The Private Plane Situation
Latoya does not presently have any friends in the cast. Porsha and Marlo fell out because last week the cast was sent the links to episodes 15-18 in preparation for the reunion and it gets ugly. The last four episodes will be super dramatic. Drew and Kenya really get into it on the finale. It’s a very divided group going into the reunion. It is highly unlikely Latoya will be invited back. The Bravo suits and production both have a negative open of her. Drew will be back. She got a really good first contract and is well liked by Bravo and production. It is expected that Kandi will finally tell her account of the Bolo events at the reunion. So then it’ll all be out there. Production is searching for any possible new footage to use.
In other news, I followed up with the private plane situation. I was told at the time that production had money for private planes for the Charleston trip and the NOLA trip. I asked why Kenya and Latoya(?) were on the private plane and not the rest of the group. It turns out it was because of Brooklyn, or more specifically, Marc Daly. Since he isn’t allowing Brooklyn to be filmed anymore, she would have to have been blurred out of all the traveling scenes. So technically, it was Kenya’s fault that everyone else had to go in an airless van. The network thinks it is ridiculous that Brooklyn can’t be on the show anymore. Someone is petty.
Random Other Bravo News Of The Week
Bethenny’s divorce is FINALLY final. And she is engaged to her Boston boyfriend. But the real tea is that she let the paps know she was at the beach and was “caught” in a bikini and an amazing engagement ring. And it just so happened to occur on the day the trailer for the new episode of RHONY dropped. Imagine that. Also on the preview, Eboni K. Williams gets annoyed with how Ramona calls her housekeepers, “the help.” Really? That is probably the nicest language Ramona has ever used toward service providers. I hope she is there to see how she treat the staff on a trip. If they even get to go on one.
Former RHOM cast member, Lisa Hochstein and her husband have racked up nearly $12K in fines in 2021 alone for throwing loud parties at their Star Island home during a pandemic. I would not be seeing her plastic surgeon husband during this time.
Kenya Moore and the Bravo Network issued statements of apologies for her native American costume at Falynn’s Halloween party after public backlash.
I knew that would happen. This is what I don’t understand. What exactly is ‘offensive’ about dressing up as an Indian??? It’s not like she also has a sign on her that says I’m stupid while she’s wearing the costume or anything. In no way does her costume suggest derogatory innuendos about Indians whatsoever. Would people be all offended if she dressed up as a geisha? Would people be all offended if she dressed up as a cowgirl? Would people be all offended if she dressed up as an African queen or a Hawaiian with a lei at a luau? SO RIDICULOUS!!!! What the hell is wrong with people these days?
My take: avoid any cultural appropriation at all. It’s a very touchy topic, and even if you think it seems harmless, it isn’t perceived that way.
Coming from the state of the 5 Civilized Tribes what Kenya did is RIDICULOUS and she should have known better. She wasn’t wearing a “costume” she was wearing something sacred to Native Americans. Kenya did that for shock value, aggrandizement and because she knew it would draw attention to her. She didn’t care if the attention is negative or positive, all eyes are on Kenya when she pulls a stunt like that.
You know, I can definitely see where you and Ingrid have really valid points. People should research whether the costume they’re planning to wear is a sacred symbol. I can see this. I was referring to, I think, the sense that it almost feels like people can’t breathe or blink without offending someone about something. Like, I sort of remember a post of TT’s where she was telling us about a long-time Twitter friend of hers who was offended by something- was it something she had cooked (I’m getting old and my memory is shot). Anyway- it was something really ridiculous for the person to have been offended about. I almost feel like it’s getting to the point where to even try to share each other’s cultures (or indulge in fantasy dressing as another culture at Halloween) is going to be viewed as offensive by someone… But I know it’s a complicated issue…
Completely agree Kat! It’s just gotten so ridiculously out of control
Absolutely MsCarly. I saw Native Americans explaining to Kenya that the headdress she wore was sacred and the honour of wearing it can only be bestowed by a chief or the elders of the tribe. Kenya is an extremely intelligent woman, there’s no way she didn’t know what she was doing. She may not have known the specifics, but she definitely knew it was going to be problematic. There are so many things to dress up as, we really don’t need to be doing this anymore.
