60 Days In Recap: Let’s Talk About Mark

March 24, 2020 by tamaratattles 13 Comments

It’s time to get all five undercover officers in the Etowah County Jail on this 60 Days In Recap. Tony and Heather are already in. And last we saw Pony Tail, whose name I now know to be Donovan, he was being held in solitary before even getting to his cell. Two officers that were taking him to the jail, pulled over and gave him a handcuff key to smuggle in. I don’t think they were with the show. It was all very strange. Apparently, Chief Peek set Donovan up to see if the intake process was going any better. Some how, Pony Tail will go right on in to his cell.

600 Day In RecapMen’s Pod

Donovan’s cell already has two people in the two beds so he takes a squat on the floor. Meanwhile Mark is coming in scared. Based on the title of this episode, it sounds like he won’t last very long.

Donvan notices right away that Tony has a little white bitch boy that follows him around like a puppy dog and literally does whatever he says. Donovan says while this will put Tony in more of a power position, he wouldn’t use someone that that. Tony tells Chad to steal a crossword puzzle book of the security desk. Chad takes it back to the room and the guards are right on top of him. And off he goes to the hole. Tony doesn’t give a shit.

Mark has had a back injury of some sort so sleeping on a sheet of metal with barely any mat at all, is an issue for him. He gets a cell mate in the middle of they night/early morning. He is already looking for clone. Mark stupidly offers to put money on his books for it. By the time the buy is about to be made,  Mark is ready to tap out over his bad back.

60 Days In HeatherWomen’s Pod

The CO for the night shift comes in and apparently it is her first night and she hasn’t been told who to keep locked down and who to let out. The inmates for the most part are running free. Sure enough, an inmate named Boonie has been set free by the night guard. This has everyone excited. The officer uses mace on Boonie and now everyone is all riled up even more than they were before. Boonie pushes the officer several times.

I do not understand why they have only one officer working this pod. And if they can find the guy with the crossword puzzle book it five minutes, why isn’t someone already in here?  But you know what? There is no time like a riot for Heather to get herself a prison girlfriend.

Oh, wow. A jail show? I might have to watch this. I’ve kept the TV off for the last week, but I may eventually buckle once I get bored.

Since I sometimes feel like I’m incarcerating myself by not leaving my neighborhood, I might have to watch more jail TV.

You say this every time you catch a recap… then you don’t watch. It comes on Thursday at 10 pm on A&E U think, We currently have four law enforcement types from other cities in there. One of the guys bailed withing a day or two, So down to two guys and two females. Usually they are all not law enforcement types but this is the worst jail ever and they tried with regular people and they almost all tapped out.

This show needs to come on twice a week or release all episodes to binge watch at once! I like this one so much I’m going back to watch older seasons.

I don’t like Tony. I feel Like he goes straight up inmate. I like the other 3, especially Donovan. Mark is too bent on proving Tony wrong rather than what he needs to do. The women’s pod didn’t seem as bad as it does this time. Maybe they just didnt show it. But wow it’s good!

I definitely suggest going back to prior seasons. The ways they introduce and backstories are interesting. This show is one that my husband and I both enjoy. We missed recording the start of the current season and A&E with our cable provider didn’t have it for on demand. So annoying but there’s enough episodes now that I’ll be able to binge without on demand. I need to check for a new season of Jailbirds….I watch many jail and prison shows. You watch one and others are suggested and then I’m sucked in.

Don’t be too impressed with Heather. She is going to hook up. The other female, Vanessa is impressive.

Tony is good at this! But it doesn’t make me like him. If there is one thing they should have learned from the civilians when they were in, is not let the men roll their pants up to their knees! Now we all know that’s were they keep the drugs and shanks!

Tony has gone full inmate. We’ve seen this before. It’s never good. He’s Dennis on steroids.

My husband and I had a disagreement watching this episode last night. I felt Tony can do his job in there without using people, as seen before by successful 60 days in inmates. My husband on the other hand thinks Tony is doing a great job because he is testing the COs. I see both sides, but the fact that Tony didn’t even feel a tad bit sorry for his do boy is kind of telling to his character.

Mark is so damn dumb. Like seriously, you’re offering money to a drug addict? Your first night in! I can’t!!! He is definitely gonna tap out because of “his back”.

I think Mark tapping due to “back pain” was just a cover for his clear addiction to prescription pills. Homeboy said his pain was at a 10 while talking calmly and moving his head and neck just fine lol even the producers didn’t believe him. Tony’s an AMAZING undercover, if you want to fit in with the inmates you have to think and act like one but he is getting a little cocky
