This is literally the worst show on all of television and yet, it generates the most conversation in the RHOC Recap comments about how much we hate it. Funny how that works. So, yay! Who is ready to watch Braunwyn white knuckle her way through sobriety for another hour? I’m already exhausted. I picked a terrible day to get up at a reasonable hour. Three recaps back to back is hell.
Okay! Let’s do this. Why do we need to see someone emptying the litter box into a Louis Vuitton bag? Gag. Is it normal for people to ask friends to come to AA meetings with them? Once again Gina and Emily are talking about Braunwyn and her sobriety issues. Gina has her own problems to deal with and Braunwyn is not on the top of her list. Meanwhile, Braunwyn’s child, Jacob, is being fitted by a glam squad for drag.
Gina’s Legal Troubles
Oh apparently Gina had to go to AA as part of her DUI. Also, Matt’s domestic violence case is heading back to court. It seems like she has completed everything for her DUI. Even though she had two more traffic violations right after her DUI. Matt’s violent attack was horrific. And she is co-parenting with Matt and she doesn’t want to give a victim statement. Gina’s head seems… fat. She just seems a lot larger than usual.

Shannon’s daughter Sophie is going to Baylor. That is going to be a very rude awakening for her. Braunwyn is shopping with Kelly for a wedding dress. Although, it doesn’t seem to be for Kelly. It’s for Braunwyn. Kelly tries some on too and she hates them all. Hers and Braunwyn’s. Why the hell are we talking about a woman’s addictions who is not even on the show? Complete with blurred out photos. Why?
Who Is The Fairest Of Them All?
Next, it seems that Elizabeth and Shannon are both going to try to one up each other. Elizabeth had Gina and Shannon over for lunch on the porch. And for some reason she kept the grocery store price tags and stuck them on the bowls. It’s all weird hippie dippie green stuff. And they talk about Braunwyn’s sobriety. /bangshead. Nobody wants to go to Braunwyn’s vow renewal. Gina is very upset about the domestic violence stuff. She’s clearly not dealt with that yet. I am not going to acknowledge any more discussion about Braunwyn in this post.

Shannon and Elizabeth go shopping for Ferraris. Gina’s talking heads are like a completely different person. Oh Lizzie is friends with Emily right now. Lizzie brings the flashback of Tamra running off the set on one of the vacation trips. Double the fun! Emily and Lizzie are doing a swimsuit line for all body types. Apparently, they are going to do a photoshoot at Elizabeth’s beach house.
It is Gina’s daughter’s birthday and Matt and the side piece are coming over for dinner. Gina’s boyfriend is also there. This should be interesting. Also, Gina has decided she will do a victim impact statement. Gina thinks that Matt will probably get jail time. I don’t think he did. I don’t remember. Anyway, off we got to Utah!
About 20 minutes into the show tonight I deleted the show and canceled the series. It is more exciting to read a poorly written book than it it is to watch this show. RHOC is now unwatchable for me.
Why is Sean in so much of the show?
Good question. Another Simon, PK or Micheal Darby. I can’t stand these husbands!!!
I have actually been watching until tonight. The rain put out the satellite. After the second episode I thought to myself that I wouldn’t be able to deal with another second discussing Braunwyn’s sobriety. However, I recently saw an interview with her and I really changed my mind. I think (and lord knows I can be naive and so wrong) that she is trying to be very authentic.
Gina has gained weight, but it works on her. I have always thought Emily was beautiful with her curves. She has the height to pull it off.
Kelly is being very cavalier about Covid. I have had it and nothing has been the same. So, for now, I’m holding my opinion to see if she finally understands that it’s serious.
Elizabeth – I just like her for now. She seems pretty straight up and is a hustler.
Shannon – ehhh…I just don’t know. I feel like she probably said that the condo was sad. I’m sure it did seem “sad” to her in comparison to her own home.
Thanks for the recap!
Ya know, I gotta say that this show is beyond boring. They are all annoying. Shannon is jealous of Elizabeth. Kelly (and ONLY due to dating Rick) is a covid denier. Why are people like this? They think it’s a hoax. WTF? Is the ENTIRE medical community in on it then? Were all the deaths faked? I have zero tolerance for covid-deniers. Sorry, had to vent. What bugged me the most is why the hell Gina’s ex was even allowed on camera. He is An Abuser. Why am I watching this? I shut it off and that was it for me. Now I’ll try SLC. What happened to OC? I almost miss Fancy Pants Heather…..
I literally just got Kelly’s opening line. I guess that was a dig at Tamra Judge?
I still don’t understand Brown Wind. And no it is not a typo. How does anyone has all these young children and still doing so much? Who is looking after and caring for her kids? I have only two kids and I am stressed to the max with NTI work.
