You Guys, I AM FINE.

March 21, 2020 by tamaratattles 130 Comments

I want you to  check in with each other here. I will check in here too but I have a tendency to drink too much and be all dramatic. I am fine. I have kind of been preparing for this my whole life. I am kind of one of those crazy prepper people. I  literally have rolls of black plastic sheeting in the case of a gas attack. I have plenty of cash and assets to get through this because I have prepared to be all alone in this situation all my life. I promise you there is no instance I have have not prepared to go though alone.

I go though everything alone and am quite good at it.  Anything you send me financially will be sent to people who need it. I have a plan for everything and my OpSec includes weapons. I assure you I am fine financially and safety wise and I know exactly what I am doing. I’ve got this and have planned for this.

So now we need to help you. I am not someone who needs your money or your help. I’ve got this. I’ve actually been ready for this for years. I will be fine. I do need your love and prayers especially for Banjo.

On the other hand I think we will be fine. I’d suggest on stocking up on chicken soup, water, Mucinex in the short term and  WATER, beans and rice in the long term.

What did not expect is Banjo not doing well in this time. So love your pets and calm down we are going to be okay.

Lol what? People have been screaming for a decade that we are completely unprepared for a pandemic, moreso than ever under the incompetence that is Trump – Bill Gates made it a reoccurring talking point in his college speeches. We can very much imagine it as the Black Plague destroyed a significant portion of the worlds collective knowledge, was completely uncontained, and had horrific symptoms. This is a virus with flu-like symptoms affecting not even half a million people; humans have endured far, far worse. The only difference is, this is the first pandemic being reverberated and echoed through the infinite halls of social media.

You are misinformed. We can’t possibly know how many people have been effected when there aren’t even tests available in most states in the US. The numbers we are being quoted are grossly understated. Only those people that are symptomatic have any hope of being tested, and not even all of them. Yet countless others can be carrying and spreading the deadly disease. They aren’t even testing those that they believe died of COVID-19! You may not believe in the severity of this virus, but I hope for the sake of others that you are adhering to the rules regarding social distancing or self isolation if appropriate.

I agree. Too many haven’t been tested, too many don’t know. You could be asymptomatic and pass it unknowingly. I think it’s just best to stay in & hope they can mitigate the spread& pray that it doesn’t return until next year, and by that time there should be vaccine or a cure. Because it’s here to stay.

Feeling like you are drowning for a solid week is horrific.

Everyone who says that we don’t know the true scope of this are correct.

A person I trust had this over Christmas, contracted from a relative who came back from Seattle. She spread it at Christmas dinner. Flu tests neg. Obviously, no corona test and she could not have gotten one anyway.

        It’s dreadful.

I’m hanging in there. Had to get out last night to hunt for groceries for here, for my mother, and some toilet paper for a coworker of my husband. The coworker’s wife just had her baby a month early and was released from hospital. Our stores are so wiped out. I guess they are everywhere. I feel bad for the grocery workers. I check on my kids each day and other friends and family to make sure they have food and are still well. I hope everyone in this group is well. Hang in there TT. We all need you!

I’ve seen generic toilet paper on eBay and Amazon. Not sure of the quality but if you need it it may be the only choice. As for your coworker with a new baby, maybe she can order from most this from a wholesale store. Bjs delivered most everything we ordered and for the dairy, vegetables and perishables they have instacart. It wasn’t same day delivery but was delivered in a couple days. Walgreens is delivering for free. I just downloaded all the apps.
I don’t mean to sound like a commercial but it is how my household was able to prepare for a couple months of staying at home. With a new baby at home I wouldn’t want the parents to worry about getting essentials. Hope it helps.

I tried to purchase toilet paper on eBay and Amazon and I think the generic paper you mentioned is what I saw. It all ships from China with delivery in May. I saw bidding on a 6pk of Charmin on eBay going for $40. That is crazy. The supply chain will have it back in stock in a week or so

Yes, IIt is crazy! I hope supplies replenish in stores soon. Not sure if anyone was in immediate need. I was just trying to help with the suggestion. One eBay seller emailed me telling me they had plenty for sale in a US warehouse. I guess in the filters you could put US only.

