It’s time for another Below Deck Med recap. These charter guests are super annoying. Captain Sandy is also getting more annoying by the hour. I am also annoyed because it is hot as balls in the shack today. The air has been set to 67 for several days straight and it is currently 80 degrees in here. It’s impossible to stay hydrated, so my head, she is hurting. Poor Kiko is also hot from working his ass off in the kitchen and having a rough night. After a fantastic six course meal for twelve, he is really tanking this dinner service. It almost feels like story line.
Somehow, everyone survives to see day two of this charter. Kiko is still beating himself about the dinner service the night before. So of course Sandy is rubbing salt in Kiko’s wounds. One of the charter guests randomly announces it is his birthday. So I guess Kiko will be expected to make a cake he did not buy provisions for. It seems the deck crew is also falling apart. Even Rob is on edge and he’s usually on top of things. Jessica suddenly can’t understand Bugsy’s accent. The charter guests food and drink requests are insane.
Sandy Has A Knack For Making A Bad Situation Worse
Sandy walks in on Jessica and Bugsy fighting. This is one hot mess of a charter. Sandy is so annoying. Bugsy is frustrated about the running of the interior. The birthday boy gets a Mariachi band for his dinner party. Sandy hovers over Kiko driving him nuts. The band is a lot of fun at least. The guests are happy with the food. It looks like this might be a better night. Until one of the vegans said he didn’t want any pasta. So just eat some air then. And the texture of the prawns is off. The vegan also complains that the cake is not vegan. The guests tell Sandy that dinner was “average.” This has to be story line.
The guests prefer Bugsy to Hannah. While that is not shocking, what does shock me is that Bugsy hugs all the guests good night when they go to bed. That’s peculiar. Because Sandy moved the boat to a new location overnight, the deck crew has had to take the slide and water toys up and redeploy everything the next morning. Kiko is stressed and depressed about this charter. It’s effecting his cooking. Jessica needs to be shown how to replace a vacuum cleaner bag in the vacuum. It’s like everyone has been struck dumb. Also no one acknowledges the guests sitting at the breakfast table. Sandy wakes Bugsy up. Sandy says it seems like Hannah has checked out. She’s not wrong about that. But Sandy makes things worse.
Can We PUHLEASE Get These Guests Off The Boat?
Malia is thrilled she gets to drive the boat. Finally, we get to the dock to offload these fools. But not before the guests complain about the food and praise Bugsy. This doesn’t bode well for Hannah. Rumors are that Hannah gets fired on camera this season. Jess whines to Rob (in between making out) about Hannah. I just noticed this episode is 90 minutes long! That’s fine I guess because I really haven’t had much to say so far. This charter was one fuckup after another. Or more likely, Andy has tacked WWHL on to the show again.
At the tip meeting, Sandy threatens to fire people. They got $15,000 in tips. That is probably the smallest tip of the season. Sandy calls Hannah to the aft deck for a lecture. Sandy is acting like she wants to fire Kiko! Is she on crack? Then Sandy lectures Kiko. With two charters left, she threatens to fire Kiko. That will never happen. Next week, it looks like Malia has to save idiots on jetskis. And yes it is WWHL tacked on again.
