It has been a long time since I have done a Love After Lockup recap. I zipped through three Love After Lockup episodes and basically nothing has changed.
Clint & Tracie
I kind of feel sorry for these two. Nematodes have more gray matter than these too. They don’t even know how mentally deficient they are. Somehow Clint has another $5,000 to bet and lose on Tracie. She is going to jump that bail and Clint will be chasing a fugitive. Again. Oddly, Tracie didn’t allow filming for the first three weeks after she got. I found that odd. She seems to love the camera. I guess she had to buy a wig and stuff first.
Tracie says she wants to get help with her addiction. I hope she means that, but I fear she is in too deep at this point.
Angela & Tony
Absolutely nothing has changed with these two. Angela threw him out of he house and he slept in the car for a few days. The she put a list of rules on the refrigerator ….No drugs…No prostitute.. you know the usual list you hang on the fridge as a reminder to you criminal other.Tony whines that these rules are even worse than the halfway house.
Angela has a good guy in Tommy who is right in front of her face. Angela makes bad choices. She goes out with Tommy and the girls and she is busy tracking his phone. She calls him and tells him that she is sleeping over at her girlfriend’s house. Instead, she sits out in the car to see if he leaves. Shockingly, he stays put. Angela presses on with the wedding. Because, idiot. The scene at the church with “Brother Joe.” Is reality TV comedy gold.
Marcelino & Brittany
These two are broke as hell. Marcelino has lost all their money playing poker. She’s pregnant. They owe a lawyer, $30K for the custody case with the boy. And now they want to (not) pay another lawyer to help her find her two preteen kids she gave up for adoption. The lawyer bill is real by the way. There was an article somewhere about the lawsuit the attorney had brought against them for nonpayment.
Brittany was able to get the files on some things having to do with her adoption. The kids’ father wanted reunite with the children. Brittany says he was a pedophile who was with her when she was underage and the didn’t prosecute him. (That was all bleeped out). The state was trying to allow him to reunite with the birth father. I feel like these two have the most interesting storyline and the least drama with each other. Brittany finds out that the baby daddy is getting out of prison. She plans to confront him at the probation office.
Michael & Sarah, Michael & Megan, Michael & Maria
Michael was in Texas (?) with Megan for the first few episodes. She got her time, but Micheal has a whole harem of whores looking for prison dick in his phone. Now he is taking some random girl named Maria with him to try to see the girls. Where is she from? Did production fly her out too?
When he shows up his oldest daughter screams and cries and not in a good way. She clings to Megan sobbing and won’t look at him. She says she is worried that he is going to take her. She’s terrified and this is awful. Michael doesn’t get why she is so afraid. Because he is a piece of shit. Eventually, they play. Then she asks for her grandma and she comes to get her. Michael thinks he should be able to take the girls for visitation. She needs to go get some paperwork to stop that. Then the have another knock down drag out fight. Michael runs off to the hotel with Maria. Each girl he is with is dumber than the last. This latest fool wants to confront Megan. WTF?
Andrea & Lamar
Andrea told all her little Mormon friends that she and Lamar paid off a guard to have sex in a closet at the jail. That is how she got pregnant with the youngest girl, Priscilla. She finally told Lamar she told them. Then they told the kids. Andrea’s two oldest children have more brains than the entire rest of the case combined. They are less than thrilled with their draw in the parental lottery.
Andrea keeps dragging Lamar to a Mormon indoctrination. It doesn’t go well. Lamar points out that black people were not allowed to participate in the religion prior to 1978. Lamar say he has his own spirituality based on ancient African beliefs. One of the Mormons tells Lamar he needs to convert in order to parent the kids. That’s a big NOPE from Lamar.
Lacey & Shane, Lacey & John
After John got arrested for DUI and drugs, Shane thought things would settle down with him and Lacey. Nope. John is out on bond and in a rehab/sober house. He is still being filmed. That means this story is not over either. Are they ever? Lacey’s sister says that Lacey is still manipulating John. John says he still plans on marrying her.
Lacey says she is so impressed with Shane working every day. Um, everyone but her tends to do that. She and Shane go roller skating, but the kids are not with them. Because, too much trouble? So she dumped them with her dad. Shane decides to disrupt this “perfect date” to tell Lacey that he cheated on her. This happened right before they got married. This gives Lacey a great reason to run back to ohn.
Love After Lockup: Life Goes On
In other news, Lizzy and Daniel hooked up for the first time in a laundry room. There were not happy with their first sexual encounter. Lizzy was upset that her bra didn’t match her panties. It was on camera. Apparently, Lizzy got pregnant with some other guy and had a miscarriage. Not sure when that happened. Lizzy thinks she miscarried when they had the pregnancy scare on Season 2. Lizzy says she has a benign tumor that she thinks keeps her from getting pregnant. These two are no longer together.
We also get an update letting us know that Glorietta & Alex are not together anymore. Alex is back in jail. Shocker. Glorietta was estranged from her mother for a while but they are trying to work on their relationship.Alex is due to be released and Glorietta seems open to reuniting.
It looks like Love After Lockup: Life Goes On will be the next series. Vince and Amber will also be on. Are y’all still watching this?
