Big Brother All Stars Recap: The Blackout Continues

September 20, 2020 by tamaratattles 47 Comments

Big brother All Stars RecapTonight’s episode is an hour and a half long so I am expecting a double eviction. I’m watching this season like a casual for the most part. Even though I have the feeds, I can’t ever seem to get over there to watch anything. So this Big Brother All Stars Recap will all be news to me because I have no idea what is happening. It appears what is happening is that football ran late and we are about 20 minutes behind. Sigh. That was the longest 20 minutes of my life. 🙂 Let’s do this!

The one thing I do know is that Memphis won HOH. For some reason we have to go back to the plan to split the votes on Ian’s eviction. This is old, irrelevant news at this point. Kevin and Day don’t seem to trust David at all. That’s kind of news I guess. I was hoping they were a tighter three. Kevin stupidly runs to Dani with the news. Back at the HOH comp, it seems kind of crazy that Memphis wins a mental comp. David was close to the HOH win. That would have made for a great week. Sadly, we never get to have a great week.

David Gets Set Up

Day is convinced that David was the one who didn’t vote to evict Tyler. Dani is working hard to set David up. Nicole is aiding and abetting. Kevin is also believing that David is the vote flipper. Sigh. Maybe these people deserve to lose. I still hate Nicole though. And Dani. This is all as tragic as Day’s hair on this episode. David super angry and having a fit.

Oh no! It’s taco night. Taco night on Big Brother is like dinners on a housewives show. Day picks Christmas to be a have not. David picks Cody to be a have not. This means he can’t eat the tacos he just made. I love it! Christmas is pissed that Day picked her to be a have not. Really? She put her and her BFF on the block!

David Gets Set Up Again

Dani, Nicole and Christmas all take a bath together. Is Christmas allowed to do that as a Have Not? They are plotting for a female winner. This is as unlikely as a girls alliance ever making it on this show. The best are is that Nicole falls on her ass getting out of the tub. Christmas laughs her ass off. Neither one bothers to ask if she is okay. Also why is this show an hour and a half long?

Memphis cuts a deal with David to keep him off the block if he doesn’t change the noms if he wins veto. But somehow he is also trying to backdoor him? How does that even make sense? Maybe this show was only an hour, it just came on half an hour (plus twenty minutes) late. Memphis nominates Day and Kevin. But Memphis really wants to backdoor David. David says if he wins POV he will take one of them down. OMG! Wednesday night is ZING BOT! I can’t wait!

Meanwhile, I am off to watch Love Island. It’s going to be a big episode!

My DVR cut off with 15-20mins to go…GRRRRRR!!!!!!!

This show is exacerbating my unresolved anger issues from 2020. I’m gonna watch “Power: Book 2” and then go to the feeds before I eat every fucking thing in my got damn house.

Yeah you have to be careful of Sunday night shows. It was 20 minutes behind and fucked up my whole DVR schedule. I am super into Love Island. Mostly because of the gay guy that does the voice overs. If there was a channel with nothing but him talking,,.. I would never recap another show, go bankrupt but be super happy. 🙂 I need to just talk to me about anything on some sort of audio outlet. He is THE BEST THING about 2020.

I will give Love Island a try, I need more escapism programming in my life. I will binge this week if it’s available. Just point me in the direction of anything that takes my mind off of 2020, My Fearless Leader.

Check CBS on Demand. I must tell you that the show itself is really stupid. REALLY STUPID, But it is sort of like Big Brother. It usually happens on an island but this year they are on a Vegas rooftop. I am not very invested in the cast, just the narrator… but if you could start from the beginning it is mindless stupidity that makes me happy. 20 somethings are so dumb and it is fun to laugh at them.

The show was only an hour. It ended right after nominations. I hate these people this year. Why the hell did Kevin go running to Dani? He gave her & Nicole the opportunity to set up David. Day annoyed me this week. She needs to stop blaming David for her game not going the way she wants it to. She needs to focus on what’s really going on around her. Christmas had a fat lot of nerve getting upset because she’s a have not this week. Same with Cody. Too bad, so sad, he didn’t get to have a taco. I keep hoping David will win Power of Veto so Memphis can’t backdoor him, but I don’t see that happening.

Zingbot apparently really zinged Christmas pretty good. I don’t want to spoil it so I won’t say it yet, but she and Nicole were complaining/whining about the zing’s late night on the feeds. And of course Christmas was delusional and tried to reframe what Zingbot said about her into a positive spin.

OK so I am like Day and I can’t keep anything to myself. If you don’t want to know what Zingbot said then look the other way. lol
This is according to Christmas and Nicole so it may or may not be accurate.
Christmas’s zing was a zinger. He said she was cold, annoying and stress inducing.
              Dani is “old and obsolete.”
Tyler….”what do you call a guy who says getting the girl is better than 500K? A liar.”
Nicole’s was hearing her voice makes people want to die and she whines and cries a lot.

Love Nicole’s and Xmas’s! Thanks for sharing those. I heard the whining, but not the zings.

Terrible season…I am really upset at how David is being treated by both sides. Da’Vonne should be ashamed. She will have many moments of guilt and more when she finds out the truth. I do hope that Tyler and Xmas both tell her it was Nicole who flipped the vote on Ian in their goodbye messages like they talked about yesterday. I don’t care which one, Da’Vonne or Kevin, goes to jury on Thursday. Neither one has a clue this season and it’s horrible to watch.

