It’s time for another Big Brother All Stars Recap! Apologizes for not recapping last Sunday. There is a lot going on with the site and the technical crap and to be honest, it’s been sort of a nightmare. I have tech support for both the site hosts, and the security guys and lately I have been the go between between the two groups. One will say things like ask the other guys for the dkjso wjwiirshire reports and the unladen swallow speed from last Tuesday. Then the other says to ask the other group for the hokey pokie reports for the event log from gerkenstein. I have no idea what I am asking for or even how to transfer the reports to the other team. My brain hurts. But I promise to try to get through this recap as best as I can.
If You Are In All The Alliances, You Are Not In An Alliance
By the way, feeds have been crap the past few days. Another wall yeller tried to get a message to the hamsters yesterday and it seems security was out there. Feeds were down for hours. Plus we have a new Skippy this year who sends us to stars whenever anyone says a name. Or the name of a movie or TV show. It’s insane.
Before the show starts, I thought I would mention how incredibly stupid these players are. The majority alliance “The Committee” is the worst alliance ever. And they all have another sub alliance or three. Here is how that breaks down.
The Committee: Cody, Dani, Tyler, Nicole, Christmas, and Memphis
Slick Six: Cody, Dani, Tyler, Enzo, Day, and Bay
Four Prime: Cody, Dani, Nicole, and Ian.
The Core Four: Cody, Dani, Nicole, and Enzo
Basically, The Committee majority alliance, however Enzo is also part of that alliance though not officially. So it is those seven against everyone else. As you can see Cody and Dani are in all four alliances. This is not how alliances work. Le sigh. Anyway, on to this episode.
I’m A Queen, Not A Pawn!
Kevin may be a bit clueless about this game (though he has been coming around a bit lately with a bit of help from a wall yeller) but he has some great one liners. Kaysar and Kevin both go to Enzo to plead their cases. Kaysar tries to get Enzo to work with him, but Enzo isn’t really interested. David is worried about his place in the house. And he should be. He’s been an option for every HOH to put up every week. Cody and Enzo are very close. Cody seems to be able to manipulate the HOH no matter who it is.
I loved Mornings with Memphis. I should try to see if I can catch “future episodes.” Kevin asks David to play veto for him if he gets the chance. I like this pair, but sadly, I doubt it will last. When the time comes to pick players, of course Tyler’s name is drawn first. He’s been in every veto. There are a lot of conspiracy theories about how that keeps happening. Especially since Tyler and Cody are Grodner’s chosen ones. Kaysar draws Bayleigh and Kevin does get houseguest’s choice and picks David.
The Puppet Master
Kaysar tries to explain the situation in the house to Bayleigh. Bayleigh is offended that he is mansplaining to her. He’s not. He is trying to give his take on the house. Bayleigh has been a straight up bitch to Kaysar all week. So have a lot of people. It’s disgusting. But particularly from Bayleigh who is just the worst. Tyler and Enzo are super confident that one of them will win. They don’t give anyone else who is playing any respect. The veto challenge is an endurance challenge where the players have their arms and legs in ropes (to look like puppet strings). Dani says if anyone in the house is the puppet master it’s her. She has a very high opinion of herself.
The players arms and legs are pulled in different directions until everyone falls off their ropes except for the winner. Suddenly, they shoot green goop at the players really hard. Then the shoot pink goop for good measure. Kaysar loses one of his handles and falls first. Dammit! Enzo goes next. This is not a big man’s comp. Tyler goes down after 27 minutes. David is shaking a lot. Bayleigh loses one of her ropes and falls trying to get it back. At one point Kevin is hanging by one rope and shaking hard. David is not dropping. He wants to prove he deserves to be in the house. This is an epic comp!
Queen Comes Down, Pawn Goes Up
Somehow Kevin gets both of his feet back. For some reason this makes me emotional. David falls and everyone cheers Kevin’s win. I AM NOT CRYING. THAT WOULD BE RIDICULOUS. Kevin has won a very physical comp! Yaaaaas Queen! Kevin sobs in the DR covered in paint. He needed to prove to himself that he could win.
Dani wants the Slick Six to meet and tells Tyler they need to meet right in front of Nicole who is not in that alliance. Did she do that on purpose? I think so. Dani has been stirring the pot all week long. She’s trying to turn everyone on each other. Tyler suggests to Enzo that he could just backdoor Dani because she is becoming a problem. Enzo considers it. But eventually he takes the easy way out and puts up Christmas who offered herself as a pawn.