Maybe so. I didn’t think of that. My husband was cutting up a couple of old towels into strips last night. Just in case he said. Praying it doesn’t come to that. Its amazing when I think of all the non rest room related things I used toilet paper for that was probably a big waste

Use something else Jeeze I’ve no understanding of this great need of toilet paper. Use less of what you have, drip dry, save for the other.
Don’t most households keep extra rolls, I’m so confused about T.P.
No one needs paper towels for anything. Yes I normally use them, not now, saving them for back up.

Why water, you might not like the taste of your city water but most places it’s very safe to drink. I’ve hardest water around, 17 on the scale, extra minerals. I drink it now, use Brita for coffee. I drank it for 20 plus years I won’t buy anything I can’t eat or it makes money for me.

i drink electrolyte water. I do not drink my tap water because I am pretty sure I have lead pipes in this house. So I am rationing the water I do have on hand. But this is something I “hoard” all the time and has nothing to do with the current crisis.

Need 2,000 washable masks a day that go over their ? forgot the name of medical mask. The professionals then can wear those masks longer by tossing washable mask after one use.

Give Banjo a cuddle from me. My best to everyone. We have each other for support. Who knew that I came here for amazing snark and recaps only to find myself sharing (most likely over sharing at times but eh I haven’t been kicked off yet, but have refrained from potty humor). So just wondering what the eff I am going to be doing for a break from my mind that goes incessantly. I rely on reality shows as release. I have no shame about it…I will watch what some say are the “trashiest” and watch each episode more than once. I mean I did stop watching the Kardashians long long ago. I just can’t.

I have lost interest in some over the years only the pick them back up again a year or so later. Oh! Wow. Those guys from the Hills that were part of the reboot and thought they had another chance. Whooops. Bad timing. Sorry, I’m all over the place in my thought process lately and even hubby who is not processing all this well is isolating from me. What will the reality show networks do. I need to find a hobby.

A really easy hobby if you have a sewing machine that does zig-zag is making rag baskets from fabric scraps & clothes lines. You wrap strips of fabric (in front of the tv) around cotton clothesline, then zig-zag stitch them into nice baskets. I’ve made many from tiny (from silk) to bread basket size for self & gifts to laundry basket size (use jeans denim for sturdy works great). There are a couple great books on Amazon & that is all you need. No real skill, just white thread. I use pre-wound bobbins.

I did just bring out my sewing machine in the last couple of days knowing I would have more domestic time on my hands and needed a creative outlet. Now I will dust off a purse making book from several years ago. What a great suggestion. Also I think I have a sewing your own home decor book around and have plenty of fabric choices if I repurpose. I may just use some of my hubby’s shirts that he acquired somehow on his own but I don’t like. And he’s a big guy so I am thinking of these hemp type shirts from REI that are awful shirts but great for grocery or other bags. Teehee

Shout out to all…I need a movie to watch. The options that show up as most watched in the U.S. are just no. Just no. The Tom Hanks movie options given I was inspired by the very witty post about all that he has survived, didn’t come to fruition. I am not paying for Castaway when I already am paying for what I thought would give me every option. But no. Anyway my preferred genres are thrillers, suspense, horror (no unnecessary gore or campy nude type of stuff….I mean the real scary stuff), but I found that I am exhausted all of my other movies likes as well. And trust me, I watch nearly everything and anything so I likely have seen pop culture type already. I’m talking suggestions of your all time faves. Any suggestions for me? I would appreciate it, and I won’t give negative feedback. Just looking for something to take my mind somewhere else for a few hours. And I hope this post doesn’t get me kicked off the site. ?

Have you watched Knives Out yet? Watched it again tonight and still so so good. My parents hadn’t watched it yet, and they liked it. If you have, what about the most recent Murder on the Orient Express? I think that is the next one for us. With Knives Out, we had to focus on the plot enough to distract us from the news and even put down our devices!

Oh… just thought of another one. Give Phantom Thread a try as well. So well written!

Yes on Knives Out question. And I do need to rewatch. You are correct about having to focus to absorb all of the plot. Also I am liking your other suggestions. Thank you!

The focus factor is what I need right now. I tend to wander off physically and/or mentally. Yay, I’m excited to have a list of good options going. I don’t have a lot of patience and am frustrated that My Brilliant Friend season 2 is once a week. I have to build up some buffer and like to have at least two episodes queued up for watching if it is a series. So having suggestions is so exciting. I was most recently obsessed with crime documentaries. Variety is the key to my sanity.

