I cannot for the life of me stay awake anymore. I am falling asleep during every show I try to watch on TV. Let’s see if I can keep myself awake long enough to get this Below Deck Sailing Yacht Recap done. It’s going to be a very Jenna/Adam focused episode this week. Adam is once again trying to dump Jenna, at least when the sailing season ends. Adam just wants to live in a van down by the river. Jenna would never go for that lifestyle. Oh wait, it seems like they are back together again already. Adam’s childhood sounds a lot like mine. Moving a lot and getting used to saying goodbye to friends. So, I do get where he is coming from, and frankly I am probably worse at relationships than he is.
Byron is taking drink orders from the guests because Jenna can’t disentangle herself from Adam. They are literally all over each other all the time. For some strange reason, Georgia has a two and a half hour break. Jenna then decides to take an hour break with Adam so they can hook up. This leaves Madison on service alone. What happened to giving the cancer patient the cruise of a lifetime? Glenn asks Ciara about the service situation. That seems kind of odd/scripted since he has never asked before. Ciara tells him that Jenna spends all her time with Adam and none of her time working. When Glenn talks to Madison, she doesn’t want to say a thing. There is only one more charter and she just wants to get through it with minimal drama.
Beware Of The Sea Bob!
The guests have brought silk pajamas for the crew so that they can have a pajama party. That’s weird, right? The crew all did a runway walk in their pajamas hoping to win the prize. I was quite sure that Captain Glenn would win. But Chris won the robe and two hundred dollars. The guests seem to really enjoy the show. Why are the girls cleaning toilets during service? Gross.
The deck crew has turned into the walking wounded. Chris has thrown his back out. And Paget just pulled a hamstring. Both injuries were caused by a very heavy sea bob. Both guys struggle to carry it together. Ciara is the only one who isn’t injured. Jenna and Adam have the nerve to complain about the state of the laundry room? Really? Chris has to climb the 60 foot mast with his bad back. That looks scary as fuck. Then it’s time for the guests to leave.
And it’s also time for Glenn to do a debrief and pass out the tips. I hope he goes in on Jenna and Adam. He’s got a doctor coming for Chris’s back and they are not going to use the sea bob again. Captain Glenn says the service is dropping for the interior. Jenna is furious. But she is happy to get her $1,400 for doing nothing. Then she tells Adam she is trying to control her rage. She’s acting like she is going to go off on Glenn. She better don’t! Glenn calls her in and talks to her about her lack of service. We won’t get to see it until next week. And next week looks good. Chris is going to be unable to work until he gets an MRI. And the new charter guests seem to have brought cocaine on the boat!
