Random Blips Of Reality TV News (OPEN FORUM)

June 26, 2020 by tamaratattles 72 Comments

90 Day Fiance RecapWell, it’s Friday and it seems we have all survived another week. Or maybe for you life has become one big boring weekend. Here is some random reality TV news of the day. Or talk about whatever you want.

In 90 Day Fiance land Baby Girl Lisa and Usman are embroiled in a social media war. I believe the gist of it is that Baby Girl Lisa is furious that Usman told everyone at the Tell All that she uses the N word toward Usman when she gets angry. Despite eventually admitting it, Baby Girl Lisa wanted to sue for defamation. Clearly, she doesn’t get that admitting something is true kin’s da makes a defamation case impossible to win. Or maybe she does now.  Because the new plan is to withhold $26,000 that Usman made doing Cameos. Wow, people have disposable income for Cameos right now? Baby Girl Lisa has been dropped from the show and is no longer allowed to do publicity interviews.

Reality TV NewsWest Coast Reality TV News

In other Lisa news, Lisa Rinna has been gagged by QVC on social media. She is no longer allowed to talk about political issues on her own social media. Rinna who has posted in support of Pride month and Black Lives Matter recently. She claims a bunch of “Karens” contacted QVC threatening to boycott her clothing line. QVC responded by telling her not to post her political views.  Oh and while I’m talking about Rinna, she posted a bunch of completely nude photos in IG recently. On the day she started, I went to my IG and they had taken down two of my posts. One had a photo of a 90 day couple, the redhead and the bald guy who fought a lot but are still together. They were in a bubble bath, sitting facing each other literally no nudity. It was a screen grab from the show. And the other photo didn’t have any nudity either. I can’t remember what it was but also a screen grab. So weird.

Also in Beverly Hills, Mohamed Hadid is trying to play the race card. I’ve posted many times about Mohamed’s hillside monstrosity that endangers all the homes below him. They have been trying to tell him he has to tear it down for years, but he just ignores the zoning laws and carries on. Then he tried to claim bankruptcy as reason why he could not tear it down. That didn’t fly either. It seems he is now going to be forced to do it finally. And he is making a big stink in the most obnoxious way. He is claiming racism! It’s not the billion zoning violations. It’s because he is Palestinian and Muslim. That makes him a sad excuse for a Palestinian and Muslim and a human being. And it pisses me off. My Sylvester Stallone will kick his ass.

Reality TV newsAnd, Of Course Jenelle Is Doing Shady Stuff

Over in Weho, it seems that Scheana Shay has been having lots of sex with her boyfriend Brock. And she got pregnant the natural way. But sadly she lost the baby on the same day that news broke that Stassi Schroeder was pregnant. Stassi eventually revealed that she and Beau are having a girl. Scheana announced her sad news on her podcast.

And finally, Jenelle Evans is really going to great lengths to scam people out of money. Recently, she tried to set up a fan site with multiple levels of access. The highest level of access was around $75 a month or so. I tried to look up the levels, but it seems as though that didn’t work out that well. So now she is scamming her Instagram followers trying to sell the a $100 blackhead remover tool. She offers them a 50% discount by using her coupon code. The exact same product is available all over Amazon for $25. She’s going to have to find another way to pay for David’s criminal attorney and hopefully, some attorneys to try and keep her kids again.

So what are your weekend plans? I’m trying to make better choices and clean up this hoarder house this weekend and trying to eat better and move more. I’ve been a lump on a log pretty much since March 13th. And they lump is ginormous. Yesterday I took a shower, washed my hair, put on clean clothes and did a bunch of dishes, so… progress? Also I am almost finished bingeing The Chi on Showtime in preparation for season three with Kandi Burruss. It’s really good. I’m open to other suggestions on HBO, Showtime, Starz, Epix etc. Reminder, I don’t do Netflix or Prime or any of those things not on Spectrum.

I bought some “special herb products” yesterday, and I still have Scotch and wine in the fridge, so I’m ready for the weekend. I can only hope my state’s new mask rule helps rein in the Covidiots. In the meantime, I guess I’ll just have to continue making the best out of quarantine.

Every blues festival in the country has been canceled except the Big Blues Bender in Las Vegas in September. They’re awaiting rules from the governor regarding what can happen when, and Nevada has kept them waiting. Lots of people in limbo. Mostly older people. This fest is held in a hotel resort…I can’t recall which one (if you want to know, I’ll go look). Crazy. You could not pay me to go to that. Stay safe! Wear a mask.

I got my herb delivery a few days ago. I don’t drink much; never found anything I liked well enough. But I’m set for the next couple of months now. I went to Costco a couple of hours ago to pick up three prescriptions and return some batteries. CROWDED! Everyone masked, of course, but so many people! I went at a time the pharmacy tech told me was the quietest, even on a Friday. But no. I didn’t even go into the warehouse. Couldn’t wait to get outside to take my mask off. And traffic has definitely returned. Happy to be in my safe haven again… Stay safe tattlers!

