WWHL Recap With Captain Lee & Kiko!

October 6, 2020 by tamaratattles 21 Comments

WWHL RecapI don’t think I have ever been so excited for a WWHL Recap ever! It’s two of my favorite people! Captain Lee and Kiko! Kiko is Skyping in from his around the world cruise gig! They are currently in Martinique, miles and miles and miles away from Sandy. Kiko is having the best Covid quarantine EVER! Kiko is the nicest guy in the world. Andy keeps trying to get him to trash talk Tom, but he won’t do it. In fact he says he was pulling for Tom to do well.

Andy asks Captain Lee what he thinks about Malia wanting to change all the sleeping situations so that she could bunk with Tom. He says he leaves that all up to the discretion of the Chief Stew who makes all the decisions about who is assigned to bunk with whom. He does say that if a couple is hired as a couple that if possible accommodations are made for them to bunk together. But if a partner comes on in the middle of the season, everyone else should not have to move around to accommodate them. I totally agree.

It’s The Stud Of The Sea!

Andy asks Captain Lee about having prescriptions on the boat, especially in regard to Kat. He said all he needed to do was see the prescription and that is that. He is not a doctor and if people are prescribed medication then it’s fine. There was no BS about having to be locked away and the captain needs to okay each dose. Because that is some stupid shit that Captain Lee and Malia made up. Captain Lee seems hint that Malia should not have gone rifling through Hannah’s things. Captain Lee implies that Tom’s temper tantrums over less than stellar provisions was par for the course in yachting. You just have to make it work.

Captain Lee says it was great to have Eddie back as bosun on the upcoming season of Below Deck. I know I posted some spoilers about this season but I can’t seem to find them for the life of me. Clearly Captain Lee missed having Kate on the season. Francesca has some big shoes to fill. I would not want to be her. Captain Lee and Kate go together like peas and carrots and I could see Captain Lee getting frustrated with Francesa for not have the ability to read his mind like Kate does. Apparently, there may be a couple who gets sent off the boat together.

Captain Lee Spills The Tea!

Wow! Captain Lee says the new chef Rachel is probably the best, most knowledgeable chef he has ever worked with on a yacht. I’m getting teary eyed so somewhere Rachel is probably crying. That is high praise from Captain Lee. He also says that they really didn’t know the gravity of the pandemic because they were so isolated. The started filming in mid February and were for the most part blissfully unaware of the gravity of the situation. In the previews, Captain Lee is seen screaming at a charter guest. He says that was a career first for him. He has never spoken to a charter guest like that before. In the clip below it appears that the guest just jumped off the boat randomly to swim.

Kiko says he learned a lot from being fired (on TV!). He had never been fired before and it was an opportunity for growth. Kiko says if he was asked to make a Vegas dinner again it would be very high end. He says he recently went to Vegas for the first time just to see what the food is really like there.
Captain Lee was asked about Captain Mark and he says he has not yet met him but he was “duly impressed by his performance. He likes that he was level headed and calm. Kiko was asked about Rob and Jess and if Rob made the right decision. Kiko says if he was in a relationship with someone who is jealous from the very beginning, he would focus on his career as well. But he really likes Jess.

Bravo Chat Room

At the end, Kate comes on to say hi to Captain Lee and to encourage us to watch Bravo Chat Room. It’s on now and everyone seems to be team Jess. Hannah from Summer House is on this week and she says that Rob reached out to her online trying to hook up and she was not interested. Then on WWHL Rob made it seem like they talked and it didn’t work out.

I missed this live, but went back to watch on On Demand after seeing it mentioned here, thankfully, because I love both Capt Lee & Kiko. Capt Lee is just SO damn sensible. The difference between he & Sandy is daylight & dark. His answers just reaffirmed what a stupid cunt Sandy is and what a shit show BD Med has been.

It was a fun show last night. I loved seeing Captain Lee and Kiko looking so relaxed. Captain Lee’s take on the Hanna situation was spot on. I tried watching I’ve tried watching the new Bravo Chat show but didn’t like it so I’m not willing to waste 1/2 of my time on it.

Not huge fan of WWHL, especially where the opening song is so freaking loud, but this episode was great! You’d watch Captain Lee and Kiko anyway, but on top of getting to see them, they provided really good info.

I started to watch Chat Room and it has potential, but Porsha was overdoing it like a game show host and then they lost me when they were all on Jess’s side with the ass grab. I honestly don’t think she did anything with intent there.

I’m watching House Hunters International on HGTV now. That seems like a show you’d like, TT, since I know you have plans to possibly move to another country someday. I think of you when they do Uruguay. Not so much for discussion on here though unless everyone was discussing it live. Otherwise, who can remember 5 minutes after your turn it off.

    These two are classy beyond…

I love how Capt. Lee uncharacteristically weighed in on Kiko’s travails, Sandy’s firing/treatment of Hannah for having PRESCRIBED medication, and Malia “somehow” getting ahold of Hannah’s medications.

