Tonight’s final episode of the RHOD reunion is an hour and a half long. They needed the extra time to really break down LeeAnne Locken. To me, LeeAnne’s jabs at Kary are not even in the top ten of hateful things housewives say to each other. But nonetheless, it seems what the majority of the final RHOD recap of the season will focus on.
We start with the infinity dress. D’Andra says it was a joke and it was meant to be shady. They talk about LeeAnne’s previous shenanigans with the other women that were very similar. They spent some time talking about LeeAnne going to Stephanie’s party dressed as “two-faced.” The group talks about Kary and D’Andra going to far with the prank. Andy is very interested in the lady boys of Thailand. I can’t believe he hasn’t been there.
Thailand, Thailand, Where Everyone Gets Shouted At By LeeAnne
We relive LeeAnne screams at Kameron. Kameron says she didn’t know how explicit the ping pong show would be. She was shocked. Brandi feels like she knew. I don’t. Not Kameron. Why would she have any knowledge of that from her Dallas bubble? Lay off my girl. Kameron says she got home and googled about the lady boys and the ping pong show. She says that the industry is notorious for sex trafficking and that upset her. Then says she has never been in a strip club. That I don’t believe. Chrissy Teagan tweeted to Kameron that she is Thai and that nothing goes on there that doesn’t happen here. True. But sex trafficking should not happen anywhere.
LeeAnne denies that her real problem in Thailand was that Kameron and Kary were having fun together. That is exactly what the issue was. LeeAnne just doesn’t want to admit it. LeeAnne says she was just worried about Kameron’s reputation in Dallas after going to the ping pong show. Kameron talks about the huge blow up at dinner. She had spoken to the ladies about how LeeAnne treated her but she wanted to start the conversation. And then, before they even had gotten their appetizers they all started ganging up on LeeAnne. Then she felt the need to defend her. So, the pretty much stole her moment. Then Brandi’s trashy mouth says, “No, you are just too chicken shit to have a moment.” The flask must be empty.
Moving on, Andy asks about Dallas society and then acts like it’s not real thing. It’s a really thing, sweetie and something you would know nothing about. But isn’t that how Kameron got hired in the first place and now you want to mock her for it? Then Andy calls Kameron an elitist. Thus says the misogynist who runs in all the elite male circles in NYC and Hollywood that exclude more people than any country club. This is like Lala lecturing Carter for having a sugar Mama. Completely ridiculous.
Finally, we move on to D’Andra and her costume as Mama Dee. I literally thought it was Mama Dee. I thought it was my poor facial recognition skills but all the ladies and Mama Dee said it was freaky and she looked like a Mama Dee clone. Mama Dee has over 150 of that exact wig style plus more with other styles. She donates them to the cancer center after a few wears. Andy asks for one for the clubhouse. Because screw cancer patients, he wants one. D’Andra says that Mama Dee realized she was in the wrong after watching the show. She paid off the lease for the business. Jeremy realizes and after coming to work with D’Andra why she is always so stressed.
Mama Dee Has Stopped Flipping Her Wig!
Some idiot wants Jeremy to get a job. D’Andra explains that Jeremy is a 22 year war veteran who has seen a lot of combat. He get’s veteran’s benefits and disability. He has a bronze star for saving someone’s life. He’s seen a lot. Let him do his art therapy. D’Andra’s company is doing a lot better and is very pleased with her turnaround. She is in Dillard’s now and on HSN. Her relationships with Jeremy and her mom are much better now and she is in a good place.
Andy asks Kary about mocking LeeAnne, for her limited international travel. Then he asks her about calling LeeAnne a bully. Kary doesn’t really own anything. Apparently, Kary told LeeAnne’s wedding planner on social media to go lick LeeAnne’s asshole because that is all he is good at. LeeAnne says that is a homophobic comment Andy says it is not. Kary wants to know if she is calling her husband gay because he licks her asshole. I am sure he will start divorce proceeding on her ass tomorrow morning. Who says that on national TV? Everyone thinks this is funny except for me and Kameron. Andy is in full blown hysterics. I feel a bit nauseated by unwanted visuals.
Let The Official Trial Of LeeAnne Begin
It annoys me to no end that not a single person on this stage knows what racism is. And that they appear to be about to spend forty-five minutes on this topic. Dumbass Brandi gets up and grabs a folding chair as a makeshift witness stand. Or execution chair. My brain is going to explode as the word racism is used incorrectly a billion times. That said, LeeAnne is apologizing profusely. As she did to Kary on the final episode.
Kary is a terrible actress acting like she was ever so hurt by LeeAnne’s words. She’s milking this for all it is worth. Andy says that she has been doing interviews after knowing that this would air and she sort of doubled down. But, LeeAnne keeps trying to lie about production when Andy is sitting right there calling her out on her lies every time. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD NATIONALITY AND RACE ARE TWO DIFFERENT THINGS. Neighboring countries mock each other all the time. I tease the Canookians (SWIDT?) all the time. The French and the Belgians mock each other all the time. This is just crazy.
Fry Her! Hang Her! Stone Her!
LeeAnne is a bitch. She doesn’t like Kary. It’s not really any different than what she does to all the other women in the cast she has been a royal cunt to. The other cast members did not think that production would have included all of the Mexican comments. Kameron says she would have told Kary either way. Stephanie says that Kameron was told it would be included before she spilled the beans to Kary. All of the other girls could have told Kary. But they are attacking Kameron.
Then Andy polls the women one by one asking if they think LeeAnne is a racist. D’Andra and Brandi both say she is. I am not sure we heard from Stephanie. Kameron says she is not a racist but said some bad things. Drunk Trash Brandi continues to interrupt Kameron. Kary isn’t asked and just cries. LeeAnne Cries.
Andy FINALLY changes the topic. He asks everyone if they have one thing to apologize fore. D’Andra says she apologizes to LeeAnne for hurting her feelings with the dress. And also to her mother. Brandi apologizes to Kary for going to bed early in Mexico. WTF? I hope Brandi is gone if there is another season.
Kary apologizes to LeeAnne about the dress and for calling her stupid when for not having traveled. Kameron apologizes to Kary for not telling her what LeeAnne was saying earlier. Stephanie apologizes to Kary for not saying anything to LeeAnne about her bigoted (she’s not smart enough to use that word, apparently) comments. And also for not coming to her sooner. LeeAnne is so broken up she can hardly speak and I am quite emotional as well. This has been a heavy reunion. LeeAnne apologizes to the audience and to Kary for her comments. For the millionth time this episode.
Then, Andy tries to lighten the mood by giving everyone one a monogrammed stuffed baby elephant. Then they sing Kameron’s song. The camera follows LeeAnne backstage and LeeAnne says to someone, “I can’t change what happened…” And then my recording stopped. What I miss?