Must be a Deb thing 🙂 – I’m good to go too and not a drinker at all!! Traffic HAS returned around here that’s for sure. It was eerie the first couple times out driving when the stay at home order went into effect but I got used to it and am not looking forward to crowded roads again.

I think a lot of people can relate to you. I just decided 2 months ago I was sick of being sick. I might have started smoking due to stress but if I want one, I need to go for a walk. I started out with a goal of 5k steps/day. Then moved up to 10k. Now I think I am going to do 15k a day. I read about trashy reality TV while walking. Probably should just walk. Forgot to add I listen to podcast or Jeff Lewis while doing it too. I feel almost normal after reading & listening to info about “reality stars”.

If you want to have someone to join you in moving around, let me know. It’s easier to do when you are doing with others.

I had surgety on my lungs with biopsy 3 weeks ago at Mayo & they still haven’t called with results. I know it was abnormal because I can see the results to some extent. I am a hot mess. Oh well. It is going to be hot & humid in MN this weekend so I am hoping to go to my sisters pool to sit my butt on a floating & do nothing!

USUALLY, no news is good news. When my dad got his biopsy, they called the next day and wanted him in surgery that day. Since then, everyone I know who knows someone who was bad off has had the same experience.

Amelia, I’m happy you are walking. I listen to podcasts and music while I walk and it helps.

What is not acceptable is Mayo making you wait for results. Usually bad news is fast, but you want to know. I have had to annoy people to get my lab results but it shouldn’t be necessary.

    All airing Sunday

HBO: I’ll Be Gone In the Dark begins Sunday. From Michelle McNamara’s book of the same name. About her obsessive search for the man she dubbed the Golden State Killer. (Previously known as the East Area ((Sacramento)) Rapist, the Original Night Stalker ((So. Calif.)) and the Visalia Ransacker before DNA proved the three names were one man.) While hunting the killer and researching for her book, McNamara ignored her health issues and died (age 44?) leaving behind her husband, actor Patton Oswalt, and young daughter. The special, I believe covers the book material — it reads like poetry — and her search and death.

ID Discovery: Airing repeat episodes of The Golden State Killer: It’s Not Over to coincide with the release of I’ll Be Gone In the Dark. This miniseries aired weeks before the arrest of a suspect (a few miles from my home) in 2018.

Showtime: Penny Dreadful: City of Angels takes place in 1938 L.A. Fiction that draws on the history of Los Angeles — the Zoot Suit War, the water rights (It’s Chinatown, boss) and pending WWII. It has some supernatural elements, but it is character-driven drama.

Starz: Hightown – After she finds a body washed ashore, a National Marine Fisheries officer is drawn in the high-powered investigation of an opioid ring and the killings involved in it.

I actually trying to be less anxious and depressed. That is why finding movies is so hard. They are all so gruesome. And I generally have very little information about the movies on most channels. So I kind of have to guess. But even reading the title lists is …depressing. Don’t they make movies about nice things anymore? I like movies set in Europe or North Africa or the Middle East that aren’t about war or terminal illness or any of the sad shit I try to keep off of this site. It’s hard to find anything intriguing, like a good mystery or a romance…

I wanted to see that movie… I think it was called the Spy Who Dumped me. “Do you want to go to Paris and die? Or die having never gone to Paris?” was a line from the trailer that totally sold me on the movie. I’d like something like that. I accidentally had Hall Pass on in the background earlier. It was more stupid than funny, but still better than the news.

I think the biggest issue is that shows and movies are going onto the subscription services only. Which sucks if you don’t have them. Networks are even requiring their own subscriptions even if you have cable. I am pretty tired of getting told good shows and not being able to see them because I refuse to pay for each different subscription.

Is that the show centering on this hillbilly family called the Whites, we’re the Whole family is on disability and they all drink, do drugs and are proud of it. The grandfather(I think) tap dances, lives next to a rail line and one of the daughters (?) still thinks she’s a stripper? If it is, FLUKIN HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!
If you look at it from an entertainment standpoint. Just a bunch of (seriously) backwoods people. The grandmother once said, “Don’t be smoking that dope in my house, now pass me my perks”. (Percocet)

Hot for Holes and Jonesing for Jensen, I love them both. Paul Holes is my hero. He got the Golden State Killer (suspect) one month after we moved to Sacramento. About 40 feet from our home, there is a dry canal. I can FEEL the GSK there. I know he creepy crawled it. No one will convince me otherwise. One neighbor, who has lived here 45 years, thinks so too. When we moved here, I made The Fiancée double check EVERY LOCK EVERY NIGHT. I knew he was old, but he was still loose. Nightmares every night. Until Paul Holes’s 23 years of work came to fruition.

