has seen some rough cuts. Dianne (Porsha’s mom), Lauren, and Dennis have many standalone scenes.
This special series will likely become a recurring one like Don’t Be Tardy. They take a family trip on a private jet that Simon actually paid for (not production). He also buys a property in Atlanta and pays for it in cash and puts Porsha’s name on the deed on the finale. They envision having their weddings, merging their families and even go deep into Simon’s rumored indiscretions. Porsha gives everyone what they’ve been dying to see, her real life. No more faking or fronting like she does on RHOA. They paid her pretty penny for this series so she owed it to them.