I’m building dragon eggs. Puzzle pieces by numbers. I’m enjoying it but really. It is way more complicated than expected even after considering my weaknesses are spacial alignment with self diagnosis of being directionally challenged. This means that I select the largest container for the smallest things and get a little lost frequently without navigation or maps. But I can read a map so I’m not completely broken.

A few years later….I had several seasons of the US version (not as raunchy) to catch up on. THANK YOU. I enjoyed the first few seasons Wentworth (Australian drama kinda spinoff of a soap opera that was on the air for many years starting in 1979 set in a women’s prison). It is dark for sure but intriguing. Definitely has a lot going on to keep the viewer wondering what will happen next but isn’t for everyone, as well.

So is Nancy from this season. She put a pattern online but I cannot access the link she posted on instagram. Million Masks Mayday (Found on FB) has a good video, and shows you how to make a medical mask that allows for the insertion of more protection, but the simple ones are great for other uses, even some hospitals that are in dire need would take those over having nothing. The MMM also has a spreadsheet with contact info for sewers and distributors by state.

My mom is trying to make masks for our facility, the CDC put out the pattern on friday. Mom only had enough 1/4 inch elastic to make 2 masks and I haven’t been able to locate any locally. They ordered some off Ebay that we come by the end of the month…giggle they calculated 750 mask worth of elastic. I did my some ribbon and cording that should work to tie, I’ll mail that to her tomorrow, she was so excited to be able to do something. My parents are in their 80’s so they’re taking isolating very seriously. Sorry, miss them already but I can’t go near them and it’s very upsetting to me.

Checking in!!! T… so much love being sent to you and Banjo. YOU KNOW I GET IT.

I’ve mentioned that I’m quarantining with my parents (send more alcohol!). I used to bring over my cat if I was staying with them before, or if I went out of town they cat sat, keeping him in my old bedroom.

I was going through some of the stuff I brought and some of the drawers in my old room. I ended up sitting on the floor to sort through a suitcase of stuff, looked down and under the bed…. and found one of Simon’s whiskers. My mom has a Roomba that she has put in the room multiple times since he passed in September…. how it didn’t get this, i’m not sure.

So it is next to my bed on the nightstand. I feel like it is a good luck charm.

I just got a beautiful vintage locket for a friend’s birthday next month. Her mom died in May and I “stole” the hair from her hairbrush. I am going to put that on one side and a photo of Mom on the other. That would be a good place to curl up your whisker and place a photo of Simon on the other side. Except for 14k gold, the new and vintage lockets on eBay and Etsy are good prices.

I’ve left my house twice in the last week. I have to leave daily to feel human, it’s a quirk I have. Ventured out for groceries today with my daughter, so many abre shelves. Went to Walmart, Safeway and the meat market and I literally got the last whole chicken in town, seriously. Could not find ground chuck, or any chicken breasts, I didn’t get everything I needed. We are supposedly going into lockdown in Washington state next week so I’m trying to be prepared. Had to apply for unemployment for the first time ever, had so many issues I went to my bosses house and she helped me get it done. Took 4 attempts from her house and I’d been trying for 2 days at mine. Salons were shutdown last week so I have no idea when we will be back to work. My phone is blowing up with clients and it’s been put out that if we are caught providing services we can have our licenses yanked. I think that is in the salon but I’m not taking chances. I haven’t been super worried until today, there were too many people out, nobody is social distancing each other. Sending out hugs and prayers to y’all that we get through this mess quickly. Let’s stay sane.

The more stores we visit the more we touch, the higher the risk. Latest studies show it’s a, “sticky virus” and the virus lingers on surfaces for a significant period of time-especially things like cardboard, counter tops even recycle bags. In NYC, they’re going back to plastic, temporarily. at the groceries.

Virus lives longer on hard surfaces. It dies in 2-4 hours on soft, so paper bags are better than plastic. (Unless the info changes tomorrow.) This from Dr. Oz and Dr. Guptcha.

Since I stopped working I have been staying home. Yesterday I went for a drive and saw people at stores like nothing was going on. Hopefully the federal government puts everyone on lockdown since people can’t be trusted to do it for themselves.

Houston is not on lockdown-yet. My boss is requiring that we come to the office if we are not sick. I’m 67& stopped smoking just 2 years ago so you know what my lungs must be like. We did put up a sign on the door not allowing any customers to come in. The shit is, we are CAPABLE of working from home-we have the equipment etc.

