Why are people doing things during prime time and the debates!? I am so behind with multiple things happening tonight/this morning. LeeAnne Locken gave Dave Quinn over at People an exclusive statement regarding her from RHOD. I am actually surprised by this, because I know that LeeAnne and Kary were both filming test scenes with potential new housewives. I also know that they had mended fences are were out eating dinner together when my spy spotted them. There were no cameras in the restaurant. So it looked to me like LeeAnne dodged the whole bigotry (or racist allegations that were falsely made at the reunion.
Frankly, if I were LeeAnne Locken, I would not have done test filming after Andy rode her like a dog at the reunion and let everyone take a whack at her. Don’t get me wrong, her behavior was bigoted and needed to be called out, but they were brutal and Andy doesn’t treat men with horrible behavior anywhere close to what he did to LeeAnne.
Here is what LeeAnne Locken had to say:
“The last four years have been a trolley-slapping good time but after much consideration, I have made the personal decision to step away from RHOD,” Locken, 52, said in a statement.
Dave, why do you have to put everyone’s age in your stories. She didn’t die or get married so it is just not relevant. And yes, I know she is open about her age and mentions it in interviews. It still seems tacky. And I love LeeAnne’s throwback to the hysterical scene with her having a fit and slapping a trolley in season one. Except, the best RHOD recapper we ever had here, Xanadude, recapped it live, from Dallas and he points out that she PUNCHED a streetcar!
LeeAnne Wants To Spend More Time With Rich
“Getting to share my wedding with the viewers last year brought me tremendous joy, however, the season was very personally challenging for me,” she continued. “I am looking forward to stepping away from the cameras and spending quality time with my husband and friends, traveling, but most importantly, getting back to philanthropy, which was my main reason for joining the show.”
The RHOD was not initially going to be a Real Housewives franchise. Or maybe they just lied to the ladies. The show was initially about the charity scene among the wealthy in Dallas. LeeAnne is well respected in Dallas for her charitable activities. I am glad she is getting back to that.
And Her Pantyliner Is Still Exhausted!
“Thank you to everyone who has laughed and cried with me along the way,” LeeAnne Locken added. “It’s been an amazing journey, and yes my pantyliner is still exhausted. There are so many exciting things on my horizon that I can’t wait to share with you.”
I can’t help but love LeeAnne and her exhausted pantyliner. Though, at times I didn’t like her behavior at all. But RHOD won’t be the same without LeeAnne LeeAnne Locken. I think LeeAnne’s departure will be the death knell for this franchise.
My best sources are all sound asleep now. So I won’t be able to provide exclusive details until tomorrow. Story developing.. In the meantime I am dying to hear what you think about LeeAnne’s departure.
