I’m going to try to get this Below Deck Sailing Yacht recap done. However, the weather here has been hellish for days and is supposed to be hellish again tomorrow. It’s been dark outside all day! Thunderstorm warnings, tornado watches. Crap. As I am trying this we just got another huge thunderstorm warning. It looks like I may not get through this now either. But I’m at least going to start. In other news I have numerous random ailments including by not limited to some kind of earache/infection. FML.
Who Done It?
Oh look! We start with Daisy bitching to Gary about Natasha. Should she be taking care of the guests? How does she have so much time to worry about what Natasha is doing? It’s like an obsession. Now Gary is spending his time bitching about her as well. The interior has designed a murder mystery dinner for the guests. Natasha is killing it in the kitchen. Captain Glenn is at the dinner and he doesn’t really get the whole murder mystery thing. But the guests seemed to like it.
Speaking of doing it, Dani and Jean Luc are making out in the galley. I still need to know if Jean Luc is the father of her baby. The timeline seems to add up. And Sydney is still hotly pursuing a seemingly disinterested Gary. I feel like Gary got what he wanted right away and he was ready to move on to the next target, Alli. But she can’t seem to get over him. What exactly do they see in Gary? Gary and Sydney have a friendly talk on the bow about his estranged father. Then, they head to bed. Separately. The next morning Daisy is frustrated because Sydney keeps complaint to her stews that they need to help out on the deck more. I have an idea. Why doesn’t Jean Luc start earning his tips? He literally does nothing and I don’t understand why he isn’t fired. Gary is pissed that Sydney is running her mouth to the interior about deck issues. Gary and Daisy hash it out.
Sailing Back To Port
It’s time to put the sails up. The guests were thrilled that dolphins were swimming alongside the boat. They are really said to be leaving the boat. But there is a problem, a chain has wrapped around the anchor. They send Jean Luc down to untangle it? Jean Luc can’t walk and chew gum at the same time. Why didn’t Gary deal with this himself? Somehow Jean Luc manages to free the anchor. The guests go back to shore. Once again Nastasha gets accolades on her meals. Gary calls his mother to tell her about his attraction to Alli.
At the tip meeting, Jean Luc gets praised by Captain Glenn for untangling the anchor. The got a nice tip, $15K for a two day cruise. Captain Glenn tells the crew that there is bad weather coming so they need to move the boat back to Split. But, once they get there the crew has the entire day off. Another boat is going to take them to a private beach for the day. Tonight they get to go on land to a bar that will set them up at a private, socially distanced table. The table is beautiful and Gary and Alli are cozied up together taking selfies while Sydney stews in her pot of jealousy. Gary and Alli are sitting right across from her being super flirty and talking about how much they like each other. Gary tells her, “Keep playing hard to get.”
Sydney Cannot Hide Her Jealousy
Meanwhile, here in the ATL, things are getting eerily quiet. It’s making me nervous. We haven’t cleaned up after the last giant tree fell. All of this water is not a good thing. Reports of trees down everywhere. Anyway, Sydney gets Jean Luc to change seats with her so she doesn’t have to hear their romantic conversations. Daisy gives a toast to Natasha praising her meals on the last charter. Then they all head back to boat. Sydney whines to Colin about Gary. Alli talks to Daisy about feeling bad for her situation with with Gary. Daisy tells her to just go for it. Sydney keeps showing up to interrupt Alli and Gary. #Awkward.
Daisy tries to get Sydney to hang out with the group. But, Sydney doesn’t want to be around Alli. She confesses to Daisy that she and Gary had sex. Everyone already knew that. Daisy realizes that Sydney wants her to tell Alli about the hookup. I feel like Alli already knows. It’s a small boat. There are no secrets. Actually, I think that was Dani that Sydney told about the sex. I swear we are ten episodes in and I still can’t keep the stews straight. Jean Luc complains to Dani that the crew is messing up the teak and he is the one who had to clean it. Wah. Dani and Alli randomly makeout. Jean Luc continues to complain about the teak. Colin tries to get him to chill out, but he is pissed at Dani.
The Master Suite Gets LOTS Of Action
Natasha says something about picking a man that has a good work ethic and he will be good at sex. Someone says that Gary has a good work ethic. Colin asks Sydney if Gary is good at sex. She says no. This conversation happened in front of everyone. Dani and Alli run off to sleep in the Master. They start making out on the bed. Jean Luc sulks. He is so not father material. He keeps going on to Gary about having to clean the teak. Jean Luc and Gary go hunting for Dani and Alli. When they get to the cabin door they can hear them having sex. Suddenly, JL is ready to make up with Dani. Will they make a baby?
She wants to have sex with the lights on because she has worked really hard for her body, so she doesn’t want to hide it in the dark. Gary and Alli are back on deck with Colin, Natasha and and Sydney. They start to make out right in front of Sydney. Her head is going to explode. Gary goes to sit at the front of the boat. Natasha goes to bed. This leaves Colin to watch the catfight between Alli and Sydney. Alli goes to Gary to bitch about Sydney. Then we hear Dani biting Jean Luc in the master suite. Alli and Gary come back and Alli tries to hash things out with Sydney. That doesn’t seem likely. Colin and Gary are laughing about the girls shouting. Gary tells Sydney straight up that he is with Ally now.
Next week they have a day off at the beach and everyone is happy. Well, except for Sydney. Sidney and Alli continue to argue. Captain Glenn hits the dock with a boat and lets out a string of cuss words that are shocking coming from him!