My day started off awful… I am a teacher and had to deal with an upset parent this morning at 8:00 a.m. I love being a teacher but having your character attacked is not cool. I have been doing this for over twenty years and although I have so many great families, the bad ones really take it out of you. I am blessed though because I have a true love for teaching and working with children and most of the time people can see that… I know I need to let this go and move on to a great weekend…. I guess I just needed to vent and am thankful for this open post.

If you are interested in Bears, check out Katmai National Park live bear cams. The rangers do live events and online Q &A and talk about the bears and salmon. They know them all and each bear has a number. Most of the viewers also know the bears and give them names. (which you aren’t supposed to do but even the Rangers use the names ) Every year you see which ones had cubs. The fight for dominance btw the big boys and the salmon jumping up over the falls.

What you eat and drink has been the “definitive” weight loss/gain theory since about 2000. Exercise makes everything work better — body and mind — and makes a better-toned body. If you sre exercising, you aren’t on the couch eating bonbons. BUT it takes a shitton of exercise to burn off one calorie. Go on a 500 mile bike ride, then have a Fudgesickle and the weight is back.

Also, I am going to take a shower, which is quite a production these days. I am also going Ron TRY to shave my legs! Lastly, since I can do more stuff, I am going to do some getting rid of shit (papers etc.) in anticipation of garbage day early next week. That is marvelous news. Isn’t it amazing how much you can treasure doing the things you took for granted before your body takes a (temporary) dive?

Before I got REALLY bad off, I got my first real aging/injury wake up when I couldn’t wipe my ass one morning. I had to get in a hot shower and make the spray hit my lower back to get flexible enough. Since then, I am thankful it hasn’t happened again. More pain, but more flexibility.

I have to put this down in words and I have nowhere else to put it. My mother told me when I was 16 or 17 that I was unlovable. I believed her. I moved 2000 miles away from my family at 20, to cali. I met a man that was not good for me, he treated me badly, but then I knew was unlovable. I met another man, in 2002, a crackhead, and he tore my heart in two. I loved him though. Now, at 61, I have no hope for love in my life, and I feel bad for me. I wouldn’t know how to love someone at this age. What I do know, at this age, is a life lived without love is an empty life. I’m sad for me and pissed at that bitch that was my mother. There, I said it. I feel good now, but still empty.

Before you give up hope, if you haven’t read the True Romance of MizzGrandma and Flyboy on here, you need to find it. If someone wrote it as fiction, you might say that could never happen, but it did. It IS!

THIS IS CORNY, but it is true. Try to learn to love yourself. It sounds easy, but with past experiences like ours, it’s not.

One thing I decided a couple years ago after some harrowing years — it sounds weird — but I decided I WAS GOING TO BE HAPPY. I still have very tough times, like now, mourning my little bird, but in general, I was just sick of being sad all the time. There were lots of reasons for me to BE sad, but I just got sick of the shit ruining my life. Something clicked. For the first time in decades I decided that I wanted to live. Still working on depression, but it’s easier.

As for your mother — FUCK YOU (mother) YOU FUCKING FUCKED UP BITCH! If only we had understood that when fucked up people tell us things we don’t need to believe what they say. Remember, that even the BTK killer is a dad. Moms and dads can be fucking assholes. Blood IS thicker than water. But love is thicker than blood. You get to CHOOSE who you love, choose your family.

From what I read here, mothers can do so much damage, especially when they are damaged themselves. Dainty, what your mother said to you was her own experience, and unfortunately you may have been victim to men who knew how to manipulate a damaged person.

That in no way means you aren’t worthy of love. You may not know how to recognize it when you see it because you are so used to abuse.

Imagine being told by your mother that the only reason you are here, was because your father caught her before she got to the abortion clinic. Then at 16 kicked you out of the house and changed the locks. I had to go live with my boyfriend who was much older and a drug dealer. Caught double pneumonia and my Dad had to bring me back home where my mother continued to berate everything I did. Then at 18, got involved with another much older man (31) who was married but separated until she found out and wanted him back. Finally got my own apt, then turned around and dated the biggest drug dealer in Brooklyn. (Bad choices all the way) Thought I got some sense and married a good guy, turns out he was trash too. Mentally abusive. I finally found myself when I was completely by myself. And I’ve never looked back. I have 4 awesome friends who love me Just the way I am. Daintyfeets Love yourself, be kind to yourself and never look back! I love you, if that helps! ????

Don’t give up! I get the mom thing. My mom never said I was good enough and I ended up with a man that I should have kicked to the curb 20 years ago. Now he’s sick so I’m in it for the remainder. I hope to have peace sometime in my life at some point.