Ummmmm. Yes! People would be upset if she dressed as a Geisha. People would probably also be upset if she showed up as Moana. Cowgirl isn’t culturally significant to any race. She is black so she is not appropriating anything if she dresses as an African Queen.
How bout you just don’t dress up as racial or cultural symbols if you are not part of that race or culture? I find your response to be what is ridiculous in this situation. Pull your panties out of your ass.
We were doing so good right up until that last sentence… Le sigh.
There’s one in every crowd
Nice way of promoting understanding and dialogue- how hateful.
Sometimes here it’s hard to see who is responding to who. My response was to kete05. I think all of the other comments here (on both sides of the issue) have been really wonderful and have promoted greater understanding of these issues.
As a wife and mother to a husband and children of Native American descent its just inappropriate. Will point out girlfromky they are not “Indians” it’s “Native Americans.”
Cultural appropriation, there are many, not just native Americans, who see this as them being portrayed in a negative light. and yes, people might be offended if she dressed up as a geisha.
I know you’re relaying information Ingrid, thanks for trying to help answer the question , my reply here doesn’t have to do with you personally. But Generally speaking, evidently people need to be capable of better observational discernment and quit flying off the handle to be so nasty and hurtful so quickly. There wasn’t anything derogatory about what Kenya was wearing. Same goes for a geisha costume. As long as the bearer isn’t suggesting something offensive or derogatory with how they are portraying the costume, what’s the problem? I swear, we all need to do a better job of checking ourselves a lot better than we do
There might be no racist intent, there might even be intent to admire and celebrate, but concepts like cultural appropriation and blackface are symbolic of racism, and it’s best to just avoid them without overthinking the situation. If your girl want to dress up as princess Jasmine for Halloween it might not be simple to explain to her why she can’t, but this is a small price to pay for progress imo. In the long run all this might help many people live happier and safer lives.
Now in Kenya’s situation, she obviously knew she would get attention for this and did it on purpose. I love my girl Kenya but she willingly signed up for woke twitter’s wrath here, so no sympathy from me.
Not derogatory to you but Native Americans don’t see it as a sign of respect and I assure you that Asian Americans will feel the same way about a Geisha costumes. Maybe do a little research into the history of the costumes and what they symbolize. Plenty of costumes out there that have nothing to do with the culture of marginalized people.
Well said! GirlfromKY, you’re coming across as a person of white privilege with a lack of respect for other cultures. Maybe pay attention to what people from other cultures are telling you about their feelings.
Maybe you should learn to not attack people who are trying to understand a situation that is new to them.
We do not attack each other here, Deb. You know that. Others in this very informative comment section are speaking openly with each other. You are the one attacking. Would you like to calmly educate someone who clearly doesn’t get it? Or do you just want to insult them? This is the crossroads you are at.
I’m so offended by how everyone’s offended these days about seemingly- everything (seems many people feel they have to jump on some “offended” bandwagon or another, and so that’s mine😊) . Some offended feelings are true, raw and real (like being offended by Blackface, or other sorts of humiliating depictions of a culture), others I feel are just for “show” (because everyone’s offended about something now, people feel they have to join in on that mentality!). I have a lot of empathy, but really feel many people have crossed over into territory that’s just- ridiculous.
I wonder if there’s some connection between Bethany calling the paps, and a possible return to RHONY for her? And, I so wish that little Brooklyn could be filmed- she was the best thing about the show…
Here is my question. Why is Pepe Le Pew, Mr. Potato Head and all the other games, toys, books, food names, brands, etc. removed or altered and CONDEMNED and called racist or part of the MeToo movement, but rap song lyrics are allowed that demean women, talk about killing and etc. etc. And that CardiB thing allowed. Why? Why is that okay?