Hi y’all! I’m a week into the self isolating thing.. I’m scared though that so many are not taking this seriously enough and that’s only going to make it last longer. While I’m staying at home with my nine year old and my ex, the parentals who are in the vulnerable age group are all still having people over and going out like it’s not thing!! It’s making me crazy!!!
I just cook, drink, binge tv, have a cry and then start over again…
so far I’ve made a batch of pork carnitas, chili, chocolate chip cookies, French onion soup etc.. just anything I can make extra of and freeze also.
My fav shows and movies I’ve watched are LetterKenny on Hulu which is sooo hysterical. Now watching Tiger King on Netflix which is sooo bizarre and of course lots of reality tv. I can’t bring myself to get through Love is Blind or any of those dating shows, too cringy! And am so sick of Bravo these days, there’s not much on there for me anymore now that project runway is over etc. can’t wait for RHONY!!!
Love to everyone and TT sending prayers for Banjo!
Btw is anyone in my shoes with dating?? It’s like I was ready to get out there and now I’m afraid the universe is laughing in my face!! I deleted my apps, no way I want to talk to a bunch of guys for weeks and never meet. I’m so over it all, im probably going to be single forever…appropriately I watched the movie, How to Be Single last night and it was pretty good. Just going to embrace it, what else can I do?

I only watched RHOA and sometimes the other housewives on Bravo until I started reading this website almost daily!! I never knew how good the other Bravo shows can be!! I am stuck home with my dog who is probably wondering why I’ve been home for almost a week. I wasn’t able to get any food so all I am eating is soups and pasta. But I am glad to have that. Some people don’t have anything ? I hope everyone is taking this time to take care of yourself and reflect on the most important things in your life. I love you all ???

Do you have Instacart in your area? Or grocery delivery or pick up (where they deliver it to your car in the parking lot). We just splurged on a grocery delivery (honestly, we’ve saved that on eating out and on gas). The guy dropped it off outside (at our request) and I either wiped down everything with a disinfectant or sprayed it with hydrogen peroxide.

Much love to Banjo. I hope he feels better soon. Since I’m in an assisted living facility, I’m not worried about toilet paper and such. The food here SUCKS big time, but hey, I’m not starving. Since they cancelled out trip to the dollar store, I can’t get my canned goods and pasta to cook in my room when the whole day’s menu is filled with things I can’t eat. I’m down to my last 2 cans of beenie weenies and 3 ramen noodles. What I really need is some tequila, but sadly the liquor stores don’t deliver. I’ve got enough money left for one more pack of cigarettes, then I guess I’ll quit until I get my check lol.

My son-in-law is on lock-down in assisted living & we are not allowed to deliver our usual snacks that supplement the gawdawful meals. Amazon has suspended Pantry deliveries ($35 min.), but some food items are not Pantry designated. That said, they are low or out-of-stock on many items, They were temporarily out of our melatonin gummies, of all things, & Prime deliveries are no longer 2-days on most or all things I’ve ordered lately. I had a $30 bidet spray in my cart for ages, waiting for bathroom remodel to complete & it is now $89.

I am so worried about how long this panic buying will go on.
I have no car. The grocery stores are all in various directions via transit. I was using delivery services. That’s completely fucked right now.
I truly hope the optimism about our supply chain evens back out in a month or so. I don’t have the ability to hit 4 grocery stores at opening hours to queue up for toilet paper when I run low.

Additionally, I hope more governors put down lockdowns. We have to. The only thing that can prevent us, the people who are actually less vulnerable safe is keeping us in.

I was on the bus yesterday and, no shame, but I was reminded of the local homeless community. And, I have a few people who regularly hit up my dumpster. Normally that’s great and helps with the recycling. But damn, it makes me nervous for those folks now.

The numbers are alarming. Supplies are low. In this first wave of testing we see the famous people and politicians who are testing positive. Imagine how many people they’ve had contact with? And they’re saying that most of us are asymptomatic and may in fact not be tested.

So, basically, we have to step up to stop this. Because there are so many people that can’t. It makes me feel a little bit better to think about it like that.

    If that tracks at all.

I waver on ok. Doing a month of HBO to catch up on Westworld and Curb Your Enthusiasm. I loved Avenue 5, too. Also, The Outsider. Excellent adaptation of recent solid Steven King book. (very low gore.) And I know we have a few Cynthia Ervio fans here. She’s awesome as Holly Gibney. She is a great character in his current books and I pictured her completely differently. But Cynthia is nailing it!

