It’s already time for another RHOA recap! The ladies continue their trip to Greece this week and you can finally confirm what I said all along. Nene did not spit on Kenya. It’s not a terrible important distinction though because she sure seemed to want to. Also, the RHOA were supposed to filming the finale this Thursday. As it turns out it was the Biltmore that made the finale determination to end filming out of an abundance of caution over the Coronavirus.
Anyway, I am hoping to see more of Athens tonight, but from the preview it seems like it will be more snark, shade, tears, and the final blowout where Nene threatens to spit on Kenya. I just want to recap fast and get straight to Family Karma! We do get a quick peek at the Aegean Sea. And then we are back on the van where Kandi lets us know she intends to continue her close relationship with her surrogate after the baby is born.
Kenya Takes Her Shade To New Heights
The ladies are off to Dinner In The Sky where they have lunch around a table that is lifted 50 meters in the air. Before they are lifted up some wine is served and Cynthia tastes it for the group. Immediately Kenya start throwing shade at Cynthia for he lack of wine knowledge. Kenya, Cynthia is your best ally on this show. Do you really want to be such a cunt to her in this moment? The chyron says they are 100 feet up. Either someone can’t convert or they have a way to go to get to 50 meters. The view of the Acropolis is fantastic even with the cloudy weather.
More Than Just Plates Are Getting Smashed
Oh! YAY! We are going to a market! This makes me happy! Ice cream and crèpes in the same place? Yes please! Why doesn’t anyone explain to Marlo and Nene about how to dress in foreign countries? It’s extremely rude to put your old lady teats on full display. Nobody wants to see that. In the very next scene Kenya has to explain to Porsha not to climb on the ruins for a photo. “Act like you’ve been somewhere!” Thank you. Then they break plates. This is good therapy for Kenya. But it is not something you will see the Greeks doing.

I love that Kandi buys magnets on trips. This is my thing too. I usually travel with one carry-on suitcase and don’t have room for big thing. Sometimes I buy a tiny painting. Or candies. They also buy jewelry. I generally don’t wear any jewelry on trips so I pick up some cheap touristy ones. Kenya keeps trashing Cynthia and her wine knowledge. When the producers ask about her rudeness, she threatens to stop the interview if they keep asking her about it. Well, Kenya, try not bashing your friends’s business on TV and they won’t ask you about it.
The Evil Eye
Tanya and Porsha bought evil eye bracelets and they bought one for Cynthia too. Later they give it to Cynthia and point out that Kenya was shading her wine knowledge. In other words they are there to stir the pot. Porsha shades Cynthia in her talking head while at the same time condemning Kenya for it. Cynthia says she gets Kenya’s sense of humor. Porsha and Tanya still drive it home. Cynthia says that Kenya is going through a hard time right now so she is giving her a pass.

On the bus ride to the vineyard, Nene seems to admit that she knows about Gregg’s cheating. Word on Mama Joyce’s streets is that they both have relationships outside of their marriage. Porsha tells the vineyard owner about Cynthia’s wine cellar and he tells her that he has contacts for her in Atlanta. I should point out here that Nene has left her pajamas at the hotel this time and is wearing a negligee and a robe. Marlo is wearing very sleepwear with a robe and a five foot train. And heels. I would be mortified to be with most of these people in a foreign country. Kandi is the only one properly dressed for the occasion. Even Cynthia is wearing some short thing with a long flowy sheer robe and Kenya is wearing a full length dress. To a vineyard!
Sisterly Bonding
Kenya buys wines for Cynthia in addition to some for herself. While the rest are shopping, Porsha and Nene have a long talk. Production shows all of the evil tweets Nene sent to Porsha. They also play the footage of Nene getting physical with Porsha in Nene’s closet from last season. Porsha was in postpartum depression. Nene says she was in the middle of Gregg’s cancer. In the end they both hug it out. Nene seems really genuine in her apologies. They both cry.