Very, very good point. Where’s all the outrage? Or are things only “right or wrong” depending on the cultural, gender or racial group that they’re affiliated with? In order to try to right the very real wrongs in this country (that truly do arise from white supremacy and gender discrimination- which are very real things and have hurt so many, so deeply, for so many generations) – I just think that a lot of people have lost any sense of balance, fairness, and just common sense. We are just taking things way too far.
I really think a lot of this is about who can Scream the loudest and make the biggest spectacle about being offended with regard to his or her individual, and often times completely wrong perception of an issue. I really also think it has a lot to do with an insecure neediness to do whatever it takes to get attention in this overly obsessed social media culture that has been condoned
I used to agree with you, but what I’ve learned is over the past few years people (aka white people like me) are finally listening. So everyone is expressing the opinions they’ve held for years. Does it seem like a clusterf*** of people playing the victim? Sometimes, yes. But I think that’s just at first glance. There is legitimate pain at being marginalized over one’s life, and to finally express that feels good. And especially because (some) people are listening.
Now I do think intent should be taken into consideration. If someone legit doesn’t know they are offending someone, then let’s not attack. Educate. But if someone has said, hey this makes me uncomfortable because that headdress is a sacred part of my culture, then let’s try to respect that. That’s all.
Native American Headdresses are important because they are worn by the most powerful and influential members of the tribe of which Kenya is not. Even if Kenya has Native American blood she is not a powerful or influential member of a tribe so she has no basis to wear a Headdress.
You don’t get it obviously from the amount of posts you have made to defend your position. I wish I could say that’s okay, but it is not. Kenya “fake” apologized so let’s all move on.
I TRULY would like to be educated more on what is right and wrong because honestly some things are confusing. I totally understand about blackface, an Indian headdress, using derogatory words to describe race or ethnicity. I have a legit question though that I’ve often wondered about. I’ve seen in the media where Kim Kardashian & others have been blasted for wearing braids or LuAnn blasted for the Afro, but then Nene, Wendy W, and others wear blonde wigs w/a sleek smooth hairstyle. So, can someone explain? I’m not trying to be insensitive or anything, I truly want to be educated here in our group on this. I’m trying to understand the hate towards some for hairstyles, but not others.
It is my understanding that it is only offensive if the oppressing culture (ie white folk) appropriate from an oppressed culture (ie anyone not white) because historically white folk were in a position of power and we all know the abuses of power that took place. Over centuries of making other cultures “less than” because of the way they look/live it is extremely disrespectful to then look/live like “them” especially for entertainment purposes (costumes etc).. Even though intentions are largely not malicious it is viewed as ignorant to wear culturally significant items. This is a remnant of colonialism and not righting the wrongs of that time. This is in essence what white privilege is, it is a privilege to not know and understand the deeply seated and pervasive roots and upshoots of racism. I didn’t really get it either until I asked the same question and this is how it was explained to me and it does make sense as much as it takes the fun out of picking costumes and even celebrating the beauty found in other cultures. Especially if you are a high profile person, it is best to stay in “our” lane. That being said I don’t believe cancelling people (historical or current) is the correct response either. Hope this makes sense and that I got it right.
PS using the word Indian is as offensive as the n word. Indigenous or First Nations is the current accepted standard 😁
See I did not know using the word Indian is no longer acceptable. My ancestors are full blooded Cherokee on my maternal grandmother’s side and it was just always used, but with pride. I’m glad you broke that down because honestly some things are still confusing to me and I don’t want to be offensive to anyone. I think we do need more awareness and education. I definitely do. That does make perfect sense regarding the hairstyles. Thank you for explaining because I’m not even a fan of some of the celebs who have been blasted, but I wanted to understand.
Most of my family is Cherokee and they prefer Indian over Native American.
Edit in response to MelG and Heidi: I should clarify that “Indian” was the name given to our First Nations by white folk and was very often used in a derogatory way. As part of our of the process to right the wrongs of our colonial ancestors, in Canada, we looked to the tribal leaders to tell us the respectful way to address them when our government issued an apology for the treatment they endured at the hands of our government. This is a part of the long healing process so that both sides can move forward together.
