Onward and upward to the MAFS Australia recap! Mishel and Steve and Connie and Jonethen are both on a rocky path. Both guys seem to be done with the experiment. Mishel is FURIOUS with Steve. Connie is hurt. Cathy wants to call out Michael for his cheating ways. But it seems like she and Josh are fine. Plus, tonight we have the first dinner party with the two new couples. Mishel is being awful to Steve. These two are toast. They are the first to arrive to dinner. They both immediately have a beverage. Mishel is literally double fisting the drinks. Aleks and Ivan arrive next and it is obvious to both of them that Mishel and Steve are barely speaking.
When Drew and KC’s arrival for the first time seems to make Stacey seems intimidated by them. KC is very pretty. Stacey is rude to KC. Then Lizzie and Seb arrive and everyone is shocked to see Lizzie. Lizzie hates Michael right away. Lizzie and KC hit it off right away. Josh goes in on Michael right away. Michael is not drinking or going out without Stacey. Cathy and Josh are way to involved with Michael and Stacey’s relationship. The other relationship getting tons of attention is Mischel and Steve. They seem like they are no going to make it through the commitment ceremony. Steve is furious with Mishel. Lizzie seems really good at getting camera time.
Steve storms out of the dinner party and ignores producers. He does the whole housewife thing and rips off his microphone. Josh goes after him. But he appears to be done.
The Commitment Ceremonies
Cathy and Josh are up first. They have had a good week. Josh is concerned that they are more like friends than romantic. Josh’s comments are surprising to everyone, especially Cathy. They both choose to stay. Next up we have Stacey and Michael. They both also choose to stay. Stacey says she is in love with Michael. He’s also in love with Stacey. Everyone seems skeptical. But I think they are a great match. They are both superficial. Ivan and Aleks are next. These two refuse to discuss if they are sexually intimate or not. Aleks is so irritated with the sexual intimacy questions, she suggests that perhaps she and Ivan should leave and persue their marriage off camera. But they both decide to stay.
Newcomers, Lizzie and Sebastian are up next. Lizzie’s knees look like she has been getting it doggy style on a hardwood floor. I’m just saying. They are both staying. Next we have Connie and Jonethen. I really want Connie to find happiness. She had a great week and Jonethen has not. Last week, Connie voted to leave and Jonethen voted to stay. This week it is the reverse. Here is hoping that they can get to a place where they are both happy at the same time.
KC and Drew, the other new couple are up next. KC brings up a strange doll that he has in his luggage from his female roommate. She is upset by his allegations that she is jealous. Micheal and Stacey are laughing at them. They are assholes. Drew and KC both vote to stay.
The last couple to go is Steve and Mischel. I think they need to call it quits. They are not a good match. I like Steve a lot. Mischel…not so much. Mischel feels that Steve has betrayed her by talking about his lack of attraction toward her in his interviews, but never mentioning it to her. Steve votes to leave, and Mischel votes to stay. So they have another week to work it out.
Next week: The brides go to visit their grooms homes. And crack begin to form with Josh and Cathy. Lizzie and Seb’s new marriage also faces some challenges.