I’m hoping the rumors are true about Big Brother 22 starting in July and being an “all stars” or even just an all-returning players season. It would save the summer for me.

So baby girl Lisa is surprised that Usman announced publicly her use of the n word and wants to sue for defamation of character and is withholding money from him? That is a whole new level of insensitivity. No embarrassment or apology for using such a hateful word. She defamed herself when she used it on AA that she supposedly cared about.

Thought I would comment for the very first time. I live in the boonies in northwestern Quebec,Canada. I am a loner by nature and have found staying home surprisingly difficult. The second they said I could not go out, I wanted to go out. Go figure. I am old and overweight so I find this whole thing stressful. I read a lot, watch t.v., work in my garden but it is very rough. I am really not into movies, but I have been a readaholic since I was 8. I love whodunnits, thrillers and would gladly discuss that. I used to watch the housewives but that got old quick. I loved Southern Charm the first 3 seasons but no longer. I really love Southern Charm New Orleans and I hope there is a season 3. The guys are hot and I love the city. This site has helped keep me sane throughout this pandemic and I appreciate all the effort Tamara puts into it and I love her style. I too would love to sell up and move to Europe, but getting old now to start over. Thanks for the laughs, the thought provoking comments and what feels like friendship over the miles. Take care everyone.

I’m the exact same way about hating that I CAN’T leave the house. At least without four panic attacks, two masks and a pair of gloves. I think of things I need but I neglect to write them down as I realize I need them. Then I freak out fairly quickly and flee with whatever made it to the basket. `

As for fleeing to Europe…it seems rather difficult especially now that Europe is opening up July 1st to foreign tourist but NOT ALLOWING IN AMERICANS because our fucktard president is trying to kill us all because HE doesn’t want to wear a mask. Frankly I don’t want him or half of Florida to wear masks. I guess I’ll go to Costa Rica if I ever get the passport that I mailed in for renewal In early March. /heavysigh

SE Virginia here. I have posted earlier how most of our population is considered essential. That means a lot of folks are out and about and have been since March. The good news is that we are kicking this thing in the ass. We are also a tourist destination and have had Yankees fleeing here, bringing their bugs with them. We will be going on to phase 3 July 1. We have had massive testing going on since we have a lot of govt., military and govt. contractors. We have been steadily decreasing in infections and hospitalization. Hopefully, it will allow the schools to open in the fall as I really, really worry about the kids who may be left behind. I was really happy to see the school system jump on giving away meals and heavily advertising times and places, loading school buses and parking them all over the city, particularly in the less wealthy neighborhoods. I have enjoyed seeing neighbors walking and riding bikes as families. So there is hope y’all. There is hope. Just keep being responsible for yourself. Just do not throw your gloves and masks in the damn parking lot please and thank you. And wash your hands constantly and don’t touch your face. You’ll be okay.

Why does everyone still follow Lisa Rinna when she was with Harry Hamlin when he wore the swastika T-shirt. Rinna wasn’t very political that night but wants to be political now? Harry never apologized for the shirt incident. Shame on Rinna.

Regarding RHOBH, are there anymore episodes? I checked on demand and it looked like the last episode was Garcelle receiving her award and dissing Kyle, and Denise saying she had to leave early. Is that how this season ends? If so it’s kind of an odd last episode.

Not the last episode; just the last of mid season. They will eventually return with new episodes.Bravo is trying to postpone episodes due to stop on filming during lockdown & afraid to run out of new content. I believe N.J & Potomac have already started to film for this upcoming season.

Thanks for explaining. I couldn’t imagine a reunion coming next but couldn’t make sense there were no more episodes on demand.

        Now I understand, thanks!

Actually, the only reason for the delay was happening is that post production had to shut down for the virus. So the RHOBH had to do their own confessionals from home. The producers then had to drive to their houses to pick them up. Post production just got behind. No conspiracies here.

Around 9 pm Saturday night, my cable, Internet and phone went out for over three hours. While it was the most productive three hours of the quarantine, got some dishes washed, Vacuumed a bit, got clean sheets on the bed, and then took my second shower and hair washing in three days. When everything came back up, there was no volume on the main TV. This took another hour to fix. It was the worst four hours of my life! lol But I am eventually going to go to bed in my fancy sheets wearing clean PJs. Frankly, I would not have showered again if not for the new sheets. I would have just slept on the couch (that didn’t make the vacuuming cut this time) otherwise.

I hope this is an okay place to post this. I have very curly hair. My female relatives all have straight hair. No one was there to teach me how to deal with it. I’ve been watching videos from black women on how to tie a scarf. I identify as white, and I worry that some of the styles would be considered appropriation. I’m not selling anything, I just want to get my hair into a scarf. I there an acceptable style?