(Native American was also a name appointed by white folk and is no longer in use here). That said I have noticed that Indian is still widely used in the US and I’m not going to tell your proud relatives they are not Indians! but we absolutely do not use that word up here.
Thank you- that’s clear, and is really helpful (not hateful)!
Great job with this explanation, thank you!!
thank you – and well said.
Someone here at TT said it here and it really hit home for me! When Kim Kardashian wears braids – she is adored and admired for the appropriation. But, If an even more beautiful woman – Halle Berry – wore corn-row braids to an awards ceremony or even around town – she would be “not making any effort to look good” or looked down upon for her hair. White people taking an African-american hairstyle for attention and praise. Using it much like a costume. The commenter talked about mothers being admonished for sending their kids to school in corn-row braids and not “putting effort” into their kids hair. I know this has changed in the last 20-30 years but the emotion is still there for many people. Then, you have all these white people being celebrated for it. It is wack once you think about it. I know I am not saying this exactly right, but it really hit home for me.
Also, I have to think we must consider our intentions. When you wear something like a Nazi Uniform to a party (sorry Rinna), your intention was to make people to laugh — because its a party. There is nothing funny about Nazi’s. Not ok. Think it through people.
Yes this is a really good example to explain it simply! So much more understanding is needed and then I think we, as a society, can get to a less reactive place.
Great question! The outrage over some things and not others strikes me as hypocritical.
I’m sorry but this is just so ignorant. There has been outrage over the years regarding rap song lyrics – Tipper Gore anyone (or am I dating myself)?. And there continues to be outrage over rap lyrics to this day. But the common theme amongst all those “outragers”? Most of them are white. That’s the problem. Minorities (myself included) are sick and tired of white privilege and the ignorance afforded by such privilege. I’m fortunate that I live in So Cal where its diverse but I travel often to places like Ohio, Oklahoma and Arkansas for work. Do you know what it feels like to have white people look at you and assume you don’t speak English so they speak slower and louder as if you’re dumb? Or how about having old white guys leer at you because they thing you’re some pretty little Oriental thing they can play with.
Plus this thing about wearing traditional clothing from other cultures – if you do it at Halloween (or something similar), it’s insulting. I am Korean-American and I would be offended if someone who is not ethnically Korean wore a hanbok for Halloween. My culture’s traditional clothing is not something “fun” to dress up as for Halloween. Hanboks are worn on special occasions so why is it okay to wear it for funsies? Spoiler alert: it’s not ok.
I think plenty of people, on both right and left, think WAP is waaaay over the top. But music has been dealing with that since the days of Elvis, when he was deemed indecent and far too sexual.
Ultimately, it comes down to do you (generally speaking) care about the blowback?
Cardi B doesn’t care about all the controversy her song caused, in fact, it’s probably why she made it, a la Madonna back in the day.
At the same time, if you don’t care what blowback you (again, generally speaking) might get by wearing a headdress, then you do you.
Ultimately, everyone has to make their own choices. I don’t plan on getting rid of Mr. Potato Head and Pepe Le Pew for my kids. But I would steer them away from wearing a headdress on Halloween.
And if someone wants to call me a horrible parent for not burning my old Mr. Potato Head. Then so be it. I’m comfortable in that decision.
What has Mr. Potato Head been convicted of? He’s a POTATO?
Exactly. Nothing. It’s a Potato! The makers just said they were taking the Mr./Mrs. off the title, and putting in a variety of male/female parts to dress it up with.
But some people took that as “cancelling” Mr. Potato Head in favor of a non-binary potato…which brings us back to your original point. It’s a potato, who cares!!?
If anything, it’s a cost-saving move on the toy maker’s part, to not have to produce 2 different products. But then it gets spun in *some* conservative circles that it’s being cancelled to indoctrinate all children into…wanting to become transgender potatoes?
So ridiculous, you gotta just laugh. At both sides.
