I know I am behind on recaps but tonight a Below Deck Sailing Yacht recap seems like just what the doctor ordered. In between multiple naps today, I laid down on the back stoop for a few minutes and got some sun. It was a really pretty day today. I need to try to get outside every day. But tonight I can at least pretend I am on a yacht in Greece. On the other hand, tonight’s episode seems kind of dramatic. I had the previous episode on in the background and all the ads were infomercially sorts of things. There are not as many people selling ads these days, here or on the telly. Also, I am recording that Camp Getaway show on the second viewing because my DVR is so full. I’ll give it a shot and see what I think. It seems kind of dumb.
A Murder Of Crows
We start the episode with Adam and Jenna having a huge fight at 4 am. These two seem to fight all the time about nothing. Things are tense with them the next morning. Madison is in a pissy mood as well. Paget and Georgia are still overly flirtatious. Georgia and Chris go for a fish pedicure. I kind of want to do that even though it’s not very sanitary. Georgia told Madison that she told the crew about her sister being murdered. Madison is furious. I think Madison just has cabin fever and is reaching her breaking point. And she misses Parker. He was sort of her work person.
Oh wow. On of the guests has stage four cancer and this is sort of her last hurrah and a celebration of life. I’m depressed already. At least Madison and Georgia hug it out. Adam is having a major temper tantrum over nothing. This is why you don’t hook up with crew. If things were not bad enough, a murder of crows sort of attacked the mast. Apparently, this is a bad omen. Sometimes crows will migrate in my hood and will literally cover three or four yards. That scares the shit out of me. Byron also had a nightmare about being on a sinking boat.
Unrequited Love (Notes)
The good news is this charter there is enough wind for sailing right away. The bad news is there may be too much wind. Way too much wind. The boat is practically on its side. I’d be terrified. And sea sick. But Captain Glenn saves the day. But they are not out of the woods yet. The hydraulics are leaking oil all over the deck. Adam’s shrimp looks amazing. It all does. Chris continues to flirt with Georgia. But she is way more into Paget. Jenna tries to placate Adam with a bag of love notes. It doesn’t work.
Jenna blows off service to have a talk with Adam. Because, Jenna. Adam basically says he regrets getting involved with her. Um, duh.
Oh God. I started The Voice while doing all the tech stuff for this post. James Taylor is singing and I can’t see the screen. /sobs Shower the people you love with love. I am such an emotional basketcase.
