Come for the tea. Stay for the shade. Not for the easily offended. You're a special snowflake just like everyone else.

I was yelling yahoo when Obama was elected, and more fool me because the bigots came out and the Trumpism was here. I’ll take this day to honor Martin Luther King, and remember the fight is never over.
I’m also hugging my Mexican sprite, with real sugar and not corn syrup or aspertame.
What upsets me most is not being able to have a conversation with those that have opposing views. The “big lie” is a truth and my questions get answered with “what about ..” instead of any acknowledgement. These are my family and friends … people I thought I knew! It seems to be ok that our current President has been MIA in the middle of a pandemic and insurrection. That’s acceptable because the election was “stolen from him”. If Obama, Clinton or even Nixon had done any of this, the reaction would be different. I don’t even go on social media anymore. My heart can’t take the hurt. If I dared share the video above, it would be met with “what about the police, what about the BLM riots, etc”. It’s convenient to say that the people who stormed the Capitol were Antifa. It’s going to take a miracle to unite us … God help all of us.
Tamara been reading you forever and have never commented. Thank you for EVERYTHING you do to keep us entertained and informed!! This made me cry and I wish the world would get it! Love this site and you and please stay safe!
You have been a favorite place for me to escape and then as the world went crazy a place to read and vent. I even have my daughter reading you every day. You are amazing and we like your Banjo updates!
In 1968, I turned 4 years old on 4/4. My family will never let me forget that because all the TV channels were covering this event, and I wanted to watch cartoons, that I charged the TV set which was on one of those wonky unstable stands on wheels….and pushed it over and destroyed the TV. Oh the shame ! I broke our only TV set because it was my birthday, and I wanted cartoons!
I’m listening to Don Lemon, and he compared Obama with Trump. The well spoken black man and the what he wouldn’t say, the hate filled rhetoric of Trump.
I’m so excited for the 20th. I hope it is as peaceful as the intention. I hope you Tamara, are part of those who take back the party.
I’m headed to my state capital on assignment to defend it. What happened in DC will not happen again. RIP MLK We will never forget and we are forever grateful 🙏
I am from my state capital; I work and play there and am heavily involved in our downtown (near it).
We’ve been on pins and needles since the 6th and since they tried to get into our governor’s mansion. I’m so grateful for the National Guard and other people in uniform set to defend our government against these seditionist asshole traitors.
Did you see the images of the black national guards taking selfies with the monuments to Rosa Parks and MLK?
What happened in DC should never happen again, but seeing the joy that black men and women had while looking at the beauty of the capitol and seeing important people that did change shown there. Priceless.

That was amazing, beautiful and terrifying. Thank you for sharing that.

I’m sorry but how in the hell ARE THE OPPOSING VIEWS