Isn’t there already a Mrs. Potato Head? So now they are combining them? Okay I had to go read about this for myself. He’s the story.
Hasbro created confusion Thursday when it announced that it would drop the “Mr.” from the brand’s name in order to be more inclusive and so all could feel “welcome in the Potato Head world.” It also said it would sell a new playset this fall without the Mr. and Mrs. designations that will let kids create their own type of potato families, including two moms or two dads.
But in a tweet later that afternoon, Hasbro clarified that while the brand is changing, the actual Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head characters will still live on and be sold in stores. In a picture posted on Twitter, the “Mr.” and “Mrs.” names are less prominently displayed at the bottom of the box, instead of the top.
“While it was announced today that the POTATO HEAD brand name & logo are dropping the ‘MR.’ I yam proud to confirm that MR. & MRS. POTATO HEAD aren’t going anywhere and will remain MR. & MRS. POTATO HEAD,” the company tweeted.
It seems like it seems to be more about same sex family sets. That’s a lot more understandable than gender neutral potatoes. I can’t believe I even typed that sentence.
In my years of experience living on this planet, whenever people begin to realize that there is injustice in the world the pendulum eventually swings WAY FAR in the other direction before a more sensible point of moderation is reached. Personally, IMHO this has nothing to do with potatoes.
That’s exactly the point I think I was coming to earlier (but not expressing very well). I see completely (and this discussion has actually been great because I really do see the point about how bad it is to “imitate” (culturally appropriate) things that are sacred to cultures outside of your own. And Google does exist now, so no excuses. I still think, overall, certain things (like the Mr. Potato Head debacle) are started by people who are either unhealthily obsessed with seeking out things to be offended by, or, who have lost their damn minds! It’s like anything else- raising sensitivity and awareness is absolutely necessary work, but when it’s taken too far, it takes the focus away from the truly important issues (and causes people to just turn off to the whole issue).
And Jai Jai’s points (which are so excellent overall), about how many of the “outragers” are white is dead-on. I’m fortunate to work in a “majority-minority” environment, and have been blessed by people who are willing to let me in enough to share their true feelings and perspectives (even though I’m white). Number one on many Black Americans’ lists of what makes them angry and gets on their nerves? White people who have made a profession of outrage and “posing”, as if they are the defenders of all minorities.
Having been blessed to work with largely minority people for over thirty years (community college), I’ve learned to do my best to be an “ally”, but not to make my identity about outrage about minority issues (because as a white person, that is NOT my right). It’s fake, and would be viewed as fake. I’ll never actually know how it feels to be a minority person in America (and to pretend that I do would be so disrespectful). I can only strive to be an empathic ally and continue to learn along the way, and where I might have influence (such as hiring people), to always try to do the right thing (and stay open to knowledge until the day I die). But to stay humble (and not fake-outraged) above all.
Lisa from RHOM is actually one of my favorite housewives across any franchise! Disappointing that they’ve been partying it up so much down there. 12k is a drop in the bucket for them though.
I hope to buy a place down there. Not Star Island of course, but something really cheap for Miami Beach.
A lot of games and food names have negative racist connotations and it is time to evolve. You don’t have to listen to rap. You can turn it off but it things found on shelves in a store is a lot different. But if you think rap is the only music that demeans women you obviously have not listened to rock music.
I think it’s at the point where you don’t know what will offend someone. And some of it is ridiculous. My biggest problem with this is the banning of books. Are we moving backwards in time ? To Kill a Mockingbird is the best example of how blacks were treated. Yes, it uses the n word but in context for that time period. I think anyone that read that book was appalled at what happened through the book and at the trial. You can’t change history it happened. Teach the good and bad of what these people did. Can we take away that Washington was our first president and fought the British to free the states ? One of the reasons the Germans left the concentration camps up was as a reminder to what happened. They say knowing history is to make sure it doesn’t repeat itself.
Excellent points JKW!
I am for putting a “disclaimer” or whatever you want to call it in the front of questionable books rather than eliminating them altogether. This goes for whatever may be considered offensive to others. We can’t change history but we can learn from it and why it is/should be changed and would be a great way for discussions to happen.