Then they are off to dinner. Athens is apparently full of stray cats all around the outdoor cafés. Did Marlo just ask for ketchup? Gawd. The ladies love the food, but not the cats. Nene feeds the cats and then screams when they keep coming around her. Cynthia skypes in to Eva. She is five centimeters dilated and will be having the baby later that day.
The Evil Mouth
It’s time for a house party where everyone is suppose to end all of their feuds. This should go well. Kenya is already not having this whole scene. Kandi doesn’t seem down with it either. Porsha tells everyone that she and Nene made up. Cynthia brings up Kenya’s ugly mouth at the lunch in the sky event. Kenya says she was just joking around and they hug it out. Nene is never happy when anyone makes up with Kenya. Nene says ugly things about Cynthia in her talking heads. She calls Kenya a big ass bully to her face. And we are off to the races with these two going after each other.

Nene is all what are you going to do about it. Insults are traded. Nene says she has nothing else to say. But she does. Kenya asks Nene is this bipolar Nene. Nene starts saying that Kenya is bipolar needs her medication and then, “This is why your husband left you. Because you are bipolar!” Welp. We knew that was coming. It seems like Kenya hit a nerve with the bipolar comment. Is Nene projecting now? Because we have not seen hide nor hair of her husband this season except for the charity event. That is when Tanya jumps up and literally gets in the middle trying to stop what looks like is headed toward the physical fight that Nene keeps asking for.
Nene Threatens To Spit On Kenya
Nene in her talking head talks about Marc and his nose ring twirling out of Kenya’s life. Yeah, that’s your girl Nene, Marc. The one that you seemed to like so much. I wish she would drag you for even more filth. You deserve it. Everyone is trying to shut Nene’s evil mouth but it just keeps on spewing. This party needed more evil eyes. Porsha tries to move things back to the intended lovefest. Kenya goes next and kind of apologizes to Tanya. She really just thanks her. but close enough I guess. While Tanya is airing her feelings and apologizing to Kenya, Nene interrupts and goes back to insulting Kenya.
Nene says to Kenya, “Shutup before I fuck you up.” Sigh. Words are exchanged and somehow even with fifteen extra minutes we don’t get to the actual spitting scene. We will pick back up here next week. I have no idea why this RHOA recap took so damn long. Off to recap Family Karma which will take a while as I get to learn everyone’s name.

Tanya makes the show fun for me because it’s so much negativity coming from Nene and Kenya that it gets draining after awhile. I’m not age bashing but Nene is too damn old to be acting the way she does, Cynthia is a year older and never takes it there like Nene does.
Kenya is miserable and not a girls girl and this episode showed that for me. I always hear people say that Kenya is good for the show but I don’t see it because if being miserable, slightly aloof and always wanting to stir up negativity is good for the show then I’m clearly watching the wrong show.
I think that Brooklyn makes Kenya incredibly happy but RHOA isn’t the show for her and I’m just being honest. I believe Kandi, Cynthia and Eva when they say Kenya is amazing off cameras but the Actress that Kenya plays on this show isn’t pleasant to see and she seems very unhappy unless it’s drama going on or she can stir the pot. Why can’t Kenya be a decent woman on this show without all the foolishness?
The dinner scene with the cats and dog had me screaming ?
Tanya is so damn funny and she doesn’t have to try hard because that’s just her personality.
Porsha doesn’t have very good discernment, so it doesn’t surprise me how she just accepts the behavior from Nene, especially how easily she forgave Dennis after knowing him only a short amount of time. Nene ain’t none of these women’s friend and I think only Kandi and Kenya see it.
Nene is POT and Kenya is the KETTLE. They are worst, they are both miserable in their personal lives. Both in loveless marriages. Both treat Cynthia the same, both narcissist, both very mean, both hit below the belt. There is very little distinction.
Yep, they are very much a like. That’s probably why they don’t like each other. I do not like either so I don’t have a horse in this race. I didn’t mine they both were going after each other.
Haven’t watched it but just based off the recap they need to get rid of Nene and Tanya. I don’t even bother watching this ratchet show anymore. They need to keep Kandi and bring on more people like Tanya. I want to watch people having fun together. If I wanted to watch bitches fight I could go down to the corner liquor store.

