Oh look, I am back for another Big Brother 23 recap! Sorry for the delay but I have to do RHOP and Shahs first on Sundays. Big shout out to Cheryl B. For keeping us up on the live feeds! Also, Cheryl, I just put your hat in my whompy-jawed mailbox. I hope it is still standing by the time the mail comes tomorrow. Let me know if you get it!
We begin with the Kings celebrating again. The whole rest of the house hates them. Tiffany already wants Sarah Beth out. On live feeds she said she wanted Sarah Beth out next week. Also, next Thursday is Tiffany’s birthday and she really wants to win. She also thinks it will be a double eviction. That would seal the deal for who is in jury. Unless there is some sort of twist between the two evicted players to let one back in the house. That last sentence was me not, Tiffany.
The Wildcard Competition
Derek and Azah both pout about losing. Derek knows they are going to come for The Jokers. I love Azah and Derek but there have never been two more exhausting floaters. All they do is lay in the bed alone. Derek seems unsure about The Royal Flush Alliance. Hannah is already worried she could be a pawn. She seems to not care much for Christian, so if she wins next week, she would probably put up Christian and Alyssa. Whitney has no idea that she is the target. I love that. She is dumber than a box of hair. The female Kings think Hannah is the smartest female in the game. Hannah is on The Cookout, so she will be safe. The Kings think America hates them. I sure don’t. They are doing God’s work. Thoughts?
I love the conversations between Derek X and some of the girls, especially Azah. This is how you talk about race on a TV show. His upbringing and feeling as “other than” hits the heartstrings and he explains how being raised in American has distanced him from his old school Asian parents. This is how it is done. This show is so good this season.
This has to be the last Wildcard comp because Claire is the last person eligible on The Queens. Am I right? Whitney is also the last eligible player from the Aces. Azah and Derek F are the only eligible players on The Jokers. Azah is going in. It’s a girls challenge! It’s a hard one. Rolling five balls down a plank into a hole. I wonder if what took even longer was giving them some practice time? Because, they usually do that for this kind of comp. Oh wait! They only have to get ONE olive in. Claire eventually wins by using her mad science skills.
Claire got to pick between keeping her team safe this week. Or keeping herself safe until jury (which we presume is two weeks). This was a no brainer. She’s the first member of the jury. Also, she has the body of an Olympic athlete. I’m changing my prediction for the winner from Tiffany to Claire. The Cookout is already imploding and Tiff and Claire were conspiring together to get Sarah Beth out just yesterday. Everyone seems to understand, or at least be happy Whitney didn’t win.
While most people in The Royal Flush want Whitney to be the target, Sarah Beth, who is unaware of The Cookout alliance, says Hannah is a much bigger threat. Tiffany wants to target Britini because if she wins anything she is coming after the Kings and Queens. It doesn’t appear that Derek X was invited to this HOH meeting since his team has no idea where he is truly aligned. The Cookout is trying to keep Hannah off the block, in reality. Sarah Beth is pushing for her because she is a good player and wants a threat out. Not someone who is dumb and walks around with her boobs out all the time. Sara Beth is figuring out that Tiff and Xavier are really defending Hannah. That is the real reason that Tiffany is working with Claire and trying to get Sarah Beth out next week.
When the Jokers have their HOH meeting, Derek F FINALLY MAKES A GAME MOVE! He lies to the Kings and says Whitney has told him if she wins she is putting up two members of the Kings. Also, what kind of comp would Whitney win? Who could do the most spa treatments? Christian wants to go for Hannah. He tries to calm Hannah to be okay with being the pawn. She makes a lot of good points, but he will ultimately be persuaded by his team and put up Whitney with Hannah as the pawn.
Whitney is going home. YAY! Hannah is coming for Christian and Alyssa. So this was ultimately bad for his game, and Whitney’s.