No, books are like opinions. You should be able to voice your opinion or beliefs and read whatever book you would like.. But banning books is more like Nazi Germany. I wonder if these book banners have ever read the books they are trying to ban. If you start banning books or anything else that have a word that offends someone, there won’t be any books to read. Because at this point there seems to be something that offends someone. So books with violence offends someone that believes in gun control ? Books with sex offends a very religious person ? Books about war offends pacifist ? Where do you stop ? Are we so dumb downed that we can’t read a book and disagree with it and form our own opinions ? Now we have to have someone tell us it’s offensive. Teach the good and the bad about the man or circumstances.
Don’t forget about books about Mr. Potato Head. 🙂
Seriously, if people are offended by topics in one book, they can just read a different one. Much like the Internet, there are many sites online that I find offense. I just don’t go to them. I don’t stage a protest over their freedom of speech. I just don’t read it. Why aren’t books the same way.
Books should be the same way. Banning them is dangerous Hell, you have offended me at times but I just don’t come here much or state my opinion. But would never think of banning someone because of what they said.
Judging by the nature of these comments, no one really cares about RHOA anymore. The show has jumped the shark and needs an almost clean slate to make anyone care.
Back on the RHOA reunion subject. Latoya was on IG today ( Wednesday) saying she is sick. And the Reunion is tomorrow (Thursday). Do we think she is sick? Or terrified of the reunion. She might as well skip it. I don’t think she is going to be asked back. And she has ZERO allies at this point.
On another note: I really, really hope that Jason writes a Tell-All book about his life with Bethenny but I suspect that might be what held up the final divorce for all these years.
I just don’t understand the fake outrage from Drew, Porsha when they and Lauren have all done the same thing(without the headrests). I’m not happy to hear Drew will be back. She brought nothing to the show but being a Porsha crony, her thirst, and obsession with Kenya.
Books should be the same way. Banning them is dangerous Hell, you have offended me at times but I just don’t come here much or state my opinion. But would never think of banning someone because of what they said.
If you’re talking about the Dr. Seuss books, no one banned them. The family decided to stop publishing a few of his less popular books with discriminatory portrayals of minorities in them. That’s it. It was their internal decision, not a banning or a ‘cancelation’. And for the record, the books most commonly banned have liberal or progressive themes (same sex relationships, etc) – it’s conservatives doing the banning.
I never mentioned Dr Seuss books. See above and the examples I gave. I am talking about Huckleberry Finn, To Kill a Mockingbird and The Words of Cesar Chavez, Beloved and Gone with the wind to mention a few. Some states/communities have banned them due to certain offensive words they use. Even though the whole point of some of these books are actually against racism or to demonstrate racism.
Since I really believe in not drawing conclusions until I’ve gained perspectives from all sides of any issue, I’m really interested in this topic. And my next question is entirely sincere- I’m in no way “baiting”. Could you give us some examples of books with liberal or progressive themes that have been banned in the last five years (not long ago when the country was much more conservative, but in more recent years)? Again- this is an entirely sincere question- thanks so much!
TT any updates from the reunion ? It seems the fractions are still intact which is to be expected. I’m shocked the suits love Drew, I don’t get it. With the exception of Ralph disappearing to Tampa & her hard on for Kenya all season, she truly gave lukewarm & mild ala Kim Fields but less accomplished. I don’t know what it is but I guess I smell her desperation to maintain her peach by any means through my screen and it reeks.
I hope Kenya & Latvia tore her to shreds for the passive aggressive confessionals & disrespectful, unwarranted attacks on their persons. I enjoy Latvia because she’s completely unhinged & she’s the type of FOH that is required, messy to the highest power & called on for chaos & confusion when required. I would love her & Marlo to be FOH, Shamea brings nothing but pom poms for Porsha so exit left. I would gag if Tanya surprises the gyals with a video message & ethers everyone including Porsha but that’s wishful thinking on my part but a producer should have been assigned to Tanya, I wanna hear from her as well.
