90 Day Fiancé Happily Ever After Recap: Point of No Return

September 22, 2020 by tamaratattles 18 Comments

“Don’t fat shame my cat.”

I am excited to get back to Moldova for this 90 Day Fiancé recap and hopefully watch Andrei beat the fuck out of Charlie. Is that wrong? If it is I don’t care. I wonder if we have seen the last of Angela. for a while. I think this might be the last episode before the Tell All, but I’m not sure.

Larissa & Eric

For some reason Larissa got briefly detained by ICE the other day. But the really shocking part of the news was that Eric and Larissa are still together and moving to a new place in Arizona. I am really shocked by how tenderly Eric took care of Larissa through her surgeries.

Two months after the surgery, Larissa is better for her big reveal. I think she has had even more and is now doing like soft porn videos or something online. She did her first one recently and it pulled in $100,000 in revenue? So I suppose it was a good investment. According to TMZ she had multiple surgeries to look like Kylie Jenner. WTF? These two sleep in the same bedroom but different beds. That’s weird. Holy shit! There is a FLYING COCKROACH IN MY HOUSE. I didn’t even know that was a thing. I had one shot to get it and missed. I have never seen anything like this.

90 Day Fiance Happily Ever AfterAngela & Michael

I just realized I have seen the first thirty minutes of this episode on a sneak peek recording. That is why I thought that Angela and Michael were probably done with filming. She gets on the plane to go home. It’s all very sad. Michael really seems to love Angela. Then we see her later trying to get to her car at Hartfield. It can be a hell of a walk to the car at Hartsfield. Plus, she has been in Nigeria for weeks, the parking fees may be as much as her plane ticket!

I’ve learned to higher a fancy car with a chauffer. Turns out they are much cheaper than you think. They handle your luggage and put it in the car just outside the door. And it is so much cheaper than parking. But it’s a three hour drive to Hazlehurst so that’s not really an option for her. Angela says she can’t cry when she sees her mom because she has never cried in front of her before and she doesn’t want to scare her. So she has to be tough. This storyline is pretty triggering. I remember going to see my mom in ICU, unresponsive with a giant DNR sign on her bed. I never got to say goodbye. Angela’s mama died ten days later.

Angela calls Michael and he is being such a good husband. Can’t Michael even visit for a funeral? He can’t come to the US at all? There are a TON of Nigerians in Atlanta. I used to go to Nigerian parties in my twenties. I’m not sure how Michael will like Hazlehurst though. It’s a small, rural town not the America other countries see in the movies.

90 Day Fiance Happily Ever AfterRecapLibby & Andrei

Andrei is probably my favorite husband of all times. I like them a bit rough around the edges. We left off with Andrei taking drunk ass Charlie outside for a man to boy conversation. I really want Andrei to deck him but I have a feeling he won’t since they are at his wedding. Libby definitely wouldn’t give him any if he did that. And he didn’t. Then the sister and Andrei’s friend try to talk Charlie down. The it is Chuck’s turn to babysit Charlie. Shut your stupid mouth, Charlie. When you are back in the states, Andrei will knock you the fuck out. Then Andrei and Chuck make amends. Andrei and Libby need to move far, far away from this family.

Later on in the wedding Libby can’t find Andrei and drunk Charlie is still spewing nonsense and upsetting his father and Libby. Even Libby’s dad says that Andrei is being the bigger man. Yet, Libby keeps lumping Andrei in with Charlie. Andrei tells Libby that he made peace with her father. But, He is not in a good place with her asshole siblings. The literally kiss and make up. They have a great first dance. Andrei can dance. I love Andrei!

Kalani & Asuelu

Asuelu and Kalani are taking his awful family back to the airport. Asuelu looks like a toddler. It’s just something about him. I didn’t realize that Rosa, Asuelu’s sister is deaf. The good news is that Tammy left before the rest of his family. That baby boy in the bucket is ADORABLE. Asuelu’s mother asked for money again. But she was just joking! What a prankster that one is. I think Kalani would be much more willing to send money if is mother didn’t demand it all the time.

A few weeks later, these two have a date night! Asuelu has nachos for the first time. Apparently, jalapenos are not a thing in Samoa. They stupidly ruin their date night by doing their therapy homework at the bar. Basically, they each write down how they feel their household chores should be divided. Asuelu thinks he should only take care of himself and Kalani should handle everything else. Asuelu does seem to be in love with Kalani though, So there is that.

