Today as I was preparing for this RHOSLC recap, I received emails to multiple sites reporting that there is a video out there (I didn’t hear it) where Mary is complaining about her congregations poor contributions to their tithing. Apparently it was her birthday and she only received a dozen or two cards with money in them. She went off calling her followers poor and or just stingy. They need to step it up of they want to continue paying for her plastic surgeries, skin lightening, designer duds and elaborate tea parties with Louis Vuitton ear buds. Why do people fleecing their flock feel so comfortable going on TV where all their vile behavior will be exposed?
Utah really does look beautiful. It is “the very first Park City Fashion Week.” And Meredith’s son Brooks is the youngest designer shows. Brooks is my favorite person on this show, but I know a lot of you don’t care for him. I find him highly entertaining. The Sundance Film Festival is also in town.
For reasons unknown, Jen is skating around her rental in old fashioned roller skates and hula hooping. She’s such a nutbar. One of her relatives is premiering a documentary and she is hosting the VIP party. She is getting read for some sort of party with her fake assistants. She’s so ridiculous and not in a fun way. It’s just annoying. Lisa has many, many events to plan for Sundance. Her poor husband is doing all the heavy lifting while she shouts out the orders.
Jen heads over to Whitney’s house, appropriately dressed in a snake outfit. Then she has an immediate costume change to get in the hot tub. I assume there is a swimsuit under all the black feathers somewhere. Oh yeah. There is a stipper suit under there. Jen thinks it is Cardi B. classy. Those words don’t even go together. Whitney is throwing a party for her husband’s birthday. All Jen wants to do is talk about Mary. Whitney warns Jen not to ruin her husbands party with another altercation with Mary. Jen is shocked.
Party All The Time
We find out that the housekeeper that Mary bosses around all the time is a family member. She says they are not close at all. Meredith Asks Whitney to walk in fashion week. It looks like the birthday party is coming up first. Everyone boards a huge party bus to head to the event. The party is at one of their friends houses! The hostess’s name is Kathryn. I already want to trade her for Mary. There are tons of party guests. Lisa couldn’t make it to the party she has too last minute things to do for her numerous Sundance events.
Mary tries to make amends with Jen. Jen in no way want to make amends with Mary. Jen completely denies screaming at Mary about fucking her grandfather. She clearly doesn’t remember that night. Nothing was resolved.
Jen’s VIP Sundance Party
It’s almost time for the VIP party. But first, we get a scene of Whitney and Heather out on the town. They head to a bar called Punch Bowl Social. It looks like fun place. I love how these two dress like normal people. These are the two fun girls. Heather tells Whitney that she is jealous of her happy marriage. Heather says that she can’t find a man in Utah who likes her. She’s divorced, she drinks, she has three kids. Whitney is a good friend to Heather.
Lots of people turn up for Jen’s cousin’s VIP party. Heather is on the prowl at the party and there are lots of options. Whitney invited Lala and Katie to the party because they were in town for “Lala’s movie premiere.” Lala and Katie want to try to get Heather “laid.” Heather has no game. And her voice sounds terrible. It sounds like she is going hoarse from yelling. But it looks like she got her man anyway. Did they do it in the van? Why is Jen on WWHL tonight? Wasn’t she just on? I guess that was the night everyone was on.
Park City Fashion Show
Oh look! Brooks made the joggers that Sheree only pretended to make. He is sad that his dad will not be at his fashion show. He’s tied up with work in Ohio. Brooks is running super late to his own event. Brooks is super anxious about his show. Then suddenly an alarm goes off in the house and they can’t figure out why. It sounds like a fire alarm but it is some sort of plumbing problem. This freaks Brooks out even more. He arrives 45 minutes late.
Brooks continues to freak out backstage. Whitney is nervous because she is walking in her first show. She and Lisa chat during hair and makeup about Seth not being able to make it. Then he sent Brooks an encouraging video. Brooks is still disappointed. Lisa’s confessional look in that white dress is everything!
Next week, Whitney Dad gets out of sober living. People suspect that Meredith is dating someone.
