One thing about this terrifying season of this show is that the titles motivate me to get on my 60 Days In recaps. This week, Ashley…you in danger girl! This season has to be coming to an end or the ones dumb enough to still be in there are all gonna get killed. Also, I am ready to see some of the exit interviews. At the beginning of this episode, they showed Ashley grabbing Ciara’s feet to keep her from diving off the balcony to her death. I did not see her put her arm behind her back like someone said here last week.
Men’s Pod
Is it me or is Tony catching a bit of Dennisitis? Speaking of Dennis, he is starting to realize he has nothing to report to the sheriff. He is hoping that someone will offer him some drugs. That is his total plan. Meanwhile, in a commercial for next week, Tony says he wants to do another 60 days.
Tony roughs up a non paying customer and scares him so bad that he asks to go to protective custody. And they let him. Why can’t Ciara go to protective custody?

Dennis tries to buy some ICE and gets caught by the COs. But none of that scene mad much sense to me. Why was he bothered about leaving his cell when it looked like everyone was on rec time? I didn’t follow any of it but now he has drugs. Um YAY?
Women’s Pod
Why is Ashley dragging the crew in to interview her in her pod? I guess they were there to give her cover for pulling her out. Ashley knows her cover has been blown. Ashley really doesn’t want to tap out. However, production is going to update Chief Peek about the situation. How is he not already updated? Chief Peek says he is pulling Ashley. She cries. There are only eight days left and feels like she failed. And then there were three. Who knew that Jennifer would be the last woman standing?

I cannot stand to see Ciara walking around convulsing with absolutely no medical care. It infuriates me. Oh God. They just keep showing it. Somebody, or tens of somebodies need to be in prison for the abuse of this woman. Jennifer means well but I think Ciara needs a bit more than laying on of the hands. But anything is better than nothing at this point.
Maybe This Cookie Isn’t A Good Idea…
Ha! Ashley gets out and goes to an administration building where someone gives her a real cookie. Then see passes a mirror and freaks out about how fat she has gotten. Being locked up with no exercise and nothing decent to eat will do that to you. She gives the rest of the cookie back. Ashley meets with the sheriff and Chief Peek. She thanks Chief Peek for pulling her out. Then she tells about the ridiculous pat downs. She had some good intel about drugs coming in inside their bras. Or lack thereof. And about Miss Williams. He tells her he has already terminated Miss Williams.