So is it not possible to Amazon food to folks? I wonder if my fancy rich people meat place is still shipping?

I just don’t get the toilet paper crisis. Are we all wiping our ass more than usual? As most of you know, I was raised in Tripoli, Libya. They didn’t use a lot of toilet paper… I try not to think about why. The toilet paper they had was let’s just say no Charmin. People would bring back toilet paper when they traveled. This reminds me of that. I just bought the usual giant pack of toilet paper and the two pack maximum for Kleenex. I also have paper towels. I bought some Handi wipes.

My mother had a FOUR SQUARE TOILET PAPER RULE. I don’t think anyone really followed it, But maybe you should all start. I’ve also been to lots of public bathrooms where drip drying was the only option. I just don’t get why people are so focused on toilet paper. I COULD RUN OUT OF WINE SOON! These are actual problems.

It’s still possible to use Amazon Fresh (full grocery delivery service including fresh produce) which you can access on Amazon’s main website or app from the selection row at the top of the home page or drop down menu. The only issue is that the delivery slots have been selling out quickly when they get added every morning They add new slots for 2 days out early each morning…that’s the best time to get them. They’re usually gone by 9am local time.

You can have the Amazon Fresh grocery order delivered to your address or to another address in the area. I’ve never tried delivering grocery orders to an address in another city but I would think that’s possible too. Amazon customer service (phone or chat) could tell you how to do it if you have issues.

I use it all the time so I also might be able to answer questions or email you screen shots.

I have been making sure we have one spare pack of TP. Target and Fred Meyer stores around me have some inventory if you get there in the morning. I went to FM before nine one morning. Limit per customer was one paper product but I could buy all the wine I wanted. That helped me feel a bit better as I checked out quickly and power walked to my car thinking that I’d get in a little cardio in the morning. However I was parked not that far away. Not many out which was good. The aisles suddenly feel spacious which is also a little comforting. Mostly I am still able to get groceries etc. delivered. I just have to plan ahead and be ready to buy as soon as the delivery times open up and delivery is about three days out for me currently.

TT, I sent you email the other day. It was from D’Artagnan and yes they’re still delivering and have a 25% off sale. Stocking freezer with meats. (Not hoarding, but I am not alone here) D’Artagnan also sent out a petition for a change.org thing for service industry and food suppliers where ppl can donate to all who are losing income. It was around the time JoJo in FL was having to close business and I thought of her and sent you the email with those links. I donated to a few that were bigger in the sense providing for larger groups of employees. There was also one in which they are trying to change the laws for them to make insurance companies include payouts for pandemics. FYI. I don’t know much about the industry but I tried in honor of Jo’s plight. Sale is still on I think…

Also, can echo whomever was talking about amazon fresh for grocery delivery. Our stores are empty and I needed to replenish some items and it was easier if you do it early in the day. Tried later first time and lots were already out of stock. Hope that helps someone/anyone .

Also glad everyone is hanging in there. Warm wishes to all and hope Banjo is better soon. Stay safe everyone!

I may have missed that. I for one felt badly for buying expensive pork chops today but did. I wish I could send expensive pork chops to everyone.

On the other hand, what I am not paying for is Amazon fresh. I find that to be ridiculously expensive. I am also surprised at the number of people here who are wealthy. I do have a few bucks to help as well. But let’s not forget that so many of us here are on disability and have serious issues. I’ve found that I have two groups of people here. some very wealthy people with time on their hands and some very sick people where this is their only outlet and of course people in between.

But I will be taking care of our own right here for now. And I already regret mentioning my expensive pork chops. 🙁 I apologize to you all.

Now I am craving pork chops.

I have found that I spend less on groceries using Fresh. Likely because I know exactly what I am looking for and am not in aisles seeing other products making impulse decisions. Also, I do not go to Costco and Fresh has some bulk items, such as a huge pack of babybel cheese for hubby, that I can’t find in the stores here and smaller sized packs are expensive. I haven’t found these specific options from other grocery delivery services. I work a lot of hours and hate grocery shopping. The prices end up balancing out for me overall given our preferences in my little household, which yes we are dual income with one large fur kid. Much different that those with little ones and teens.

