The recordings for 90 Day Fiancé are very confusing. Apparently, I have both parts of the tell all on this recording. I also had all of the finale in one two hour viewing plus one of just the first hour and one of just the second hour. If I am not making sense it is because my DVR is full of all sorts of recordings that are labeled differently but are the same shows. That is making this 90 Day Fiance recap very confusing.
We begin with Tania in a knee high boot. She had a car accident and has to have plates and screws in our screws in her leg. Mike almost didn’t come. He says he had a busy work schedule plus Mike claims he was still trying to work things out with Natalie. It looks like the rest of the first half hour is flashbacks. Only I haven’t seen all of this. Or I have forgotten it.
Syngin and Tania
The host brings up the stupidity of Tania going to Costa Rica for 30 days of the 90 days. Syngin doesn’t look happy watching footage of Tania partying with guys in Costa Rica. Tania says that she and Syngin had 9 months together before they got married including their time in South Africa. Syngin says that the 30 days were hard. These two are snappy with each other. It doesn’t look good for them. Who is shocked.
Syngin still doesn’t have a regular job. Apparently, Syngin thinks he is an opera singer. Tania tries to support him in his many ideas but he doesn’t want to take singing classes or woodworking classes or basically anything. Syngin only wants to work a job he really likes. He says he considered suicide when he worked in the mines in South Africa. Tania says he hasn’t worked since 2018.
Syngin now says he doesn’t know if he wants to have kids! He says this could be a make it or break it issue in their marriage. Syngin seems to have lied about wanting to have kids. Then later they both think they are soulmates…sort of … maybe. Tania cries because everyone attacked her over the soulmate thing. Backstage after the show, Syngin expressed doubts to the camera about his relationship with Tania because he doesn’t feel his feeling for her are reciprocated.
Sasha and Emily
Emily says that, Sasha’s ex, Masha is a very negative person who is not over Sasha. Sasha was still married to wife number two when he met Emily. They claim they didn’t date until he separated. Emily’s sister and Sasha’s sister-in-law have been Skyped in for this segment. Betsy says that she thinks Sasha isn’t interested in Emily’s health, just how she looks. Emily says she doesn’t like what she sees when she looks in the mirror. She is in a bad mood all the time. It’s effecting their marriage.
Betsy says that Sasha doesn’t see marriage as a lifetime commitment and his behavior will change once he gets the green card. Emily points out that she lived in Moscow for three years and he didn’t leave her there were there are plenty of beautiful women.
Mursel and Anna
Mursel is shocked how openly everyone is talking about sex. Then, Mursel is asked if he was surprised by all of the things Anna said at the bachelor party. He said no, it is natural in American culture. The host wonders how they deal with not speaking the other’s language. Angela says they are both learning. But Mursel does fairly well with English now.
When asked, Anna admits there are times when she thinks things might not work out for them. Anna cries when talking about Joey. The host asks if they are keeping any other secrets from Mursel’s parents. She says Mursel wants a baby and they will have to do it through a surrogate. Anna says they don’t need to know about the surrogate since it isn’t done in Turkey. It seems Mursel wants to just tell them and let them be pissed. Actually he says he doesn’t care either way. Everyone says not to tell his parents. I agree. After the show these two seem fine for now and plan to stay together.
Michael and Juliana
When Tania was talking about going to Costa Rica for thirty days, Juliana says Michael left for three days and it was the worst three days of her life. That was after the 90 days though. Wow, Juliana has a house in Brazil that she is paying for where her family lives. But since she moved to the US her family no longer speaks to her. That is so sad!
Michael’s ex-wife comes out and the host asks why they got divorced. She says she will let Michael answer that. He says it’s complicated. Michael says he was doing a lot of partying and traveling and trying to escape. When the host asks if there was infidelity, Michael takes a long pause and then says not before the divorce was filed. His ex, Sarah, says he had relationships that went beyond friendship during the marriage. Juliana says she got her information from the ex because Michael doesn’t like to talk about the divorce. Sarah and Juliana are close friends now.
Then they drag the kids out. The host asks Max if he has advice for the other couples. I find this highly inappropriate. But, Max gave a great response. He said that the other couples need to learn more about the countries their spouses come from and try to learn a bit of their language before they get into a relationship. Syngin said, very well said. He turns to Anna and says “sorry.”
Robert and Anny
Robert seems to be fibbing about why he renewed the lease on his one bedroom apartment right before Anny came. As she points out, there are two bedroom apartments in the neighborhood. He also tries to say that taking her to a thrift shop to buy clothes was a test to see if she was all about the money. Lies. Anny says that it was all his idea to bring her to the US and he told her to leave her clothes and he would buy her new ones. She says she is not a gold digger and she had a rich man ask to marry her before and she was not interested. She says she lived with him and she was so sad she was drinking every day. If she wanted a guy with money she would not have married Robert.
On to Anny being upset about Robert keeping photos of his exes on social media. Anny says Robert has photos of him kissing his ex. Robert says that he doesn’t mind deleting photos if there are no kids in the photo. Anny says he is lying. I believe Anny. Then the porno grandma and her man Skype in. WHY? This is none of their business! Anny says that grandma asking about birth control was even more hurtful because she is unable to have children. Things get very heated when Robert says he doesn’t let them have visitation anymore because the man threatened Robert and sent nasty texts. Grandpa denies it and ends the interview on their end. Juliana looks terrified by the loud argument. I don’t get the story about the apartment fire. Anyone?
After the show, Robert was upset he didn’t get an apology from grandma. Anny says grandma will never apologize and she is fake.
Michael and Angela
Angela says that she and Michael had sex 38 times in 2 weeks! That’s three times a day, right?