Sadly, three months later, during the pandemic, their marriage is crumbling. Asuelu is going out in public acting like there is no danger. Kalani sent him to his mother since he is not taking precautions. Kalani and her sisters have amazing hair. IJS. Holy hell! That is her mother! She’s gorgeous. Asuelu is a bit… challenged so I kind of get him not understanding Covid. But when he gets sent away he sure did have wear a mask on the airport and the plane. That might make things clearer for her.

90 Day Fiancé Happily Ever AfterTania & Syngin

We got some pretty views of South Africa. It looks amazing. Syngin should just stay. This marriage was never meant to be. Syngin’s sister and most of his family seem to want him to stay in South Africa. I like Syngin’s mom’s grey t-shirt. I am on a quest to find the perfect one. Recently, I caught my favorite one on fire recently. Don’t ask, lol. I have an obsession with grey t-shirts. They have to have a plunging neckline of some sort, be the right weight (not to thick) and oversized.

Anyway, these two go for ice cream on the beach. I want ice cream from other countries. You can’t get real pistachio ice cream here. I have a couple pints of Ben & Jerry’s pistachio pistachio, but I would rather not have pistachios in my ice cream. I also have Haagan Daas Dulce Leche. I am not much for ice cream really. But those are my two favorite flavors. And I am buying all sorts of things I would never buy during the pandemic. Singyn tells Tania that he may just stay in South Africa. I think that is a wise move.  Then he says he is coming back with her. They want a life together. They kiss and makeup. Glimmer of hope? Jesus, Syngin can’t park a car.

Colt & Deb

Colt orders food in to have the talk with his mother. He has decided that it is time to break up with Deb so that he can date without a third party involvement. Deb trashes Jess to Colt. That seems to upset him. BTW, Jess is already engaged to some other American sucker. So, Deb was right. But still, Colt needs to cut the apron strings. Colt asks Deb to treat her like a man. Deb is pissed. Colt feels relieved.

I’m sorry about Kalani and Asuelu. It wasn’t only what he was doing it was also that he was lying about it. He can’t get away with shit with her and he should know that. I had an ex like that. Lied about stuff all the time. I always knew the truth and don’t know why he kept trying. When you’re with someone who’s much smarter than you, stop lying. You’ll never get away with anything and it only makes it worse.

I think, too, Kalani can’t trust his judgement. For whatever the reasons, he seems never to assess situations with common sense and now the stakes are VERY high with Covid and when he’s all over town, she can’t have any faith he’ll strictly follow precautions. Why the hell would he want to play volleyball in The Plague?? I put on about 6 layers of PPE just to hit the grocery store every 2 weeks and still break out in a cold sweat because I want to be in and out asap.

And I agree, TT, the women in that family have some of the MOST gorgeous skin and hair. I seriously wish she’d announce their hair and skin routines and what they use on her social media or something!

Good point about his judgment. Just like when he wanted to take the family to Samoa when there was a full blown measles outbreak. Why risk it? For what? So I agree that’s a concern because if you can’t trust someone’s judgment where do you go from there?

Especially when there’s a deadly virus out there and you have two little kids at home. Why would a dad even think of risking his family’s health like that and also lie about it.

In one of the earlier episodes, Asuelo was meeting up with his Samoan volleyball-playing friends, and he made it clear that it was his cure for loneliness for his country. So I guess that’s still the case. It’s his little piece of home in a strange country. This is the first time I really felt bad for him. He’s just a man-child, but he obviously loves Kalani and his boys.

I understand why he wants to see these friends in general, just not why he would risk it NOW when the stakes are so high and it puts his family, even his in-laws, at such risk. That’s just not ok. Either he doesn’t understand the seriousness or he doesn’t care, and either way Kalani was right to send him away. I know we all see glimmers of him acting in mature ways where he prioritizes his wife and family, then he slides back into behaviors like spending all his time at home playing video games and, apparently, thinking it’s hard labor to pick up some fallen apples in the yard. Let’s also not forget when he had a tantrum and thought it was real cute to drag a suitcase on a city bus when they were on vacay for the little one’s bday and “run away from home.” Only to later also think it was cute to send Kalani on a wild goose chase half the night sending her to phony locations to pick him up so she had to drive all over town in the dark. I wouldn’t be surprised if that incident alone was why she put the tracker on his phone.

