Did Anyone Watch Spy Games?

January 21, 2020 by tamaratattles 43 Comments

Spy GamesI know what you are thinking. Why is TT writing about yet another show on the Misogyny Channel? My defense is that the competition shows are usually a lot better than the reality shows. I just thought I would watch it for you and give you some feedback. So far, the Spy Games haven’t even started yet, it is not what I expected. For some reason I was thinking it would be some sort of combination between Survivor and Big Brother and some sort of mental challenge/espionage. The judges/mentors are actual former CIA/Secret Service types as is the host.

They made the wrong choice about who to send home episode one. The other one REALLY needed to leave. The remaining people in the house are a diverse group. And by diverse I mean extremely weird in nine unique ways. Each one has a secret. Examples include, “speaks fluent Mandarin”, “previously arrested for racketeerng”, “works in a prison”, “Has lived in Qatar”, “Has he nickname Dr. Death”, “Has competed in an Iron Man” and “Not a US Citizen.” They have to decide who each secret belongs to.

It’s Called Spy Games, Idiots!

Of course many of these idiots have been blabbing since the walked in the door. One idiot leaves her dossier laying around and another person steals it. Because, Spy Games! The idiot gets physical with the wrong person. Then we see her falsely accusing someone else in front of the judges next week. Apparently, she attacked that person physically too. I am getting more interested after seeing next week. I have to see what happens to the person who misplaced her dossier (YOU HAD ONE JOB) and then loses her shit and starts grabbing other people’s dossiers randomly.

This show is on at a bad time for me. I already have Manifest and The Good Doctor at that time. But I will record a second viewing again like I did this week if they keep offering one. However, the next episode is already up in full on the Bravo site, so that is a sign that ratings were very bad.

I watched it. I was struggling as much as the contestants were to understand this “game”. How does this secret they all have pertain to these weekly challenges? And I wonder if they bait and switched any of these contestants because so many were asking the camera “what is a spy?”

I really wanted to watch this but am standing firm on my boycott. TT, it’s a trap! Don’t get sucked into another Bravo show because if it’s good like imposters was, it won’t last and will be left hanging. The demo of Bravo watchers that the misogyny channel is catering to won’t give enough ratings for a decent show to survive. Thanks for the recap though. Lol

Mole was awesome! Let me also recommend The Circle on Netflix… beyond addictive and not mean. It started in England and has now been adapted for the US. I was thrown for a loop when I saw one of the contestants come in on ep 7 or 8. I went 12 yrs of school with his father! And let me say the boy is HOT!

TT- I watched. Spy Games and I’m still undecided. I’ll give it a couple more episodes. Wendy Williams says NeNe’s secret is heart breaking and NeNe’s rep claims she us carrying the weight of the world on her shoulders. That weight is her huge undeserved ego. Bye NeNe!

If anyone wants to watch an hour of nothing but laughter, cheer out loud entertainment tune into Anerica’s Top Dog, Wednesday at 9pm on A&E. it’s by the producers of Live PD. It’s an agility skills competition between four K-9 police dogs and one civilian dog. The dogs compete in three rounds: agility/obstacle type course, scent detection/location and bad guy apprehension. We see a brief clip of all the dogs and trainers at work and at home. The winner of each episode receives $10,000 for themselves and $5,000 for a charity of their choice. At the season finale each winner competes for over all title and grand prize. I love it!

Yes! America’s Top Dog is great! We have the added bonus of seeing Sean Larkin this Wednesday too. Those of us who watch Live PD have seen most of the police dogs already. I highly recommend America’s Top Dog AND Live PD. Also can’t wait for Briarpatch to start. I’d rather watch paint dry than watch Bravo.

Yes, His name is Erroll Southers. He was in the FBI and was chosen by President Obama to head up his Home land Security team. My cousin turned the offer down I guess to continue what he loved doing. He teaches at a University in California. You can google him for more information. Thanks for asking

I watched and I liked it, probably because it reminds me of Big Brother. The highlights for next week look hilarious so I’ll at least give it a chance.
Completely agree with you that they should have sent home the “plank” gal and not the prison psychologist. I think he would have learned from his mistakes but she seems overly chatty for a spy. lol

That’s why I didn’t give specifics about who went just yet. 🙂 I don’t think we have to worry about spoiling it for too many people anyway. Frankly, I think the only reason plank girl didn’t go first is because she is going to bring some drama. But the bitch CRIED. There is no crying in Spy Games! I think all that shit in her purse was our first obvious production storyline.
