Last week’s RHONJ recap sure started the season off with a bang. Y’all had a lot to say about the drama between Teresa and Jackie. And unfortunately, I think that feud will continue for the entire season. All because of Teresa’s lies. Meanwhile, this season everyone is going to have problems with their spouses. Jackie can thank Teresa for adding her to that club. Teresa also seems to stir things up in her brothers marriage too! It looks like this will be a dramatic season. Let’s see what the second episode has in store for us.
We pick up at the end of the argument with Jackie and Teresa. Jackie tells Margaret she will never be around Teresa again. So if Teresa is going on the girl’s weekend trip she is not going. Teresa screeches into her garage and calls… Melissa? Since when does she tell Melissa her problems. She tells Teresa that she was being nice to Jackie. Did I miss that part? And that Jackie said Gia does coke in the bathroom. Even Melissa knows that Jackie would say that. But Teresa doesn’t understand analogies.
Jennifer and her daughter drop by to visit her mother. They talk about her brother Michael who is currently living in Turkey. He has a new baby that he named John Brian. John is after his father. Her mother calls the baby Brian because apparently, she can’t even stand to utter her husband’s name. The mom cries and says that her husband says horrible things to her all the time. She’s upset that he has turned her kids against her.
Delores also goes to visit her mother. They social distance in the backyard. The mom is quarantining all along and she misses all the grandkids. Then they talk about Dolores’s relationship with David. She is frustrated that he is not making a commitment to her. Dolores thinks she doesn’t have to answer to him about things like her surgery when he is not committed to the relationship. Apparently, her parents haven’t lived together since 1998. David loves Delores’s mom and her kids. She just doesn’t get why he won’t take it to the next level.
Time For A Girls Trip
Everyone is going to Lake George except for Jackie who wants no part of a weekend with Teresa. Margaret seems to think that all the girls can explain to Teresa what a jackass she is being and get her to lay off Jackie. Melissa packed six bags for a weekend trip. SIX! She’s not really happy to see Jennifer either. I can’t blame her for that. Margaret’s friend Lexi who she claims is her “creative director” comes along for the ride.
On the van ride there, Teresa tries to justify her behavior at Evan’s birthday. Teresa says that Evan is defiantly her type. She totally wants Jackie’s life. That van ride looks horrific to me. I hope the lake is not very far away. Teresa’s screeching would make my ears bleed. Meanwhile, Frank and David go to the shooting range. David took care of Frank when he fell down the stairs and had all sorts of injuries. Frank tries to counsel David on how to fix his relationship with Delores. I think David should just marry Frank.
I love how Delores and Jennifer don’t care what room they have. I’ve never understood all the room drama. The immediately start arguing about Jackie. Teresa is delusional and they all know it. They all talk about how awful Teresa is behind her back. Meanwhile, Jackie is home giving all of her kids quarantine haircuts. Her kids are so cute. Evan is still really pissed about Teresa and is barely speaking to Jackie.
The girls do tequila shots before going to dinner. Teresa says she wants a rich man who will have sex with her three times a day. At dinner they talk about Jackie again and Teresa admits that Gia told her to apologize to Jackie. Teresa announces that Joe Giudice is now in the sex toy business. He sent her samples. Melissa and Jennifer try to call a truce with each other. Jennifer apologizes and wants a fresh start. It almost ends on a good note but when Jennifer toasts to “making amends” Teresa flips her off.