Sorry this recap isn’t very detailed. I was dealing with some suspicious activities in the hood. Had to call the owners of the house next door to come over. I hope I don’t have to call the police tonight. I just realized it’s Friday night. No wonder there is a lot of nefarious shit going down here.
I love this show!!! I am looking forward to the reunion. Dennis needs a serious reality check. He is in so over his head. Tony? I am in the fence about him. There is just something off about him. It’s very hard to watch the Ciera parts. I hope this opens someone’s eyes.
Thanks for recapping!!
Hope you are safe and sound after your Friday night
I love this show too. I just wonder how fruitful it is as far as them learning new stuff about drugs, contraband etc. At least the female guard was fired as a result.
I didn’t realize it was Tony saying he wanted to do another 60 days in, I thought it was the Chief that said he wanted to do another one.
Glad they pulled Ashley out of there, she was getting to be a bit much. I didn’t see her pull Ciera’s arm behind her either.
Can’t wait for the reunion!
It was another inmate in the previous episode who talked about Ashley sweeping the arm behind Ciara’s back. It was that shady inmate with the really short hair. She called out Ashley like she knew and put her arm behind her back like she saw it. I think Ashley’s training had just kicked in, so it was a muscle memory reflex.
They did do another season
Ashley made herself a few times.
Tony is starting to be flagrant too.
Dennis loved a sheltered life, easy to sport when hes not flexing. .
I really dont like that they kept showing Ciara either. It was so upsetting.
So excited for the reu ion
I have a pretty decent background in psychology and want to figure out what exactly is going on with her mental health, but since the other inmates think it is fun to put her on any drugs that come along she would need to be detoxed before she could be diagnosed properly and get the help she needs. It’s just infuriating that she is being treated like an animal. I am shocked that anyone found her mentally competent to stand trial. Is that not a thing anymore?
I am hoping that Jennifer makes Ciara her top topic of conversation with the Sheriff. If they have another season and she is still in there I am literally going to drive over there and try to get her out. Some of those people are probably in there because they can’t make a $500 bail and they have no family or friends. I continue to think about Ciara even when the show is not on. I can’t get the images out of my head.
It’s haunting, TT.
It’s awful they’re feeding her drugs.
Watching Ciara is heartbreaking. I think next week it looks like the other three are done?
Painful to see Ciara, and I’m sure there are others like her, in this jail and every jail.
When they have so many cameras around, why do they even need to have undercover people? The cameras show what is going on. For example, the cameras showed how Officer Williams banged her handcuffs to wake them all. So glad she was fired!
Why does Dennis say he could catch a charge for real? I thought they were supposed to try to get drugs to see how it is done. I’m amazed they are able to get so many drugs into jail.
Megatron walks around in such an obvious way–seems to draw attention to himself with all his running across the room and motioning and signaling.
I was interested to hear Ashley was at 52 days–I was always wondering how long they had been in.
Tony seems like he is crossing a line–the way he laughed about taking that guy’s clothes.
Megatron walks around as if he has SERIOUS drug issues and probably mental health issues as well.
I’m finding this show to be a Joke! Dennis and Tony trying so hard to outdo each other
In seeing who can get the most drugs is laughable as Fuck! Tit for Tat! Tony taking all that dudes belonging for non payment, really.
Ashley not mentioning the help Ciara needs full times was very disappointing for sure. I also agree with comment about Megatron he is putting himself on blast! I see this as a
shit show with no redeeming qualities as far as correcting the wrongs. And this is my 2 cents for the day. Thanks TT great recap!
I am hoping that Ashley spoke with the authorities in detail about Ciara and they just tried to keep it off camera.
I tried to find out if Ciara is still in there searching the website. I did not have a last name, but it came up as “no inmate with that name.”
I read your other comment about getting Ciara out on bail and I hoped you were not serious. You don’t know me from a hole in the wall, but…
People like Ciara may have serious mental health, addiction and neurological issues that are too complex for us to help. Some of us have such empathy for others that it may be overwhelming at times. Please believe me when I say that this a highly volatile situation you may be thinking of placing yourself in. As awful and heart breaking to watch her issues are probably more complex than you my be able to handle. I would hate for you to place yourself (and perhaps Ciara as well) in harms way. There are usually mental/behavioral health organizations liaisons for inmates. Perhaps advocate to them through her court appt. attorney.
I apologize if I have overstepped any boundaries.
I wasn’t talking about bringing her home to my CRAZY. I was talking about going there and trying to find the proper resources for her like the advocates you mentioned who I am not sure even exist there. It seems like she may not be there anymore and perhaps the show shining light on the situation shamed SOMEONE into helping get her into a safer environment for her And no apologizes necessary. I think we all want the best for Ciara.
It would seem to me that Etawah County jail or even the county could be held liable for 1, not giving Ciara her medically prescribed meds, 2, being given drugs since the guards are obviously not even checking for them. She needs a family member to step in
Hey TT, I don’t comment a lot here, but why is my comment in moderation? What does
that mean? Thanks
I wondered the same thing. You probably misspelled your email addy or something.
Why does Ashley cry every time she is put in front of the camera? Oh my god. EVERY FREAKIN TIME. And this girl is a police officer? How is that possible? I give props to Chief Peek for being so nice to her. He handled the teary eyed situation a lot better than I would have.
TT, I really enjoy your recaps! Reading your recap is about as much fun as watching the show!
Probably because she is a human female locked in a cage with so many people in despair and she cares. It happens.