I may be in a very small minority, but the absence of Vicki and Tamra is so appreciated, I don’t really mind the rest (except for Kelly’s crass mouth) I do actually find Braunwy dealing with her alcohol dependency interesting and was a little touched by the exchange between she and Gina after the AA meeting. Also don’t mind seeing Shannon being triggered by being around someone with tons of money to burn.
(I wonder if Elizabeth left the deli labels on the salads because they listed the ingredients (something I would appreciate, though it looked tacky — would have taken the off, but had them nearby if anyone needed the info.)
Quite happy not to see Tamra’s manipulation and Vicki saying “let’s go potty” on my screen.
Agree!
“Big Dick Daddy”. I can’t believe she said that to an elderly gentleman.
I assumed it was for ingredients. Maybe she knows people with a lot of dietary restrictions…but the presentation could use some work. Tear off the price and if a guest asks sow them the ingredient list? She reminds me so much of the golden sunglasses lady from RHOBH.
Yes to everything! I LOL’d at Shannon being snarky at Elizabeth leaving the labels on, because it seemed so obvious it was really about the ingredients, not the price. Shannon isn’t used to being around people richer than her.
You are not alone. I only continue to watch because Tamra and Vicki are no longer on with their fake ass lives. Im surprised how interested I still am, would be ideal without Kelly. I need REAL storylines to keep me hooked and Gina’s fits the bill. I feel for her struggles. So far Braunwyn and family are interesting-TBD. Elizabeth is ok so but what I really love is how she’s bringing out the real Shannon. Did you notice how snobby Shannon was at her beach house with her fake smiles. “I lived further down at the end, without the boardwalk. My mother had a Ferrari” Same at the car dealership. SO jealous!! I have no doubt that even if she didn’t exactly say sad, her take on Gina’s house meant exactly that.
also thought it was very interesting in her daughter’s interview when she said Shannon needs a man to support her financially…
Yeah, that financial comment from the daughter was very telling. Almost like people don’t want to each microwaved cheese and fish.
I find myself for the first time really liking and respecting Gina. She’s down to her, her commentary on the duel between Elizabeth and Shannon was spot on, and her difficulty in dealing with her trauma with Mart’s abuse really struck me. She’s picked herself off, dusted herself off, bought a condo, found someone who seems very nice and appears to be working at changing her life.
The verdict for me, is still out out Brawnwyn and sobriety, but I really liked her in the scene with her son dressing in drag. I thought he felt enabled to be his true self, and not many parents would have the ability to let their son do that.
Baylor will be a huge adjustment for her!!
Am I the only one eayching Brawnwyn and wondering why the he’ll she is not at a sober clinic to not only dry out, but deal with her mental state and emotions? Her husband IS creepy; he just nods his head at her and enables.
Kelly is sctually boring to watch. So sick of hearing about her sex life with Rick. He’s 60, as she keeps repeating, whatcha gonna do if he suffers from ED? Sometimes blue pills don’t fix the problem girl.
Shannon is as sad to watch as she thinks Gina’s townhome is. The way she ordered those kids around like a drill sergeant. And she’s trying way too hard to be friends with everyone she hated last season. Such a nerd.
Keep forgetting about Emily. She’s about as exciting to watch as mud dry.
They reran episodes from the first year of RHOC all day yesterday. If anything, watching the current season of RHOC makes me feel reaaly lucky about me, my life and my friends.
Braunwyn should have simply gone to a 28 day program. It is beyond reasonable that she dry out on her own and then be on a reality show. And I’m pissed that she’s attacking Shannon for being dishonest, when B needs to focus on her own stuff. As Kim R said, “Stop taking my inventory.”
And Kelly is trying really hard to convince everyone that she and her guy are maniacs in bed. IDGAF. That’s way TMI.
This show is not for me! I tuned in and just can’t stand the screeching. I would rather watch the news or cartoons than this group of fake women. Never will watch again. Cringe-worthy!
I’m sceptical about Brawnwynn and her drinking. I think she’s using it as a story line after Leah on RHNY. I read something somewhere where she was calling it her cast…EGO
I’ve never known an alcoholic going sober, so I am actually fascinated by everything Braunwyn is sharing- it gives me a viewpoint I never considered before. She’s being super honest and vulnerable. And my heart goes out to Gina for how she is trying to do the right thing for her kids but also for herself and holding Matt accountable. Why all of a sudden is he willing to be on the show? It’s another way of him being manipulative to present he’s a decent father/man. Good for Gina in doing it for her daughter though; good for Travis in trying to relate to what exclusion would feel like. Kelly? Blah. What a downer on the dress buying.
This show is boring in a good way. The drama doesn’t seem AS manufactured. I totally missed the part about someone with addiction blurred out during the weird bridal shopping though. That scene was so boring I must’ve zoned out.