With 4 episodes left to go, I don’t know what Cynthia did besides get married so Mazel but what else is going on Fiddy ?! Kandi is a BOSS and I’m always inspired by her hustle but she’s also a messy bish who loves knowing all the tea, I bet Kandi could end careers if she were to start chirping about the goings on in Atlanta after dark. So I need Kandi to stop trying to be innocent, embrace her messiness because I see it & stop shielding herself behind her Kandi Klique.
I have nothing for Porsha except gowns, gorgeous gowns (Aretha Franklin voice) because she always serves a lewk but truth be told, there’s nothing else she can give besides GoNaked hurrr, bawdy & a lewk always. What happened to her ACTOR-vism ? She’s been real quiet since her “sister” Tamika Mallory is being exposed for the clout chasing, jump on any bandwagon, faux freedom fighter she truly is. The parents & families of those murdered at the hands of the police have spoken & expressed their disdain & heartache at all of those who came out in support of BLM & promised to use their voices to support them but have since ignored them.
I thoroughly enjoyed Marlo this season, without NeNe around, she’s actually a good time. They need to bring back Eva because I don’t think she’ll be having another beautiful baby anytime soon & add Falynn as a FOH too. Drew is too corny for me & I can’t stomach her so I hope she’s not back because I don’t want to keep fast forwarding her scenes & only pausing when Ralph is bulging for a quick, zoomed in view.
I knew Kenya was going to be burned at the stake because it’s Kenya & it’s simply another opportunity for her haters to try & go in. Unlike some of the women on the cast, present & past, Kenya apologized & didn’t have to be coaxed into doing so because it’s part of her ancestry so the last thing on her agenda was disrespect & mockery. The hate Kenya gets at this point is laughable because she’s cashing cheques either way but not Donald Trump cheques, shout out to NeNe because after the way she was shown the door, this reunion would sting I’m sure. Shout out to you TT for always keeping us informed & entertained, I hope you’re planning on having a relaxed yet productive weekend with those taxes out of the way. I’m bringing the muffins & scones, since you always have the hottest tea.
Oh sweetie, taxes are not even close to being done. Please send a hot accountant and a suitcase of cash.
Also, I love that Latoya autocorrected to Latvia. I am dying to go to Latvia for my birthday. I almost had a teaching job there. While I was researching for the interview I found out that my birthday is a HUGE celebration there. I mean, as it should be. I was devastated when I didn’t get the job. 🙁 But I was offered one in Vienna and then… someone didn’t leave or something? Then I was offered one in Saudi Arabia and I knew I had it when they were flying me to Texas to basically sign a contract. I was still teaching in the county and knew if I took it I would never work here again. I backed out basically because it was not in the main city but on a city where the oil production was the biggest in the world and Google listed it as a huge terrorist target to shut down oil. So I backed out at the last minute. THAT is the biggest regret of my life. I would have loved it there.
I’m sorry, what were you saying? My anxiety is super awful today. And if you didn’t find the tea yet… https://tamaratattles.com/2021/03/26/exclusive-all-the-rhoa-reunion-tea/ I had to wait for SOURCE to get in touch. Sadly I am not there to observe the filming myself but I have the next best thing…..
I found the tea TT & thank you for spilling. I’m sorry, I think I spilled my guts and a few tears in my length response about love and yada yada on the exclusive post. I’m an empath & it’s sometimes my undoing lol. I would love to visit Latvia & of course, your birthday should be national holiday. TT my gawsh, you have lived. Can you please post some musings about your interesting life ? I mean, what you want to share of course. You should be on a reality show TT, you’re fascinating & I rarely say that. P.S. Vienna is on my list of places to live atleast for 6 months, Geneva too and I don’t know why. They’ve always just called to me. P.P.S. I’m on that hot accountant search & I’ll find one who’ll tend to your bushes too once all the accounting is done 😜🤣😎
No matter how stupid your RH Comments are, I will be going somewhere, and you will always be welcome.
