I thought I would do sort of a mini 90 Day Fiance recap today to sort of lighten the mood from yesterday and get us back to mindless stupid TV shows. Because, isn’t that why we watch this crap? It keeps us occupied so we don’t have to think about all the traumatic things happening in the world. So I am going to postpone my impeachment trial watching while deep cleaning on hold. Today is dining room day for anyone playing along at home.
Michael & Juliana
It’s Juliana’s big day and none of her family is there. I do not understand why Michael could not fly up her mother or someone from her family from Brazil. They have been to the US before I believe. Why not now? But hey, at least Michael’s ex-wife is there to officiate the ceremony! Because that’s perfectly normal. Right? Maybe the family didn’t want to come. They didn’t even bother to call her and Juliana is crying.

Juliana is a stunning bride. She seems very happy. The ex-wife is making the wedding all about her. Just shut up, woman and get on with the vows. Also why is she in a crappy sundress when everyone else is dressed to the nines. She also could have done something with that hair. Next week the ex is still pushing for a prenup even though they are already married.
Meanwhile, In Nigeria….
Angela is being bombarded by Michael’s family to get married in Nigeria and apply for the spousal visa instead of trying to appeal the K-1 visa that Michael was denied. Angela eventually realizes that it may just be a situation where she gets married in Nigeria or she doesn’t get married at all. Next week for the finale, Angela finds out that someone from the US needs to come witness the wedding. No one from back home can afford to fly to Nigeria.

Robert & Anny
For some reason, 90 Day won’t be back for two weeks. I guess next Sunday is the Superbowl or the Oscars or something. Will we have another Bravofree Sunday? I really enjoyed that yesterday. On the commercial for the next episode, it looks like Robert backs out of the wedding. But for now, Robert is working hard to be kind to Anny and buy her some red hooker pumps for the wedding.

Robert and Anny go out to lunch with porno grandma and her man. Why is it necessary for these people to get along. Anny says that Bryson is more in love with her than Robert, he calls her mama. What happened to Bryson’s real mother? Porno grandma offers to pay Anny off to go away. She offers her $15K. I am surprised she didn’t take it.
Tania & Syngin
Syngin should have been on the first plane to South Africa when Tania could not even bother to call him daily while she was gallivanting in Costa Rica.
Jasmin & Blake
Jasmin is annoying AF. Did these two know anything about each other before she came to the states? They have the exact same conversation every episode. It’s boring and repetitive and a waste of time. Blake seems to be realizing this is not going to work.

Oh wow. I just realized that the next episode is the finale so it is time for everyone to get married. Jasmin’s parents have flown in from Finland and the whole clan is going out to eat so that they can meet Blake’s mother. Where is his father? Jasmin’s parents don’t speak any more than she does. They one word answer most everything. Jasmin announces that she is not into working. She just wants to focus on her inner peace. WTF? I hope she is happy living in a trailer park eating beanie weenies.
Sasha & Emily
These two are a ridiculous couple. These two sure do have a lot of time and money to travel. They are not good travel companions. Oh, and they are supposed to be getting married the next day. Sasha is unhappy his family could not be there for his fifth or sixth or ninety-first wedding.

Despite a short time frame and a limited budget, Emily pulls off a beautiful beach wedding. I love her dress. he looks amazing and it’s very appropriate for the beach. The hydrangea bouquet was also smart, inexpensive and beautiful. So that is two weddings this episode that went off without a hitch.
Anna & Mursel
Other than Michael and Juliana, this is the only other couple I think has a chance. These two crazy beekeeping kids need to make things work. Last week, Mursel went home to Turkey because his parents forbid him from marrying Anna because she has kids. Since returning to Turkey, Mursel has called saying he wants to come back. Apparently, his parents have agreed to let him marry Anna. He will return in a couple of days.

Anna’s boys have been against Mursel right up until he left, then they were sad he was leaving. Now he is coming back, the two youngest ones were glad he was coming back. The eldest son is not happy about it. Mursel’s visa runs out the day he returns so they have to get married on that day. Mursel has multiple connections so there is plenty of opportunity for things to go wrong.
Mike & Natalie
Mike goes to see his lawyer and tells her about Natalie’s visa information being “classified.” She says that sounds like there is something pretty serious in Natalie’s background. Natalie tells him that he can stop the application for the visa if he wants to. But if she is approved, and gets a green card, he is financially responsible for her, possibly for the rest of her life. Mike didn’t know that. Um, SURPRISE! Next time it looks like they break up during a video chat.
I have been totally bored the past few episodes. The previews for the next crew coming in next month look just as interesting.. I noticed Darcy was on again for the new ones coming. I really get embarrassed for her. I am more into pillow talk than the episodes. More entertaining.
I love pillow talk!!! I hated Annie and her husband when they were on but I could literally live with them recaping everything I watch!
I agree, I’m waiting on Annie to get her own show. I love her!
I’ve taken to watching Pillow Talk instead too.
Tanya seems to have unrealistic expectations for her relationship with Syngin. First, she leaves him on his own for a month and then reveals someone else is her soulmate. Might be time for him to cut his losses and go back to S.A.
Glad that Muriel is coming back- he and Anna seem to really be in love.
If Annie and Robert get married, it’s likely they will continue to have conflicts over money.
I’m a big pillow talk fan as well. They are usually saying exactly the same things I just said while watching the episode. I wish TLC would offer the opportunity to a superfan to be a guest pillow talker. I have to to be honest, when my boyfriend and I watch 90DF, we say some pretty funny things. Once when Angela was in Nigeria he said she looks like a marshmallow in a coal bin. And not one of those mini marshmallows either.
I also thought the exact same thing about the ex officiating. She looked like she was going to the beach (because who takes a shower before going to the beach? ) and the rambling speech was totally inappropriate. Everybody knows inappropriate rambling speeches are for the reception.
I really liked Natalie at first. But I started to get the heebie jeebies when she went all Hannibal Lecter on Mike in the park that day just because he mentioned her ex. The way she just stared at him from under her hoodie….I was just thinking please blink, please blink, please blink. And the whole baby thing (I want baby!!!) While still in her home country was very offputting to me. Made me wonder, there’s not one guy in all of the Ukraine suitable to impregnate her? One of the many last straws for me was the blow up over the religious raising of the nonexistent baby. You’re engaged to this guy and you don’t know what his religious beliefs are? Do not pass go. Do not collect a K 1 visa.
The way she was petting him and speaking to him like a dog in the car on the way to the airport was freakish! Please Mike, stay far away from this woman!
Yes! That was so weird, like how you would comfort a two year old.
