It’s time to check in with the horny new crew on the latest Below Deck Sailing Yacht recap. They wake up after their first night off with serious hangovers and fuzzy memories of the night before. I get the feeling that a lot of you are not watching this season. Why not? This season looks like it will be packed with drama. Tonight, there maybe be COVID on the yacht! The photo above shows a severely hungover, self-acclaimed, prettiest girl on the boat, on a walk of shame. Meanwhile, Gary has to do his own walk of shame back to the cabin he shares with Captain Glenn.
Everyone feels like shit. And the boat is completely trashed. Gary and Sydney both deny having sex when asked by the crew. But we heard the whole thing. Unfortunately. Then, Captain Glenn holds a preference sheet meeting and the primaries had a family emergency and were unable to make it. So there will only be four guests on the boat.
We Are Not Peasants!
Daisy is pissed that she now has to clean the guest toilets again because the guys used them the night before. I don’t blame her. Also, Sydney and Gary hooked up in the guest cabin. Gary says that they slept in separate twin beds. So. that is two more beds to strip. Somehow Natasha order a shit ton of carrots accidently. Time for a Carrot cake?
The charter guests arrive and tell each other not to be “too impressed” by the boat, lest they look like peasants. lol. If you have to try hard not to appear as peasants…perhaps indeed you are peasants. The guests are tiresome already. They want their very large bags unpacked and several things steamed. Their drink orders are ridiculous. This looks like a pain in the ass charter. Also, with no primary, the tip if there even is one, will suck. Also there are some equipment failures. Gary is helping to shuck oysters, but he is eating most of them.
Disaster Avoided, Barely
Gary goes up on the mainsail to help Captain Glenn get the sails in the air. But there is a problem. The sail is ripping as it is being raised. So, Gary goes over to try and assess the problem. Gary almost falls. The mainsail needs to be fixed. But, they are able to sail with the other two sails. Things are awkward with Gary and Sydney. Gary has assigned her to night shift and she is not thrilled with that. As I am typing I hear a loud noise. It is POURING rain. March is such a mixed weather bag. Also, on Sunday it was 80 degrees and sunny!
Disaster was not avoided in the galley though. The stews drop a box filled with lobster shells and some miscellaneous goop. The smell has them all gagging. I’m starting to realize that the guests are apparently not allowed on shore either. Gary is over Jean-Luc not doing his job. And, he really wants to force Jean-Luc into the cabin with Captain Glenn. Jean-Luc doesn’t want that. But, it is happening anyway. Gary goes back to work, threading the “donkey dick.” This should fix the sail. Plus, I just wanted to say donkey dick. Because, childish.
One Of The Guests Needs Medical Attention
Sydney is annoyed that Gary isn’t flirting with her and is treating her like any other employee. He’s already choosing his next victim. Oh it is one of the guests, Andy, who has a fever. The shoreside crew wants to keep all guests in their cabin. They want to retest them all again. Everyone on the boat including guests has been tested multiple times. Hopefully it is something else.
The doctor arrives in full PPE. They give him two tests, one throat, one nasal. Everyone is very concerned. The guests are all being quarantined back on shore. The staff if very worried they have been exposed. The guests are pissed that they are going to be quarantined again and lose their trip. So, these people are not going to tip for sure now. The fact that the charter guests are off the boat leads to another night of drunken debauchery next week. I am really enjoying this show.