I love Tanya! She is uplifting and fun. This show needs about 4 more of her.
As much as a Porsha has irritated over the seasons, I love her and Tanya’s friendship. Both of them love being silly and don’t care what others think of their silliness. Tanya is just good people, I think that’s why Kenya was so nasty towards her.
Nene has absolutely nothing to add to the show except for obsessing over and attacking Kenya.

I like Tanya more all the time; I have only watched one NeNe episode, but I see trailers and this recap. I’ve even started liking Marlo a bit more after seeing her on WWHL. But Ms. NeNe, I dislike more every week. WHO does she have dirt on? (I remember there is the Frankenstein creator, but she must have something on her.)

Nenes behaviour is very typical of a substance abuser, it’s the huge elephant in the room, did anyone watch Nene on the breakfast club where she mentioned 3x that she hasn’t got a drinking problem when she was never asked if she had once. She was on such a defence when she actually didn’t need to be. It was very odd and Charlemagne even asked her at one point if she was okay when she raised her voice for no reason, I’m sorry if I’m breaking any rules by speculating this but it’s so obvious to me. Porsha and Tanya shit stirring is hilarious to me and pushes the point even more that Porsha and Dennis situation is merely a storyline, without Dennis she actually has nothing to show does she?
I was living for Nene going after Kenya, especially after she shaded Cynthia’s business. I loved every minute of it and am looking forward to more of it next week!

I have to say that last night I really saw how sneakily mean-girl Kenya can be. And I love Kenya. It wasn’t shade she was throwing towards Cynthia. She was really trying to make Cynthia look ignorant. That is LOW. If she is supposed to be your friend, why would you attempt to make her look bad… It results in the same thing Kenya accused Tanya with wig-gate of doing: “tarnishing her brand”. So it is okay to taunt Cynthia and embarrass her but Tanya and the girls can’t have a bit of play-fun with Kenya’s hairpiece? Oh the misery who love miserable-company.
Likewise, I felt that scene with Nene and Porsha. Porsha made me laugh in her confessional talking about black people and no animals in the kitchen. She turns her head to the side and says: “Get outta here dog!” LOL Very funny moment for me. I thought the “Dinner with Cats” was cute.
On another lighter note, I loved the flowing dresses and Grecian-esque sandals of those who wore those items. I loved shopping at the bazaar. I even liked the breaking of the plates and yells of Opa! and whatever the women were passionate about. Margo was truthful: I’m passionate about money or finances or something that effect. Again, I laughed–even smiled. Nice seeing the ladies carefree for a moment.
The Goddess Round-Table. Sigh. The “rosay” was obviously flowing. Nene’s mouth… SMH. She said either to the group or in her confessional: You should’ve been assaulted or something like that. I was so disappointed. Where is the growth?
Lawd, it’s hard to be a Kenya Moore fan. I’m still on her team but the wine shade was not cool. I wish Cynthia had responded differently like “Chileee, I’m learning as I go.” Has Cynthia ever claimed to be a wine expert anyway? It was just uncalled for.

I’m struggling with words about Nene. It pains me that such an uneducated, unprincipled gutter rat has been gifted with a platform and with money to spread her ignorance from shore to shore. There are people who emulate her behavior thinking it is acceptable. And now I have to deal with them in real life! I agree with you. Especially about NeNe. She is a cancer. She seems as if she is trying to “turn up” cause she might have been in jeopardy of getting let go. She is gutter, and she tries to hit below the belt, but once you go at her; she can’t handle that. When she goes low; they don’t go lower…they are just telling the truth about her. She grates my nerves. I wish Bravo would just fire her behind. She is a wanna be, and she is a never will be!!!!