It makes sense in Memphis’s mind because the term “back door” is only ACTUALLY a back door if the person who gets voted out never gets a chance to play in the veto, which is what Memphis thinks he is making David do. If David gets picked to play, technically, even if he did throw it, it wouldn’t truly be a back door, because he DID have a chance. So that’s what Memphis was going for using the term back door. Thank God David knows better and said if he gets picked he is absolutely gonna play for real.

And this season continues to suck.

I didn’t care for Bayleigh but I have more issue with Daye. I guess she BLM stance was tossed by the wayside once she was on the block. She campaigned against her ride or die and now she has turned on David, deciding he cannot be trusted. There is only one BL that matters to her. Way to go Daye!

I really really really hope that Nicole is found out! All she had to do was vote to keep Ian and put the blood on Dani. I am about done watching this show. It really has become like high school. The mean kids against the band geeks. The Quarterback and head cheerleader always win king and queen. It is time to see some revenge of the nerds!!!!

Day has represented for BLM consistently whether on the block or off. She has shown strength and fortitude without fail, even though she doesn’t have reliable allies to work with. She doesn’t trust David because he hasn’t been upfront with her, and he doesn’t learn from his mistakes.
When you say she campaigned against her ride or die, do you mean Bayleigh? If so, she really didn’t do that. They agreed to try to save themselves when they were on the block as a way to get more information, trying to act like they weren’t “together” in a last ditch effort to both stay in the game.

In Day’s defense, David has been shady with her and talks in circles and riddles. Even when he is telling the truth his delivery makes her doubt him. She tends to overthink everything, but being on the outside of the major alliance all season hasn’t given her much to work with. She and Kevin are usually holed up together trying to figure everything out but the rest of the houseguests (besides David) are controlling the game. Even when Day and Kevin seem to have a good grasp on things it’s never close enough to get ahead. Unfortunately David has repeatedly blown up Day’s game by mistake or by trusting the wrong people.
If Tyler doesn’t use the veto, Day will probably go home this week. It doesn’t look good and there isn’t going to be anyone left to root for.
I’ll still watch the feeds just to hate-watch and make myself miserable because bad-Big Brother is better than no-Big Brother, right? Oy vey.

First of all, HELLO old timer. Thanks for commenting. Secondly, it’s a fucking shame that “the black people” have to be an alliance of people they don’t necessarily like in 2020. why is it not possible that people in this house always have to ally according to race?

TRUTH. It’s so messed up. I don’t know how Day has managed to not knock some damn sense into David’s naive, delusional head. And she is expected to just suck it up and work with him because he is black. Or better yet, they are supposed to just sit and wait to be picked off one by one by the whites in power. And anytime she starts to talk about it the feeds go to stars.
LOL I’m an old-timer alright. Still here. Shufflin’ along.

That’s the way it is. Instead of aligning with Ian (who was bullied and deemed an outsider) Kaysar and Kevin, they worked with people who were clearly against their interests. Kaysar was one of the best players and would have had strategies. Behave as though your are aligned with others but never vote the other out, if possible. They had a chance, but they blew it.
I believe Enzo Christmas, and obviously, Memphis, have race issues. NJ is notorious, they have the most white supremist in the USA. Nope – it’s not the south – it’s NJ.

Wow, I felt bad for David. Sneaky assholes setting him up.
However, Kevin & Day should have known that he didn’t have anything to gain by doing that. HE was the one who really wanted to do it.
I know it’s full of paranoia in there, but they should have at least considered ho they “All Stars” know how to play the game and blame stuff on others….And are assholes!

I still like David a lot, but on the other hand….I guess he is coming off strangely to Day & Kevin. He does seem a little shady for some reason even though he isn’t!

I feel bad for David, too, but he has some responsibility with how unwilling he has been to talk normally to Day. Sometimes he talks so slowly, kind of like Eyore, and responds in riddles instead of having a normal conversation. When he was pretending not to have a power it was just so weird that I can’t believe anyone could take him seriously. BUT – on top of that he has been used by everyone and taken advantage of. So even if he wasn’t being shady on his own, Nicole was blowing up his game and adding to any doubts Day already had.
Maybe if Day is leaving he and Kevin will finally team up and trust each other, I don’t know.
        I hope so.

So, Dani was not the real mastermind to set up David. All of it was Rat Nicole so she could make Ian think she voted for him. Plus, they wanted to set up David since Day didn’t trust him. They were already doing all of this way before Kevin said a freaking word to Dani. There is a montage on Twitter showing Rat Nicole and all her acting practice. Production is trying to hide what Nicole did because casuals still like her. Also, to cover for her with her sponsors for laughing at Dani and Memphis making fun of Ian’s autistic tics. But, too late, most of Rat Nicole’s sponsors have already dropped her. ?

I think I have to drop out watching this season. I really hate it. The people I like are playing a terrible game or have been evicted. The people in the damn Commission suuuuuuuuuck. Christmas is a whiny baby. Ditto Nicole. Dani is just a vindictive, manipulative person. I am okay with Enzo and Cody. Memphis is disgusting.

I actually went back to watch an old season and I picked the OG Dan and Memphis season. I didn’t even make it through the first episode. I forgot how conservative Dan was. No wonder he and Memphis are friends. Young Memphis was even more cringey than old Memphis. Now I am watching Enzo’s OG season and it’s amazing! Rachel, Brendan, Enzo, Britney, Lane, Hayden, love this season!!!