I am pretty sure you are paying $100 a month for Fresh. I had the Whole Foods delivery for a bit. so I may be thinking of the wrong thing. They made me pay for Amazon and Whole Food if I remember correctly.
I was paying a shit ton. Then paying a shit ton more for Whole Foods because… once you go Whole Foods..

Yeah when you break it down for me, you are correct. I tend to jump into justifying when I am simply too unwilling to look at the figures. Life is changing now so I appreciate this. It reminds me that I will really need to look at things differently. Eeks I stay away from Whole Foods choices. See there I go justifying again. Teehee. Really though, this was a good gentle reminder for me to actually break it down as to what I am paying for. I used to be so much more pragmatic.

I don’t feel guilty for buying food online because I am quarantining & feeding healthcare providers who are living with me currently. As for time on my hands, I have very little of it due to the number of people I am currently feeding, cleaning etc for. I’m also not wealthy. I am in fear for my financial future but I’m more afraid for my loved ones that I have left getting exposed 24/7. I’m a charitable person and come by it naturally. Nothing wrong with trying to help when I can. No, I’m not poor, either. But I resent the implication that I’m rich and don’t have any real worries. Thanks for making me feel like shit when I thought we were friends and was just trying to help. I think you know me well enough that I am a decent person who didn’t deserve that reply. Still glad you’re okay and love to Banjo. Talk later when you aren’t drinking. And, believe it or not, some things are cheaper at Whole Foods, e.g., Akmak crackers, than other places. WF 365 tuff is good value. I balance out with Dollar General for Dawn dishwashing soap, etc. Trader Joe’s has CAGE FREE (only cage free there) eggs for $1.99 here in Calif. when most sell for $3-3.50 per dozen. It’s about choices AND WHAT WORKS for each unique situation. Please stay healthy and know we care about you.

They changed Amazon Fresh a few months ago to be more competitive. No more membership fee, and free 2 hour delivery. They lowered the prices too. That’s when I started using it. It’s not as cheap as Costco but definitely less expensive than Whole Foods.

I won’t be of any help to you on that one. I about ready to start catching up with you and am pouring myself a drink. Running low on mimosa juice and wine. So I will start with the hard stuff so I will very likely catch up to you quickly and then make sure I maintain a steady buzz so that I try to get back to my routine sleeping pattern. My English Mastiff is super agitated and pissy today so she will prefer that I stop washing things and cleaning stuff and sit my arse down for a drink or ten.

This is amazing! I have these slippers/socks that you wear to clean your floors. No lie. They are made of mop rope like, maybe kind of terry cloth material. I wanted to find them in Men’s size 15, make hubby wear them in the kitchen, and possibly hire him out to clean floors. I’ve been saying that I should wear them and record a short “workout while cleaning floors” video. There were some funny videos online about not being able to go to the gym (please, that is not a negative in my opinion). Anyway, a few steps of “slide your feet side to side” with a couple of lunges and leg lifts wearing these socks will be the checkpoint at our house. I already have my sewing machine out so will sew a few together to make the size 15 ones that I never found by the way. But I have six pairs of women’s size medium ones for this! His checkpoint will be set up in front of the fridge. This I must do urgently.

after this 24/7 lockdown I may need one as well. We’re only into week 1 and I am ready to run outside. I work from home and never go out but suddenly I have this intense desire to go everywhere and do everything. Oh and my birthday is Thursday so more drinking.

I live in the mountains (OR) near a park/campground and have seen at least 200 people or more walking to the park this weekend. Apparently the distancing oneself isnt working. People are everywhere!
Prayers and hugs to everyone out there during these uncertain times. And an extra special prayer for Banjo. Hope he pulls out of whatever is going on.

I totally pissed off Next door last night. there are children who hit this sign right outside my house. It’s annoyed me for YEARS but THAT IS NOT THE ISSUE. Every dumbasss kid hits the sign when they walk by. That’s a few HUNDRED kids when they have school. People with large families and or random friends are taking their kids to play at the school playground. They all HIT THE SIGN. It’s no longer just annoying to my dog and me, it’s sharing germs. KIDS DO NOT TO BE ON PUBLIC PLAYGROUNDS RIGHT NOW.