Finally, we get to these two. Michael cries watching the tape of him calling Angela to tell her the K-1 visa was denied. Angela cries too. Michael’s interview was only 20 minutes. Mike says that his biggest fear was (is?) Natalie getting denied. Angela tells them that the road has not been easy for them but they always come back. Natalie cries. She says she relates to Angela for saying it was not easy in the beginning. Natalie worries that if the beginning was so hard, how much harder will it get?
Then Michael’s three friends from Nigeria are Skyped in. Angela smiles and waves. They play a clip of the guys telling Michael Angela is trashy. Apparently, she had not seen that before. Michael’s “friends” insult and mock Angela and she goes off like she is on an episode of Bad Girls. Angela says to cut them off or she and Michael are walking off. Michael takes his mic off and they both walk off. I don’t blame either of them. That was shitty of production to bring them on the show just to trash Angela. They finally get rid of the three stooges.
Michael says that he is done with those guys. All that matters is getting to be with Angela. They love each other and that is the end of it period. Robert gives Michael props for standing up for his woman against the haters. Juliana’s Micheal tell Nigerian Michael that he lost friends over his relationship with Juliana too. He says sometimes you learn the hard way who your friends are.
Angela and Micheal did get married in Nigeria. And the cameras were rolling so clearly we will see them in an upcoming season. Hopefully, but then they will be living in Bumblefuck, Georgia. That will be quite the adjustment for Michael.
Blake and Jasmin
I didn’t write a word about these two in part one. I am not even sure they were asked about their relationship. Blake and Jasmin both seem to be falling asleep from time to time. They have said ten words this entire reunion and it is almost over. Are they saving them for last for some big reason? The host asks Blake if he feels like Jasmin will ever be interested in getting to know about the things that interest him and learning about his culture? Jasmin says she does all the things he wants her to. But he never wants to do her stuff. What is her stuff? Sitting in silence looking bored?
Blake’s two friends are Skyped in to talk about how standoffish Jasmin is. It is true though. Jasmin shows no emotions. They feel like Jasmin thinks she is above them. Blake says that is how Finnish people are. The host asks if they think it is a cultural thing? They do not they think it is her personality. She is changing him. Jasmin says she is just a shy person who wants to do things on her own. The host asks if she is will to try with Blake’s friends. She say sure, let’s do daytime things, no more clubs. Blake’s female friend in particular seems like an asshole. I get that Jasmin comes off as very cold. She doesn’t have to like her. She shouldn’t be forced to go out clubbing. At the break, Jasmin says she prefers to talk to people one on one and having all these people there together really freaks her out. I can understand that. After the show, Blake says he doesn’t think Jasmin will ever get along with his friends. But, his friend are just one piece of his life.
Mike and Natalie
After the soulmate conversation with Tania and Syngin, the host asks Natalie if she thinks Mike is her soulmate. She says for her a soulmate is someone you can communicate with without words and you don’t have to explain yourself you just feel comfortable. So no, she does not think Mike is her soulmate. Angela tells Mike if Natalie is that important to him he should keep trying to communicate with her even when she says she doesn’t want to. I am not sure that is good advice.
But then Natalie agrees and says she wants the man to lead and Mike doesn’t always want to. Then. Natalie says that she is worried about living there for a year and not being able to work. She wonders what she will do and if Mike can take care of her. Then once again my DVR fritzes out. Something big seems to have been said in the last two minutes.
Part two starts with the host asking Natalie what the status is of their relationship. Natalie asks Michael the question. The host say she wants to hear it from her. Natalie can’t answer the question of whether or not they are together. She says that is not up to her. She says she is not out of the relationship though. Natalie says it is kind of on hold but she has a lot of fears and doubts. Mike says he has hope. I am not sure what I missed that was supposed to be the first time the subject was ever discussed in the history of 90 Day fiance. Natalie says she visa still hasn’t been processed.
The host says that they have never had this sort of conversation between an atheist and a very religious person. Natalie wants the father of her children to be religious. She doesn’t want them to say that Mama goes to church and daddy stays home and laughs and believes in aliens. That cracked me up, but it is very late at night. Is anyone going to point out the similarities of believing in God and believing in aliens? They are both beliefs with no scientific evidence. Natalie doesn’t trust him because he doesn’t believe in God.
On to the whole issue of Natalie being unable to say she loves him. It seems she felt she did at first and then something happened. Mike seems to be pretending like he doesn’t know what caused her feelings to change. Natalie finally says she was betrayed by Mike. Mike tells a story about having a long time best friend who is a female. They used to be roommates. She was getting married and wanted him to stand up for her. Apparently, he spent the night at her house the night before the wedding and her fiance slept at another house with the guys. It was apparently out of town and he had told Natalie he was staying with his aunt.
Did Mike Cheat On Natalie?
Natalie thinks he cheated and is not telling the whole story on the show. She says he is leaving out important details. Mike responds by saying this all happened a year ago. Natalie said they were already engaged at the time. Mike says absolutely nothing happened with the “good friend and former roommate,” Finally, Natalie came out with it. She starts to tell the story with “And yes, and after she wrote me with “He’s not marrying you.” Mike cuts her off with, “Okay so this is what happened…” Natalie says he spent the night in the house with only the two of them. She would never spend the night in the house alone with a man. She would never do that to him.
Natalie say there is more to the story than has been said but she is not going to say anymore. The host asks if this is not happened… Natalie interrupts and says, “Yes. I would love Michael. I would love him to death. We are running out of time and I want to hear more about the letter! Everyone is asking for he whole story and the dumb host keep cutting it off! This should have been the lead story! Mike says he is going to the Ukraine to give it another shot. And the host wishes us all goodnight. Despite all of this mysterious drama, these two seem to want to try to work it out. We really need them on whatever the follow-up show is!