Kalani needs to ditch Assuelo, kids or no kids. She deserves so much better. Not only is she stunningly beautiful (that hair, skin!) but she is patient and kind. She is intelligent and stable while Assuelo doesn’t even have common sense. She needs to cut her losses. He would probably be happier returning to Samoa.

Andrei has really grown on me. I STILL don’t like when he gets all, “I’m the MAN, my wife does as shes told,” because, honestly, it’s beneath him. Real men don’t need to be like that, they can be personally powerful without needing to lash out at their spouses or significant others. You can be a dominant person without being obnoxiously dominating, if that makes sense. I think if he would just let himself relax and give up old insecurities he could be more happy. He’s pretty sexy and looks VERY fine in his wedding attire and he can clearly rise above petty bullshit when he’s decided to (Charlie isn’t worth messing up his wedding suit for, frankly, Charlie is a drunken mess bloated with dysfunction and red hot envy). Was I the only one who got suddenly a hint there, just for a minute that Charlie might have a little attraction for Andrei? I was just wondering if he is and has sublimated that into a constant obsessive rage at Andrei, instead. Yeah, Libby and Andrei and their baby need to move away from her family’s nonsense.

I can’t understand, either, why the hell it’s been this long and Michael still can’t come to America? He can’t even travel as a tourist? Angela seems to have money for all these flights back and forth, she can’t buy a plane ticket for him to visit her for even a week or two? Did they ever explain this?

I am not and never have been a Jess fan, but funny Deb always thinks everything is the woman’s fault and never mentions things like Colt sending dick pics to dozens of women or his obsession with trolling for online hookups. Clearly Colt and Debbie have had a default dysfunctional spouse relationship for some time (not in a sexual way, I’m not saying that, let me be clear) instead of parent and adult child. They cohabitate, he works full time and she part-time, so he pays most of the bills, they have joint bank accounts and joint credit cards (I remember her telling Larissa this several times way back when) and she cooks and cleans…it’s organized like a marriage. For both their sakes, they should live separately, stop the codependence and put up boundaries.

Ahhh, Colt and Debbie. I couldn’t get it for several minutes when he kept saying to her that he wanted to be treated like a man. He kept saying that his mother treats him like a woman he was dating would. HUH? Finally I figured out that he meant treat him like an “adult.” I don’t care for either one of them, but I dislike Debbie more. She’s a domineering, overbearing woman, who doesn’t seem to want him to be happy. Ys, maybe Jess wanted to marry him…or any American man…for a green card, but does that mean they couldn’t be happy? I think without Debbie’s interference, they could have been happy. Jess seems like she can adjust, as long as she’s treated right.

They will never move away because Chuck supports their life style. The brother was being ridiculous at the wedding, but if my sibling married someone who would not work and they wanted my parents to pay for everything I would be pissed off too.

She said he was getting dropped off at a shuttle that would take him to the airport, he wasn’t going there direct. If it was just the two of them in the car and she wasn’t getting out, I wouldn’t see a reason for her to wear one.

Andrei has really grown on me too. I did not like him at all until the last couple of episodes. But he has redeemed himself. Libby’s family is pure trash…even her father, who I wanted to like, can not let go of his disdain for Andrei. And that Charlie…I wanted to punch him in the face. He kept talking about his father having 7 kids and he didn’t shell out for their weddings like he did for Andrei’s. NO! He did not shell out for Andrei, he shelled out for Libby, his daughter. Charlie showed her no love or respect. He clearly was only concerned about his inheritance, and that drunken speech he made was so offensive. He and his sister are despicable.

Libby has her hands full but not with Andrei or the baby. It’s her brother and sister, the ugly Americans that are the problem. They were rude, loud , ignorant and entitled. I don’t like either of them.

wow, that picture of larissa? She doesn’t even look like the same person. People! LEAVE your faces alone! I’ve been in Newport Beach since February and the amount of surgery on people around here is terrifying. even during covid, they are getting surgery. Idiots. meanwhile, I’m liking Andrei now. Man, he is hot. Libby’s family (including Libby BTW) are what all other countries refer to when they say “ugly, loud americans”. Dear God they are just horrible. That food looked incredible and they freaked out. Lox? Salmon? Whats not to like. That hideous family better not get a spin off show. We switched to TLC to get away from bravo.