Ohhh my, I get it now. I reread and then it hit me, no pun intended and not as in “a senseless annoying act such jumping up and beating” a sign, but as in “why is it necessary to strike any object when walking by it.” Get your arses home and google how germs spread, throw in googling respect of property. Something like that. I’m pissed for you. Not only about this happening now but about this happening in general.

          Ah!! Yes the CovIDIOT Noun

          co-vid-i-ot

Also called the cov-ejeet in other parts of the world, they tend to migrate for an extremely short period of time and then retreat due to large fines for being in the wrong place at the wrong FECKING time, and keep hitting road blocks.

These fines tend to double over a 4 day period to around 60 thousand Euros – Their one longing is to reach their 2nd holiday home as they know it has been broken into or Grandma is there and needs picking up. SERIOUSLY WTF!!

No proof fined and sent home or prison.

If they are successful at reaching 2nd holiday home they swarm go into a mass fecking frenzy and store copious amounts of FECKING toilet roll.. This came to a halt 5 days ago.

          Definition

          1. A stupid person who stubbornly ignores social distancing protocol thus helping to further spread COV-19

          2. A stupid person who hoards groceries, needlessly spreading COV-19 fears while depriving others of vital supplies.

I have spent the last 7 days dealing with Covidiots ( 48 different species ) they have all gone,

One of the rarer spotted Covidiots believed he could ignore the lock down as although he did not have a dog to walk,, and could not hire a dog to walk,,,dogs will become a high commodity over the next 7 days:

Spanish police do know the difference between a dog and a fecking baby goat. €150 fine.

I had a great nights sleep Saturday night, best all week actually however I cannot deal with COC-IDIOTS in the USA/UK as it will be groundhog day for me so this week I am on pause, no emails or phone calls if another person in the UK contacts me about the lack of toilet rolls, I personally may loose my shit. I am good to go I have a pack of 6 and the supermarkets are stacked to the brim.

Vent about COV-IDIOTS as they will drive you FECKING INSANE try and be kind and patient for at least for 5 mins per day with them or better still switch off all media and ignore them and just check in here to discover the many types of COV-IDIOTS you will discover and have a belly laugh.

See you all on the flip side in 7 days when the COVIDIOTS have gone I have plans for projects but this week coming it is Books,TV, Movies as Covidiots are also emotionally draining fecking vampires.

I wish I could share with all of you the purple flowers in my backyard. I spread more moneyplant seeds every year. It’s really beautiful. Next year will be even better…

It would be even more beautiful if there were money along with the beautiful seed pods. I used to think that would happen if I believed. But I never saw the flowers — almost as good as money. I need to look them up.

I had to finally stop drinking today. My liver is shot and I’m crispy from spending all week by the pool drinking margaritas.

My hubs gym is stil open because they have less than 50 members and the hotel pool is open also.

It’s one of those really nice, luxury hotel pools.

Hey TT and the gang hope all are well during this incredible time. I am in Manhattan NY with my 91 yo Mom. I just retired and moved here to help her out since she lives alone. My plan was to go back and forth between NYC for Mom and ATL were my kids and grandkids live. Of course, I am beyond grateful to be here with my Mom through this time.

I live in the Inwood/Washington Heights section of Manhattan with no access to a car. My Mom is a true NYer who never learned to drive and after my dad passed 20 yrs ago, no more car. Anyway, we walk to the store with shopping carts so of course that limits how many groceries you can carry at any given time. Also, parts of this neighborhood are lower income so people cannot afford to hoard shop. Therefore the groceries and bodegas are fully stocked and open. Please rich NYers do not come up to these neighborhoods to hoard shop. There are people out and about (10% of the usual busy NY) because we have to get food but everyone is wearing masks and gloves. There is also a lot of green spaces so people are out walking dogs, running and cycling. Being stuck in an apartment building is challenging for sure. OT Governor Cuomo is doing an amazing job.

Some binge watch suggestions: on Hulu there is a show called Harlots which is a period setting but really well done. Also if you have never watched the Fargo series it is seriously amazing. Hope everyone stays safe and well.

New Zealand will go into lockdown mode midnight Wednesday. All essential services will remain, including supermarket and petrol stations, but that hasn’t stopped people completely losing their minds.

I’m not sure how I came across this website but I’m glad I did. You made me interested in other Bravo shows that I probably wouldn’t watch if I didn’t read your website. I hope everyone is okay and using this time to work on themselves. I am out of work for now and running out of food smh. I wish this was over with already!!!
