RHONJ’s Nonno Has Passed

April 3, 2020 by tamaratattles 39 Comments

THIS IS NOT AN OPEN FORUM!

Teresa and Joe Gorga’s father has died. Dayum this is a lot for those girls Teresa posted the following.

“You always wanted everyone to have a good time, eat great food, have a stiff drink and enjoy life. You are the absolute strongest man I know & I know you missed mommy so much but you stayed for us. Thank you for being the best husband, father & Nonno. Your devotion to mommy was one for the record books, you were the true example and a gentleman and devoted husband. You visited mommy every single day & would go twice for the days you missed while traveling or if you were to sick to go, my silver lining is knowing you’ll be together now.Thank you for showing us all what true love is. Love you Papa Rest In Peace.”

Teresa and Joe GiudiceJoe Giudice also weighed in saying:

Thank you for setting an example for us and my girls-you’re an exemplary example. We benefited from it every day. Thank you for being a guiding light—your experiences and knowledge helped us navigate day-to-day challenges.Thank you for cooking at family holiday dinners—I cherish the times we all sat around the table together playing cards and listening to your remembrances of thanks. Thank you for your wit—your daughter got the best of that. Now, Your ❤️ and my dad are smiling in this tough time because they get to enjoy your good food and funny jokes. Love you Cin cin ? #rip #cincin

Teresa really needs to move to Italy and be with Joe once this is all over.

This whole family has been hit with so many things in the last few years. Prayers that they all can get thru. Nonno was the voice of reason and so much comfort for those girls and Teresa. Glad that they are not taping now as they will be able to grieve in peace/

I will miss Nonno. I enjoyed watching him on the show. He was so adorable in his suspenders. I am so happy the girls were able to spend every day with him and they all loved each other so deeply. Teresa and her family have a very special bond and everyone can learn how to love one another by following Nonno’s lead with how much he loved his wife, Teresa and the girls. RIP, we love you and miss you.

This is so sad. When I saw online he was sick again , I wondered if he could overcome what Nj is dealing with. So many Coronavirus cases in North NJ. He didn’t look well in the last season.
I do feel like I know them in a crazy way, since I watch NJ from the beginning. It’s just a terrible situation . ?Prayers to those grandkids In both families

Nonno is with his beloved bride. How fortunate they were to have found each other. That was my favorite thing about him — his love and devotion to his family and the memory of his wife and knowing how lucky he had been. Cramming a whole octopus into a pot. Being there for his granddaughters. Godspeed, Nonno.

RIP Nonno! Oh his poor grandbabies! We all knew this was comng but what a blow to this family now! I hope Teresa was with him, no clue the circumstances. I’m liking Joe Giudice a little more every day. They both wrote thoughtful, loving and personal beautiful memories about a father and grandfather. Again, rip Nonno, you are home.

Bless his little heart. I always liked when Nonno was featured. Unfortunately, as a (hospice) nurse, when I saw how sick he was at Easter (I can’t remember, but I think it was Easter) and ended up having pneumonia, I had a feeling. He wasn’t long for this world.

I don’t think so. Probably pneumonia. He had been repeatedly hospitalized for that several times where it seemed like he would not make it.

I remember the Easter episode this past season, Nonno wasn’t feeling well. He opened the refrigerator and took a shot of tabasco sauce, I was wondering why. I read later it helped him with one of his health issues, could’ve been mind over matter. I found him to be so endearing in every single scene through the years.

Rest in peace Nonno, he is now with his Beloved, Antonia. My thoughts and prayers go out to his entire family. I wish Joe was here to be with his daughters and Teresa at this time.