Also, how Capt. Lee had such praise for Capt. Glenn.

Andy, who KNOWS HIS WAY around pot, needs to quit confusing CBD/hemp product (NOT psychotropic) with THC/marijuana product (psychotropic)..

Agree! I also liked the way Capt Lee expressed his feelings on cabin assignments…maybe if they come in as a couple room together, but wouldn’t rearrange crew for it, that he leaves that up to the Chief stew, which is what Hannah could not understand when Sandy overrode her decision when Malia was demanding she & her boyfriend have the cabin and Hannah move in w/Bugs.

…except Hanna’s drugs were NOT prescribed.

I know she said they were later, when she lied to Bugsy and Malia about why she got fired, trying to save face. But when Sandy asked her point blank, “Do you have your prescription?” Hannah had to admit, “No.”

What *I* love is how, after presiding last season over the most misogynistic, toxic work environment ever, Captain Lee is just the Best Captain Ever! and how Sandy is a micromanaging cunt for actually being involved with her staff and seeking feedback from the guests.

She showed the exact same box of Valium on Twitter and the flip side of the box had the prescription sticker on it. The date of the script matched up to the time she was on the yacht.

I know Tamara probably won’t like this… but here it goes. Google “hannah ferrier prescription” and look at images. There’s your proof!

Yes, I’m sure that once she got home, Hannah had somebody dummy up or backdate a prescription for her. Or she rummaged through her things until she found an old box.

I mean, I wouldn’t want to be busted on worldwide TV being in possession of a controlled substance either.

Clearly, Hannah didn’t have the prescription at the time she was on cruise.

Otherwise, when Sandy asked, “Do you have your prescription?” Hannah would’ve said, “It’s right there on the back of the box” instead of “no”.

I find your comments disgusting. Did you even watch the show? Hannah had prescribed meds on the fucking pill container. Sandy was just looking for a reason to fire her.

Dummy up a fake label? Really?! Hannah has had scripts for her anxiety for years. She’s taken Valium on the show in previous seasons for her panic attacks. Sandy was even aware of it in past seasons. It seem like you have an agenda against Hannah or people who take medication for anxiety. Either way, not cool.

Good point though about Lee not having any interaction with his staff to discourage or prevent such horrible behavior. He claims he didn’t know anything about it until he saw the footage because no one told him. Bullshit! He had to hear talk on the boat, at least from production about the toxic work environment. And regardless if he didn’t, check on and MANAGE your entire crew at some point. There’s a very wide line between micromanaging and not managing at all. Try to be somewhere in the middle.

Sorry, you need to look again. They were prescribed, issued by a pharmacy and she had every right to follow her and her doctor’s decision on taking the medication. She didn’t have the prescription because in my neck of the world you give the script to the pharmacist and he gives the meds in a nice little container, showing who prescribed, who filled, date, instructions for taking, end of story. If they give you the script back you could go willy nilly all over the world stocking up on things you don’t need. How hard is that concept to get? The legally marked container, in her name, issued by a doctor and filled at a bona fide pharmacy is all she needed to show anyone. Sandy Lurk A lot and Maleria was wrong and both of them need to find new jobs, too petty for public consumption.

          T. O’Krsa, that is the best explanation of the situation I’ve read so far It also explains the puzzled look on Hannah’s face when Sandy asked her if she had the prescription. Sandy & Malia just didn’t want Hannah around anymore and I’m glad that Hannah didn’t beg and plead to keep the job.

T O’Krsa, Yes! I was just coming to comment the same. If I was asked about having a prescription for drugs I was carry, I too would say no. The prescription goes to the pharmacist, then it’s gone.

Also, the medication was in a box (with a label with her name on) and not in some sort of label-less pill bottle with other random things. She certainly managed to get through customs with it…

Capt Sandy and Milia both knew the Valium was legal, then and now. The last interview I saw with Milia, she didn’t even mention the Valium as the reason for the firing, just the “weed” pen. It was all such BS.

They were prescribed. The prescription info was on the box – date, doctor, prescription code, etc. She didn’t have the paper prescription but called the doctor and pharmacist and the faxed it within an hour. By the way, the paper prescription is never returned to the customer so they can’t fill it elsewhere.
Captain Lee knew nothing about the misogny going on last season. Once he did he blasted the crew and said he would never work with them again. Sandy is vying for camera time period.

This was the best WWHL! I was living for Kiko and Captain Lee. Captain Lee did not hold back. He would pick Alex and Kiko for his ship, which I totally agree with. He’s obviously not a fan of Malia and her antics. He also wasn’t feeling Tantrum Tom either. I liked how Captain Lee praised Captain Glenn and NOTHING was said about Sandy, subliminal shade. I could watch Kiko and Captain Lee every day on WWHL.
